The hotel is in a beautiful old villa-style building in a gorgeous, quiet part of the city. We could walk five minutes through pretty, winding stone streets and find ourselves at the harbor. It felt safe and quiet. Breakfast was amazing and huge, in a garden downstairs. The room was very big and beautiful with an especially amazing bathroom. Everything was clean!

The staff were present to answer questions, though the advertised credit card machine wasn't working (this isn't the first place this happened to us-- just something to keep in mind as you plan how much cash you'll need). The staff hung out in the main hallway and it was a little weird to always have people sitting right outside your room, watching videos, playing music, etc. But it's not a deal-breaker, by any means.

It would have been nice to have a suitcase bench, slippers and a long mirror in the room.

The room was beautiful with a large and comfortable bed. We enjoyed hanging out on the terrace. The breakfast buffet was tasty with a large selection in a beautiful setting.

no hard separation between bathroom and bedroom, but we knew that from the pictures beforehand

Very characterful. Bed was very comfy. Reliable electricity, great location, helpful staff.

I didn't have much luck with warm water. Breakfast was a bit disappointing.
