This property and location was one of the best I've ever stayed in over many years of visiting Maine. Allison was a wonderful host, and was very responsive when we had any questions. The kids (13,15 & 16) and the adults loved being right in town with freedom to walk and explore the fun shops and many restaurants. We took advantage of many things right in Boothbay, like a whale watching cruse and renting kayaks. The space was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was a dream. The shop below the apartment was amazing! The huge, two level deck had a great view of the harbor and was excellent for breakfasts, happy hours and hosting a lobster dinner for 12. We plan to stay here again and share this amazing space with more friends and family!

We loved everything about this rental. Lots of space to spread out. We cooked several meals and appreciated the well stocked kitchen and getting to use all the beautiful pottery. It was pretty warm during our stay, we appreciated the AC unit in the primary bedroom, and the portable fans helped make sleeping in the other rooms more bearable. The location is ideal, a short walk to everything in town, but a little removed from the noise and crowds. Do not miss the fantastic apple fritters and breakfast sandwiches from Bakers Way, just next door.

This place was amazing! The master suite had a huge shower with two separate rain head showers. The bed was wonderful. The 2nd bedroom was perfect with its own on-suite bathroom. Upstairs bedroom had plenty of space and it’s own bathroom. There are two decks that offer amazing views of the Harbor. Alison was fantastic to work with and communicate with. There were three couples and we hung out and were able to walk to most of our destinations. This was a perfect ten for us!

This home was perfect for our family vacation to the Boothbay area. Very nice, clean, and comfortable. As advertised a great location to all the restaurants and other important sites. About a 3-minute walk which was enjoyable. Highly recommend staying in this home!

The property was exactly as listed. On the outskirts of town but ony a three minute walk to all stores on main street. The kitchen was super easy to work in and loved all the dishes. Living room was was easy to get comfortable in and accomodated out large group of seven. Two main bedroom were very comfortable with huge bathrooms. Beds were all very comfortable. The upstairs worked well for us as well. We also made great use of the upper deck overlooking the harbor. Allison who is the agent was very responsive to any questions or needs. All in all a good value for a good property. Also lots to do in this gem of a coastal town. Thanks for a good time!

Exactly as advertised- clean, well-equipped, and plenty of room for our group of 7 to spread out. Street noise at night from the open windows was our only issue, too hot to sleep with them closed in one bedroom. Walking distance to town and several great restaurants right next door.

Just Wow! This home is beautifully redecorated and has a lot of unique touches from Alison's pottery business. We had three adult couples, each of whom value their privacy and comfort and I'm pleased to say we were all satisfied and then some! The AC in the king room and the upper floor made those rooms very comfortable. The queen room did not need an AC as it had a great cross breeze and was naturally cool. The kitchen was well-stocked with all necessities for cooking. We loved sitting on the two decks to catch a nice breeze and watch the harbor activities. The home is located at the base of the harbor far enough that you don't hear a lot of noise but close enough to walk to everything. My sister rented a place at the tip of the harbor and it was only a ten minute walk to get to her place. The main area with stores and restaurants are within a 5 minute walk, but there are options to eat as close as next door. This was our home away from home for a week and we were as comfortable as can be. Alison and her husband were wonderful hosts! Stay here! It's lovely!

Property is as pictured-open main room with renovated kitchen, dining and living areas 2large bedrooms on floor 2 with large, modern bathrooms. Extra space for sleeping on floor 3 with another lovely bathroom. Decks on both floors-watched July 4 fireworks from deck. Easy walk to town. Do not miss the beautiful store on the first floor! On mAin road out if Boothbay, so there is traffic noise, but we acclimated to it.

We had a wonderful week in Boothbay Harbor! The apartment has an incredibly well-stocked kitchen with ceramic art throughout, great couches for our teens to sprawl out on and a ping-pong table that kept them entertained while the grown-ups went out for kid-free dinners. We have vacationed in the area for 15 years, but it was our first time staying in "town". We all enjoyed the proximity to shops and the footbridge and walked through town multiple times per day. Alison and Chris were great hosts.

Alison’s residence was the foundation upon which we constructed a wonderful vacation in Boothbay Harbor. It delivered everything our party of four needed: space in abundance, comfort, cleanliness, a nicely equipped kitchen and – to the delight of our 8-year-old grandson – a ping-pong table. Above all, it delivered location, location, location. We were an easy, effortless walk from the footbridge, the piers, the shops and the waterfront restaurants. Ports, an exceptional pizza place, is a two-minute stroll from Alison’s parking lot. The interior of the residence, bright and airy, is rendered unique by Alison’s ceramic creations (visit her showroom on the Townsend Street side of the building if circumstances permit). The exterior includes a two-level deck from which the harbor is visible. Alison is a friendly, attentive owner. She responded quickly to any and all questions.

This was a great place for our family with teenagers to stay. Lots of space, great location, beautifully decorated, and the owner was easy to work with.

This was the perfect spot for our little family/friends trip! Great location and an adorable layout. Fit all of us very comfortably. It does not have AC and so it got a little warm but the window units and fans helped.

We could not have asked for more with this property! Alison was a wonderful host. The apartment was HUGE. And each room was lovelier than the next. We had no idea the bathrooms would be so grand or the decks would have such a lovely view of Boothbay. Downtown Boothbay with all the shops and restaurants is just down the street. We had a great time and highly recommend Alisons place!!

We loved our stay at Alison's property. It's just a few minutes' walk down to the harbor, which is great because parking can be limited there. It's beautifully decorated, open, comfy, clean, and has a well-stocked kitchen (with Alison's handmade pottery!). There's a 2-level deck with views of the harbor, and we used the ping-pong table upstairs quite a bit. There is A/C in the master bedroom, but we didn't need it while we were there. Bonus, the Baker's Way shop next door serves fantastic apple fritters and donuts. Also, we ate at Mama D's Cafe, which is right down the street, as well as Port's Pizzeria. Both are even closer than the harbor. And, Alison's pottery shop is right below the property. Michael, who works there, gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. Botanical gardens were fantastic - way beyond expectations. We also loved Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, and the tiny town of Damariscotta near it. It was a great stay. Thank you Alison!

The apartment was beautiful and exactly as described. An easy walk to so many great places in Boothbay Harbor. Would stay again.

We were delighted from the moment we opened the door to this upstairs location. Located above the owner’s pottery store, we were able to walk everywhere! We enjoyed using the beautiful plates, cups and bowls that the owners created. Never had to worry about parking. Great communication from the owners and We would recommend this place to friends. From the first contact we made with Alison, things could not have gone more smoothly. She was always very easy to get in touch with, and always very positive, helpful, and informative. The rental property was everything we hoped - and every bit as roomy and well-appointed as it appears in the pictures (no wide angle or fish-eye lenses that leave you disappointed at the apparent shrinkage of your rental once you see it in person). The location couldn’t have been better - a short walk to anything you’d want to do in Boothbay, but far enough from bars/restaurants to be able to sleep with windows open at night without being disturbed by street noise. Bonus: if you like to run, lobster cove meadow is right on this edge of town, and so is Hannaford grocery, making access to both super-easy and convenient. Goodbye, Boothbay! Only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer

This rental was so amazing we can’t imagine staying anywhere else if we return to Boothbay. Alison quickly responded to any questions and the property is spacious and very clean. The location is walking distance to all shops and activities.

Great location, walking distance to most everything in Boothbay Harbor Restaurants, shops etc. Excellent accommodations for my wife and I, 2 married daughters and husbands, 2 grandsons ages 5 & 10.

My wife and I vacationed here with our 6 adult children, and we loved it! This place was better than we hoped for! It was recently remodeled, spacious, very clean, had 2 outside balconies for us to hang out at, and was just a short walk to the bay stores and harbor. The kitchen was also wonderful with lots of space, and was well stocked with pots & pans, dishes, kitchen gadgets, and spices. The owner Allison Evans was easy to contact and her store was beautiful. We would highly recommend this place and hope to come back here again!

Our group of 7 women had a great time in this beautiful home. The location was perfect for walking to town anytime day and night. There was plenty of room for all of us and the kitchen and dining area were superb! Allison was helpful throughout ... thank you for a helping to make our trip to Boothbay just perfect!

The property and Alison's hospitality were more imagined. The absolute best place to stay if visiting coastal Maine. I would stay here and again and again with my family.

On the edge of the Boothbay Harbor shop district, this home was a great location for strolling the charming walkable town. This was especially appreciated, since some of our out of country companions were not drivers. The two story home, above the shop and studio, was beautifully appointed and spacious, comfortable for seven of us adults. We've been vacationing in the area for years, and always stop at favorite places like the Boothbay Regional Land Trust Parks outside of town, and A Silver Lining, Mung Bean, Sherman's, Abacus, Enchantments, shops in town, but have never stayed in town. We chose to share this area with new relatives, and were so pleased to find this rental. The downside might be the very limited harbor view from the two decks (yes,two) when the trees are in leaf, but that's what the town's footbridge is for, so it was not an issue. Some meals we ate in (grocery is near), for other good meals we walked next door ; walked down the block and also took a short drive to a couple. The owners responded to questions in a timely and pleasant manner. All in our group have positive things to say about our stay.
