My family and I stayed here for a long weekend. The were 9 of us, including my 3 grandsons. The house was in a very nice neighborhood and Manasquan is a cute town. The house was very spacious. The newly renovated main floor, kitchen,den and dining room was very nice. We did have trouble figuring out the oven and there was no power hooked to the microwave. If we stayed longer I would have asked the owner how we could have fixed that. In other reviews I noticed comments were made it was difficult to communicate with the host. I didn’t find that to be the case. Across the street in front of the house is a very nice basketball court. My grandsons loved it! All in all it was a positive experience. Oh, we had trouble with turning the lights on in the 3rd floor bedrooms and the media room. Again, if we were staying longer I would have adressed this with the host. We enjoyed our stay in this very nice house.

The house is nicely deceiving. The kitchen updates are beautiful, however through the house various things are outdated and not working. Some safety concerns were noted (missing stair railing and outlet not covered) which is concerning as I have a 10 month old and 3 year old. Additionally the house was not clean - hair balls were found in the made beds and upon arrival dirty towels were found in the washing machine (not run and no laundry soap). Additionally there were various holes in the walls and lights did not work. For the price of the house, the conditions do not align.

The good - very nice house in a pleasant, quiet neighborhood. Clean, plenty of extra linens, appliances and TVs worked. Wi-Fi was good once we had the correct info. The no so good - communication from the owner was almost non existent. No message when I booked the property, no check in or check out instructions. Had to prompt him on day of check in for door lock code. Couldn't find Wi-Fi info (owner did tell me how to find it on the router). Informed him we were leaving a day early, no reply to that message. Bottom line is that I would definitely stay in that house again but need a little more responsiveness from the owner.

We were in town for a wedding and this house was in the perfect location. Loved the solo stove and movie room. Exactly as advertised. Would stay here again!!

The location of the property was amazing. The house was huge and we had plenty of room for the whole family. The kitchen was well equipped and we had a great time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Home had everything that we needed. You can’t beat the location. We hope to come back again.

Accommodations were spacious, clean and very comfortable. Great location close to the beach. Truly enjoyed our stay and will recommend this listing to others and we would enjoy staying here again.

The property was perfect, it is a beautiful home on a great location. Just a few short blocks to the ocean. Plenty of space, great beds/linens and a lovely patio area with an awesome firepit. Nick was terrific, highly recommend this home!

Amazing amount of space! Great neighborhood, walk to town and to the beach. Tons of amenities provided. Owner was very gracious, and even called to check on our stay. Really enjoyed our time here - recommend this owner and this home to anyone!

Sad to say but it is not always location location. We were greeted by trash in the kitchen cans. A back storm door with the latch falling off. Dirty & stained cushions on all chairs in kitchenette and dinning room. A downstairs toilet that rocked back and forth when sitting down and getting up. Downstairs shower handle came off in my sons hand. Dirty uptake vents with mold kitchen and bathroom ceilings. Standing water in tub approximately 3 inches in shared bathroom second floor. Front storm door difficult to open due to coming off the hinges. Mostly no screens on the windows. My son had blood on his sheets. Dirty sponge on kitchen sink and greasy pans when you just pulled them out to use them. No directions on how to use TV's. None of the remotes worked. Internet down and the message was the bill needed to be paid. I could go on and on. Prior to renting I had seen one bad review and I asked the owner about that. I was told these people were not very good people and they had other problems. In fact the owner was so convinced that I would love his place that he said in his own words in writing. "I promise you will be more than Impressed! I offer you a full refund if you didn't love it" I asked the owner for a just compensation for the property's condition and the owner gave me half my cleaning fee of 75 dollars. All I can say is renter beware this home is not as promised. The location is very good. The owners response was prompt. However the owner does not keep his Promise. I would not rent this property again. The condition is not as advertised.

The home met all of our needs. There was plenty of room for all of us and the location was perfect for our family. There is a park next door and a basketball court across the street. We had a wonderful time!

No heat for 1.5 days; storm doors off hinges; no washcloths or dish towels; missing window screens; fireplace didn't work; movie room didn't work; movie room chairs in poor condition; movie room lights didn't work; hole in bedroom door and few of the walls; clocks didn't work; vents and fans were very dirty. Finally, there was no set of instructions for the operation of lights, movie room equip.; TV, fireplace, appliances etc. For the reasons stated above, we are requesting a partial refund. The house itself was lovely, had large rooms and was well appointed. It's in a great neighborhood and close to the beach. It just needs TLC

Wonderful experience- the host was quick to communicate and very helpful. The property has beautiful views and welcoming space. I had a quick last minute request due to hurricane ian rearranging some flights and the host was super kind and accommodating to us- even had a brief telephone call- very considerate! Beautiful property, very thankful!

The house was large and spacious, just a 10 minute walk from the beach. It had many amenities and cool features. Perfect for a large gathering of friends and family. The downside to all of the features was that it was sometimes confusing which switch turned on certain lights, operate the in wall speakers, fireplaces, the home theater, and out door lights around the fire pit. It would have been nice to have a laminated sheet of directions on how to operate the above mentioned items. It also appeared that some of the light switches were finicky or didn't seem operate properly. Overall we had a great time and were very happy with the space. P.s. the wireless internet was a bit spotty at times, so if you plan to work remotely while on vacation, it may be prudent to bring a mobile hot spot.

This house was perfect for our family reunion. Six adults, two teens, and two under seven. TV’s in all rooms, theatre room, wonderful kitchen, and all beach gear and bikes. Playground next door and park with basketball court across the street. The week we were there a carnival with rides was across the street! Beach a seven minute walk. Nick was a wonderful host. Big roomy house….easy to separate or come together. House requires some tech savvy…..but Nick easily reached by text.

This is the perfect home for an extended family gathering. The house is very spacious. There were numerous places for our multiple families in the extended family to gather and make memories. The neighborhood is so nice. There is a really nice basketball court right across the street. We had young children in our group and down the block there is a fantastic playground that they loved. The home was extremely child-friendly. The house is in a pretty residential area, but it’s a short 8-minute walk to the beach in one direction and the downtown area in the other direction. There were at least a dozen good restaurant choices and more than that if you were willing to drive. The house was well stocked with typical supplies like soap, paper towels, coffee filters, etc. There were plenty of clean towels in the laundry room. The entire house was very clean and comfortable. We had excellent communication with the owner as he helped us with several requests. The layout of the home was perfect for an extended family bonding trip. The location was perfect as well since there were a number of fun excursions options, but everything you needed for dialogue and bonding were tight in the house and in the surrounding area.. We look forward to our next visit.

Stayed here for a local wedding. Loved the location, vista from the porch, distance to beach, availability of chairs and bikes. House did not have any paper products, trash bags, laundry detergent etc, you have to make your own beds upon arrival from a pile of linen in the laundry room, I wouldnt call it dirty but I wouldnt call it really clean either, flower beds were not well maintained. The grill is a charcoal weber. The basketball area across the street was fun to have but also ended up being an early morning gym for loud pick up teams.

This house is perfect! Open floor plan and extra large rooms made it perfect for our large family. Located on a quiet street and close to everything especially the beach. Great park/basketball court across the street for the kids. Owner very accommodating. Hope to stay here again!!!

It was clean and the owner responded very fast

Property was very good. There was noToilet Paper or trash Bags. Do we have to bring our own? Outdoor grill was packed with charcoal residue and outdoor area needed to be cleaned. Overall I liked the property and would stay there again.

Nick was responsive anytime we had a question about the house. The house it’s self isn’t super fancy - it’s just what you need and is in an amazing location with a great front porch. The rooms are all very spacious. Would stay here again!

Perfect Host, Perfect House, Perfect Location

Nick was a terrific host who was quick to answer any questions I had both prior to and after check in. The house is great! Located across the street from the water as well as a beautiful park and a 3 min walk to the beach. The house fit comfortably 12 athletes and two coaches and was the perfect destination for our mini camp. Highly recommend!

Great time hanging out, eating and drinking good food, watching March Madness, college basketball together.

1) FALSE ADVERTISING: This property DOES NOT have three king suites; it has one king suite and two king bedrooms. 2) LACK OF CLEANLINESS: A thorough cleaning is necessary for the oven, toaster-over, shelving, spaces beneath the kitchen sink and the bathroom sinks, dining room chairs, and kitchen bench-seat cushions. Bath mat in the bathroom shared by the two king bedrooms was moldy. Theater chairs are a mess. 3) COOKWARE UNUSEABLE: Interior coatings of the pots and pans are severely scratched, scraped, and gouged. We purchased cookware to use. 4) OWNER DID NOT PROVIDE OFFERED DISCOUNT: Our initial dates were March 10 to March 13. The owner offered additional days at half price. We added March 9, but received no discount. Owner not respond to our inquiries. 5) OWNER DID NOT PREPARE FOR OUR ARRIVAL: Upon arrival on March 9, FS1 channel was unavailable to us. The owner was unable to rectify until 10 AM on March 10. We missed March 9 games. 6) NO INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED TO USE ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT 7) BRING YOUR OWN: No hand towels, wash cloths, nor dish towels; only bath towels. No paper-towels nor any additional toilet paper. 8) BE PREPARED FOR CLOSET AND DRAWER CLUTTER 9) OWNER NOT PROACTIVE AND MAINTENANCE INEFFECTIVE: Electrician spent most of March 10 working on (but not fixing) issues we did not report. We purchased a battery-powered light to make a bathroom useable. 10) OWNER NOT RESPONSIVE IN A TIMELY MANNER: Weeks before our arrival we asked for recommendations for places to eat and shop. The owner did not respond. 11) PURSE MISSING: After the electrician departed on March 10, we noticed that a purse was missing; it could have been confused as a tool bag and mistakenly taken by the electrician. We contacted the owner who assured us the electrician was beyond reproach. On Monday, March 14th (24 hours after we left Manasquan), the owner contacted us by text message to inform us the purse was found inside the property. The only plausible explanation is that the electrician placed the purse in the house after we left on Sunday, March 13th. 12) BOTTOMLINE: The location of the property is great and the property could be amazing if the owner was more engaged and put forth more effort. We will not return.

The house is as nice as it looks on the site. Open Floorplan downstairs. Movie room would have been nice had it worked. We reached out to Nick but no response. The cable was off when we got there and we needed assistance with the TV in the living room. Only basic channels available. The fireplaces did not work, we had to make up all of the beds, we had to find towels and there was not a single washcloth anywhere to be found. There was no dish soap to hand wash dishes, NO TOILET PAPER or HAND SOAP in any of the bathrooms! We had to go out and buy toilet tissue, hand soap, washcloths, and dish soap! After a long day and drive down it sucked to have to go back out to get those things and have to come in and make up the beds! We couldn't enjoy the movie room, plus there were so many light switches in the house, and when you clicked them they appeared to do nothing (that was just annoying LOL). The fridge and stove were both pretty gross, and there were no instructions for checking in and out (do we take the sheets off, or leave them on, what to do with recycling, garbage, TV instructions, fire place instructions, etc). Also, perhaps you should consider a no pet policy, or really clean it well between guests with pets because my group members had some allergies when they sat on the sofa. The master bedroom definitely needs more lighting and the door to that balcony doesn't lock. The chairs in the movie room can stand to be updated and it only seats 4. Small details will step it up a bit more and make a person truly feel as though it is a home away from home.

This house was beautiful, spacious, and clean. We stayed here for a family wedding and had an amazing time. The neighborhood is lovely and the balcony’s have a nice view of the water. All of the beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were exactly as shown on here. I would highly recommend this house! The host, Nick, was very accommodating and friendly. Overall we had a wonderful experience and will have fond memories of our stay here.

We enjoyed the layout and location of the property and Manasquan’s Main St is adorable. There are some minor fixes to property that are needed and we will send list to host
