We did experience some issues. The sewer was overflowing outside so the smell was awful and numerous broken items. The heat on the main floor wouldn’t come on so our rooms were very cold.

Beautiful mountain top lodge with plenty of room for our large group to spread out and enjoy an early Christmas celebration! Well appointed with most all essentials for a weekend stay.

Used for a small business meeting. great location, plenty of space. Parking is a little tight.

Beautiful cabin! The scenery is beautiful. Very spacious for our 7 kids, they’re spouses, our grandchildren and our mom. All the adults had their own room and bathroom. Kitchen was beautiful and well stocked with dishes. 2 large dining room tables where the whole family can sit and enjoy our meals. Will book again!

The area around the property is full of wildlife. If you like the outdoors you will enjoys. Enough room for 18 adults. Everyone had plenty of room. The whole group enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at Abbey Lodge for our family reunion (20-ish people) in July 2022. The good: The house is huge; it comfortably accommodated our big group & everyone appreciated the large bedrooms and having their own bathroom. Big driveway held a ton of cars. The two huge dining tables in the common area let everyone eat together which was great. Beautiful views from the decks & we saw deer right outside every day + (wild turkeys)! Hot tub & game room were great to have (although see below). And there's a huge variety of stuff to do in the area. The bad: The house, while having great bones & great space, has a LOT of deferred maintenance. We ended up calling it the 80/20 rule; everything was 80% fine but the last 20% was not so great. I could make a long list but as a few examples: everything in the game room being janky (pool table tilted/no powder for the shuffleboard table/no way to attach the ping pong table net (we used pool cues LOL) + the ice machine/water in the fridge not working + 1/3 of the grill not lighting + no extra blankets to be found anywhere, etc. Our group is pretty chill so nothing was a huge deal & we had a great time together in the house. But I can definitely see some higher maintenance folks being annoyed by all the smaller stuff. :) ps) Couple of tips: don't bother bringing lawn games like we did - with the mountain-side location there's no lawn! And bring your own knives for cooking; there's not a sharp one in the house/they were bad enough we ended up buying one. :)

View is world class, cabin was built to party and relax. Had a wonderful time and I would encourage any group of people to get on it and enjoy This place. MY ONLY Complaint is that some one commented that the hottub was no longer on the property. We that was BS and I did not have my swimming trunks. IT was there so bring a swim suit.

My family & I really enjoyed our stay at this lodge. It had plenty of room for all of us and I like how there is a bathroom in each room. The views are amazing! Being able to sit on the balcony next to the fireplace and look down at all the nature was incredible! The only things that I didn’t like was that there were a lot of things that were old and needed to replaced like in one of the rooms there is a bed sheet that was all ripped up with safety pins in it . Most of the linens on the beds are old and outdated . The shower liners were very dirty and needed to replaced as well as the toilet bowl cleaners . You have to take your garbage with you and the nearest garbage can is far, mind you the house is on a steep hill and you have to go up a narrow road to get to the house so you have to take your trash all the way to the bottom of the road which is a huge inconvenience but other than that I really enjoyed my time here and it’s worth going !

No sand for the shuffleboard table, all cue sticks were broken off at the tip, pool table had holes on it. I called about the issues. They left a message saying they would try to work something out but I feel they were aware of the issues since there was a sign on the air hockey table that said “don’t use-legs are unstable and will fall” This was a huge disappointment. The house is large, private and nice for large families or multiple families. We loved the area, the decks and the views. But for the kids, not really worth it. It was very dusty, had not been cleaned in what seemed like a while. I don’t like to leave bad reviews but I want people renting this property to know what they’re getting.

Perfect size for our large family. We loved the patio where we all spent our mornings and evenings. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend time with our family.

Everything was top notch and lovely except the dryer did not work. Might want to make sure it’s fixed if you plan to stay there and use the dryer.

The cons, drive up to house is scary as is driveway...Internet kept going out...dining furniture is unstable...cleaning was so so on main level...game tables are worn and damaged..living room needs curtains or blinds to block early morning sunlight.. Pros, it has tons of space for large gatherings, the game room and hot tub are a big hit as is the decks with veiw.Never knew how awesome 9 bathrooms would be until 20+ of us stayed at this place and never even ran out of hot water!

This 9-BR house was perfect for our large group. The little kids enjoyed the game room. The kitchen and 2-large tables were great for cooking and eating. Each BR had a private bath. It was a great house, recommend it for others.

Our stay included a 3 day 2 night professional retreat for 16 members of our Leadership Team. The Abbey Lodge could not have been more perfect. Super nice accomodations with everything you need for activities, meeting/dining/entertainment spaces indoors and outdoors, great WiFi, phones had strong signals, and satellite TV was an unexpected bonus. This property does NOT disappoint for family gathering to professional retreat. We will book next year's retreat soon!

We had our managers retreat and all 22 of us fit comfortably is this fabulous house. Everything you need to come with a large group and have a great time!

This was a very nice and clean cabin what I enjoyed most was the outdoor porch with fireplace !!

We rented two houses in the area for two 12 man teams. Captains played Match Play to decide which team got to select houses and I won and selected Abbey Lodge. My team was so happy with the accommodation. Easily slept 12 of us, was super clean with all the amenities and more. I would recommend this place more than 5 stars if I could.
