We loved our stay at this beautiful cottage. It was the perfect size for our family of 5 (plus my mum). We had everything we needed, the space is bigger than it looks. The beach is great if youre looking to perfect your rock skipping / climbing skills, *little kids love this* and swimming was so nice! Lynn and Jim made us feel like home. Bring a soccer ball or badminton net to fullly enjoy the very very large yard : ) NB: Bring aqua socks / neoprene water shoes... especially for the kids. You need them walking in the water. Forgot them? The 'apple' department store in town sells them.

The house is perfect for 4 people but can accommodate more. It had everything we needed to to cook and grill. If something was missing, our hosts, Lynn and Jim, told us to comer by the house and ask them for it. Location is perfect in its proximity to the water, access to the beach, patio furniture, etc. Highly recommend renting this property to anyone looking to get away for a holiday. It is also close enough to some awesome places that you can visit and come back to home base. Overall a really great experience only made better but the kindness of Lynn and Jim.

The place was amazing, quiet and peaceful. We had a great time, the check in and check out process is easy. The property manager responds quickly when we have questions and they are very accommodating. We will definitely come back and I highly recommend this place.

This stay was everything we wanted and more! Huge property for the dogs to run and play, waterfront, beach, a campfire pit, and lots of privacy. It was lovely!

Beautifully nestled in the trees right on waterfront of Georgian Bay. A secluded and very quiet location with clean accommodations and terrific hosts.

Nice spot, easy to communicate with host. Lovey clean space. Water nearby was lovely to look at with the snow.

We wanted to take a break from the city and relax. We stayed there over the reading week in the Fall. This property met and exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and beautiful surroundings. It is a modest guest house that is well equipped with all the amenities you would need. Perfectly located to catch the sunrise, go for relaxing walks / runs and sit around the pit fire outdoors. The hosts are very kind and helpful which made our stay even more pleasant and relaxing.

Great location, not too far from town. We'll kept property and a nice little beach area. Our schnauzer loved it he didn't want to leave.

We stayed here for a couple days in September 2022. We really enjoyed our time there. The cottage is spacious, very well equipped and very clean. It is quite accurately depicted in the photos online. The property sits right on Georgian Bay and had a lovely little beach. Best of all, it was so quiet and peaceful. Such a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hosts were great and responded quickly to whatever we needed. I would highly recommend this place.

Lynn was an incredible host as always. Her and her family are so welcoming. The property is stunning and the accommodations are perfect.

Wonderful stay enjoying yhe shoreline of Georgian Bay

My family and I absolutely adored our one week stay and Deer Path Guest house. Lynn and Jim, and their daughter, are not just amazing hosts but also exceptional people. They made us feel very welcome and they were so very kind and attentive. The Guest house is immaculate and was also extremely well-equipped with everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The property itself is amazing with beautifully manicured lawns and gardens and the yard for the Guest house is huge and allowed our boys to play football, Frisbee and other activities. The private beach on Jim and Lynn's property was amazing. I just wish that I had spent more time there looking out at the water as it was so calming and relaxing. This was definitely one of our family's favourite vacations and we cannot wait to visit again next summer (if Lynn and Jim are willing to have us back)!!! Thank you again to the exceptional hosts and for allowing us to make wonderful family memories at Deer Path guest house.

Gracious hosts. Very clean. Well-equipped kitchen. Great location. Beautiful sunrise. The only thing that could have been done to make our stay better, would be if someone turned up the water temperature in Georgian Bay while we were there:) This was my second visit and will definitely be back for a third!

Wow! I went there , seeking for calm and peace (yes, with my young kids, as it would be possible...🤣) And it was perfect! Literally on the shores of the lake. The photographer in me was thrilled! Lynn and her daughter were super welcoming and friendly! I highly recommend deer path!

This little gem was way better than we expected! All the little details were there! We spend Christmas at Deer Paths to be closer from our youngest son and just a few minutes from the ski hill. We did Blue Mountain and Horseshoe Valley. We will definitely come back if we are in the neighborhood! You won’t be disappointed!

The property is beautiful. Enjoyed that the tv played only dvds and vrc. My 12 yr old learned how to play a vrc and how to rewind it lol. There is lots of board games and books. The home is beautiful. We spent the 2 days in Blue Montain, next visit I will definitely be enjoying more what the property has to offer. 100% recommend!

The hosts Jim and Lynn were very welcoming and helpful throughout out entire stay. We weren’t expecting snow but got lucky and the property looked amazing. Definitely looking forward to going back in the summer and skiing next season.

The property was perfect for our family and the hosts were the best we’ve encountered . There’s space for kids to run and you are steps from the water ( private waterfront ). We cannot say enough good things about the hosts ! The kindest, most helpful and accommodating . It was a delight staying here and we hope to return many more time !

A beautiful property with private beachfront access to Georgian Bay, and gracious hosts; nothing more we could've asked for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the clean, spacious, well equipped guest house. From kitchen and bathroom essentials, to dog towels, to firewood, to the welcoming snacks - Lynn and Jim are such welcoming and warm people who care about their guests. We have a second stay booked!

Great hosts...very welcoming and had everything we needed and more...even candles for a birthday cake...they have thought of it all 👍 Perfect for watching sunrises, fantastic little private beach for water activities, close to lots of trails. We are very happy with our experience!!!

Stayed here for two nights. Everything was clean upon arrival. Even had a basic of treats out and a card for my wife's birthday. Nice quiet spot, the morning coffees sitting on the waterfront as the sun rose was peaceful. Would definitely come here again.

Lynn & Jim are great hosts. You can tell they’ve given thought to their guests and everything we needed was provided. I thought the guest house & property were even a little nicer in person than the photos show. Only thing missing would be a nice view from inside the guest house, but that can’t be helped. Lovely views are just a couple minutes walk to the shore. Still a 5 star stay.

Everything was perfect and exactly as described. The cottage was spotless with everything we needed. The welcome sign and treats were very much appreciated and the property owners were so friendly. The views of Georgian Bay and the water was stunning. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing few days!!

Lynn, Jim and Sorche were all amazing hosts! We were blown away by just how much was readily available to us at their guest house. We were welcomed by the sweetest personalized sign in the driveway, had snacks waiting for us on the table, basic condiments, all of the dishware and utensils you could imagine, extra blankets, AC, towels, shampoo, detergent, wood for the fire, puzzles, games, books - you name it! Had we had a dog, there were even towels and a tie-out stake for the pups! They were very friendly and invited us to use their kayak, enjoy the beach out front, and to let them know if there was anything else we needed. These folks were born to be hosts!
