We were looking for something with four bedrooms with separate bathrooms and this place was perfect. We had family from three different states, so the open concept was was very good for us. Easy walk to downtown and the beaches, we even walked to Verona Beach State Park one day. This worked for our family!

Really nice spot. Nice neighborhood. Loved going for bike rides. Spacious. Roomy. Has everything you could want.

We had a good time. The grandkids kept busy most of the time. We took advantage of the nearness of the beach for swimming with the kids - for hours! Fortunately it was not the sweltering heat we had been having as there is no air conditioning except in one bedroom. Fans in some of the rooms but fear it may be hot if weather were different. One ceiling fan didnot work. This was our second year and we were not disappointed.

We came to Sylvan Beach for a family reunion. 8 of us stayed at this converted church. It quickly became the gathering point for the larger family group.
Great open kitchen for prep and serving. Plenty of room to indoor or outdoor dining.
Ample parking.
The hosts were very responsive to the minor needs we had during our stay.
We'd stay again!

Great location to Sylvan Beach, restaurants and stores. All a very short walk away. The house is perfect - big kitchen, pool table, games. Every bedroom has a bathroom. Very quiet street. Perfect!

The Haven is set up perfectly for our group, with a large, comfortable common area and a fantastic kitchen. It's a very short walk to the beach and everything else the Sylvan Beach main street has to offer. We literally never drive anywhere once we've arrived.
Rhonda has consistently been an excellent host who addresses any questions very quickly. Looking forward to our next stay already!

Great place to stay in a great area with a ton to do in walking distance. They have it set up with towel and garbage bags dishes pans towels , all the little things you sometimes overlook when packing they had for you . Host was very responsive and was a great spot to reconnect with people. The pool table and sectional couches with TVs and massive kitchen were great .

But.... the lighting was terrible, most of the TVs didn't work, one old a/c unit in the house , the worst mattress ever, and I mean ever... and I wish the owner would have checked in to see how everything was going. The house needs some love.

We have booked this property twice now for an annual summer volleyball tournament at Sylvan Beach. It is a lovely place to stay with plenty of open space for our group of friends, an outdoor grill and spacious kitchen that make meal preparation easy, and a bathroom with a shower in each bedroom, all within walking distance from the beach! Rhonda is very responsive and easy to work with. We appreciate everything and plan to be back next year!

We weren’t able to enjoy Sylvan Beach because our schedule in Syracuse was so full, but we enjoyed being able to stay together under one roof!!
One of the best amenities about the property was having enough bathrooms and the beautiful wood interior of the great room!

We had a really nice stay at this property. Host was super helpful and location was perfect. We were a few blocks from beach. We were up in this area for a family member’s military funeral/celebration of life. Property was perfect for our needs.

Would be an ideal summer rental due to the proximity to the beach and town.
Would not recommend a winter rental. Space is too Difficult to heat.

Great place. Our annual guys trip with friends and family was great and part of it was because of this space. I really enjoyed the fact that each of the 6 rooms has their own bathroom. The fact that it used to be a church adds a ton of character. close to Turing stone casino ($40 -$50 Lyft/uber) plenty of parking and plenty of extra amenities like extra towels, air mattresses, pool table, games, etc. The property manager is very responsive and I really enjoyed reading through the binder and learning about all of the great things that the property owners do.

We were in the area for a family memorial service. Our immediate family stayed at The Haven and we loved it! There was so much for the kids to do and the adults enjoyed playing pool. This was the perfect spot for the weekend for our family!

10 of us stayed for 4 days for a bass tournament. Plenty of room, and exactly what we were looking for. The parking situation was a huge bonus, given that we had several trucks & boats. Rhonda was responsive to questions and very nice. We will definitely be looking to stay again next year when we fish Oneida.

Good location and plenty of room. We were there to play golf. We found the beds uncomfortable. the property was surface clean, but not deep clean. For example, there were dead flies on several of the window ledges

The Haven is a beautiful and spacious rental. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom plus a community bathroom as well. The Haven came stocked with all the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom supplies one may need, which was great! Plenty of space for parking and a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Overall, a great place to stay!

This is our second time staying at The Haven....we love that everything is on one floor and has 5 bedrooms and six bathrooms. We enjoyed watching the Preakness together as we are a horse racing family. There were plenty of towels, seating space for the ten of us. My sisters enjoyed the front and back patios for sitting and relaxing. Close enough to walk to a store or a restaurant. Thank you.

We were visiting family in the area to celebrate Thanksgiving . The kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans and serving dishes. It was great to have so many bathrooms and bedrooms with our large group. We loved the pool table and large living area and our 4 year old niece really enjoyed the toys. Rhonda quickly responded to all of our questions. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Had a Nintendo Switch, controllers, and games left behind. They denied it was there. It was only until someone from the address logged in and tried buying games that I caught them. They said they would ship it back and then ghosted us. It’s been months. Avoid this property. These people are not trustworthy.

The community space was outstanding! Plenty of room for everyone to gather, enjoy each other's company and for cooking together. Only downside was uncomfortable beds due to uncomfortable mattresses. Otherwise, it was perfect!

We had a wonderful time. Perfect location to the Midway and to our other family's camps. The rooms worked out great! Each room had it's own bathroom, which was wonderful. The kitchen was huge and allowed for great gatherings. Having the pool table there gave hours of entertainment for everyone.

Wonderful vacation home
This was our group's second year at the Haven, and we're planning on booking again! Everything was wonderful, the best part is that you don't really need to drive anywhere as all of the amenities are walking distance.
Rhonda is very communicative, and when we arrived early this year we were able to check in early. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Horrible Place
Very unsanitary, all matresses not clean and old, kitchsn is horrible stains eveeywhere and lots and lots of sticky in the fridge. Lots of stuff so old it broke. Mold everywhere and spiders/ ants.
