Perfect for larger group, plenty of beds and baths as well as living areas. Definitely staying again!

The property was great and easily accessible to downtown Ruidoso. Loved it!

Great area in the woods, saw wild life. The only thing it was hot in the house AC isn’t great. Other than that very nice place, plenty of room and the kids loved the hot tub.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Disappointed in the accommodation. The name of the property is called “Relaxation Station”. Most furnishings were old. The drawer in master was falling apart. Both TV’s didn’t work. Fireplace didn’t work. Skip this one. Destiny Properties has much better choices to choose from. The office at Destiny Properties was very responsive and timely when we called about issues and our deposit refund. But the owners of Relaxation Station should update furnishings and buy a couple of Smart TV’s.

We arrived right at check-in time for a three night stay. We walked into a very dated, dirty house with TERRIBLE mattresses. We continued to find things all weekend. Broken furniture, broken window blinds, trash under the beds, TVs that don’t work. They only provide 1 extra trash bag and 4 (half used) rolls of toilet paper for a house intended for 14 people (our group had 11). All of the mattress were so hard they were almost unsleepable. Imagine going skiing/snowboarding and coming back to a rock to sleep on. It wasn’t all bad—- the one TV that worked was nice for Netflix and the couch was comfy. The (very dated) appliances all worked (be prepared to dry a load of clothes at least twice). The hot tub was wonderful after a day of skiing. A few things I think the owners should consider- new mattress, an additional dining table as it only seats 6, a TV in the upstairs bedroom, a better cleaning company, the TV fixed in the dining room, a bundle of fire wood, a fire pit for outdoor use. I would not recommend.

This place was nice, sooo much room for everyone, and extra space if needed! The hot tub was perfect After a long day of exploring. The view was beautiful and lots of deer came up close to the porch. It was a fun weekend for everyone.

We had a group of ladies stay here while we attended a conference. It was the perfect place to unwind and spend a quiet few hours between sessions relaxing on the back porch. The wildlife all around was a wonderful addition. With a lot of women staying, having 4 clean bathrooms to get ready was priceless! Such a great place!

Wildlife come up onto the property, so be careful with the little ones getting too close! The scenery is beautiful. The cabin was comfortable. The hot tub was clean. There were several dirty dishes that had been placed into the cabinets possibly by previous guests and the tv remotes had dead batteries so we were unable to use the tv for the kids…. But other than that our experience was great and we would stay again. Definitely bring laundry detergent as it was the only product not provided.

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Place was clean and large enough to spread out. Really loved the hot tub and 4 bathrooms, especially for a group of 14! We've stayed in lots of places and this one is definitely in top 3. It had everything we needed plus more.

First off, the address given in packet was wrong… the house is a ways further up the road than where gps took us.. the sign on the property was tiny and hidden behind the dumpsters… spent a long time trying to find the house in the dark… tried calling the office number and after hours numbers provided and nobody ever answered or called back. The after hours number went directly to voicemail.. didn’t ring at all! Could not get ahold of them at all!!! The name of the house listed “Relaxation station” was nowhere to be found out in front of the house. The sign posted outside said “Little Bear Cabin”…. The house had an older weird smell.. it is a little out dated on one side and upstairs. The other side was nice but the master bathroom shower was gross! Felt dirty and grimy…we had to do some cleaning before showering. There was a razor cover and an open bottle of shampoo in the shower as well. The hot tub was not working and looked like it hadn’t been working for a while.. the tv in the dining room also did not work. The patio furniture in the front was absolutely terrible! Couldn’t sit on most of the furniture at all. For some reason there were instructions on the air conditioning but there is not air conditioning in the house. The house isn’t terrible. We were very disappointed in the help of the property managers with wrong information given and not answering or returning calls!

The layout of the house was great with lots of sleeping options. We really enjoyed the area and were able to see wildlife each morning (Deer, Elk, Turkeys, Squirrels, Birds). A couple of our party even got to see a bear cross the road while walking one morning. The communication with the management team was good and no issues there. There were, however, quite a few things that could be improved that would have taken our review from a 3 star to 5 star: 1. The Air Conditioner didn't work and the house got really hot as it was 90+ degrees each day we were there. The nights and mornings were tolerable, but we couldn't stay in the house during the day. 2. The hot tub was broken and unusable, which was one of the primary reasons we booked this location. The kids were disappointed in that. 3. We enjoyed sitting on the patio each morning, but the furniture could definitely use some updating. The deck also needs to be refinished as there are some nails sticking up in places. 4. The cabin in general could use some deep cleaning. Especially the master shower. 5. Like others have mentioned, the location of the cabin listing is much further from where the cabin is actually located. It shows as right by downtown, but is nowhere close to that. This was not a negative thing for us, but I could see where that would frustrate some people. 6. The TV volume did not work.

We went to turn on the TV, and the sound didn’t work their either. (Thank goodness we had brought our own Roku stick because that was the only thing there was to do. All of this sounds terrible, but it got worse. As we all got ready for bed, the downstairs bathroom with the queen bed had been leaking for a while. (We didn’t notice when we got there as we were all wearing shoes and the leak didn’t show through the carpet in the bathroom.)We had closed the windows when the rains came, so the entire bedroom and bathroom smelled like cat urine. Completely disgusting, and unable to sleep with the smell, the couple staying in that room was resigned to sleep on the living room couches. When we woke to use the grill the next day, it was disgustingly dirty and took 2 hours to fix. The rental property managers did not come to help with ANY of the issues. In fact, they never answered any of our inquiries about getting help with any of it. (My husband worked in construction during his younger days. We aren’t novices to taking care of a home. We just didn’t anticipate having to do that every day while on vacation.)I have left 3 messages requesting a partial refund, and the property management group has not responded AT ALL to any of them. We stay at VRBO’s at least once a month. This experience may change all of that. It was, by far, the worst place we have ever stayed. (And despite my showing the company that their location ping for the rental is 2 miles from the rental, they STILL haven’t changed it. They STILL show the cabin a short block from town. They aren’t concerned at all about the lie about the lo
