If you’re a perfectionist or a clean freak, this lovely home is for you. Our granddaughters squealed with delight as soon as we opened the door to this fabulous rental. Having used VRBO for properties several times a year since 1995, we’ve rented quite a few properties. This one exceeded all others in being well-stocked. We had ten people and always had plenty of plates, silverware, glassware, etc. Everything was covered, from spices for cooking to plenty of hand soap at each sink, toilet paper, paper towels, detergent, etc. The location was within a couple of blocks to the Farmers Market and downtown. We rented a golf cart for our trips to the beach which is totally walkable, but with little ones and beach gear, we chose to drive. The patio was lovely for dinners outside and the cafe lights really gave it a great ambiance. The beds and furniture for all ten of us were very comfortable, so no complaints about morning backaches! The owners were very attentive and available when we had questions. I can’t wait to return!

Thanks to the hosts for sharing their wonderful house. We loved being close to both downtown and the beach. The house was a calming, cool retreat from the heat and bustle of the beach! The outdoor area was a favorite for gathering at meal times and in the evening because of all the comfortable seating and room for the kids to play. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals for all 9 of us. Thank you!

This is our second time staying here. The house is so clean and comfortable, and nicely accommodates my family of 8. The location just cannot be beat. We love walking into downtown and to the beach. Lots of great memories made!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful home. The outdoor area has nice patio furniture, a big grill, and a hammock. The appliances and furniture are in good condition. The beds are a little small, but manageable for us. The listing says 4 bathrooms, but there are only 3 toilets and 2 tub/showers that we could find, which was very disappointing. The best part of the property is the location. 5 blocks to the lake and 6 blocks to Captain Lou’s! The proximity to downtown means there is a lot of traffic and street parking on busy days, but with 2 driveways there should be plenty of parking. We all appreciated the way the rental info was displayed in frames on the wall, including beach safety tips!

My son and his family are moving to Colorado, so we wanted to gather as a family prior to their move. This was a wonderful place for all ages. The house is located in a spot that is central to the town and the beach. Very clean and comfortable. Loved South Haven !

This is the third home we have rented in South Haven and this was also our favorite. Extremely clean, great set up of home, and perfect location. Quick walk to downtown for a coffee or stroll to beach for a sunset. Will be back!

We had 9 in our group & everyone immensely enjoyed their stay in South Haven. The house was just as the pictures showed. Those who had used VRBO before said they’ve never had a place look just as good as the pictures showed! It was within walking distance to the beach, a great park for the kids & downtown. The hosts, Sean & Sarah, were very easy to contact & quick to respond to our requests. Our 4 year old granddaughter wanted to live there forever with all 9 of us! We would definitely book again for a large group.

Walkable to the beach and town. We enjoyed the short stroll to the farmer’s market twice during our stay! Easy check-in and check-out. First time to South Haven and we found it charming and extremely easy to get around. House was well appointed. Sarah and Sean were super easy to work with!

It was a nice family vacation get away. The house was clean and updated. Home owner was easy to contact. Location was great; close to down town and to the beach! An extra shower/bathroom would have been nice since we had 12 people in the house and a bigger yard but we still had a great time! South Haven is definitely family friendly.

We really enjoyed being only a short walk to town and equal distance to South Beach. The house itself is very nice and provided plenty of space for our family!

Enjoyed a long weekend away with another couple. Wonderful location, walking distance to town and a great selection of restaurants and shops. Walk to the beach easily and lots of biking and walking available. Great break from this crazy year. Everyone taking all the needed precautions to prevent the spread of this crazy virus.

Overall very happy with the stay. The house is only couple years old and well maintained. The location is great too if you want to be close to the downtown. The only “disappointment” was the size of the bedrooms. They were all ok size for two people but we travelled with a toddler and fitting pack and play plus a luggage was a challenge. Typically I would expect a larger room for the master bedroom. But as I mentioned above everything else was great and if we can figure out better sleeping arrangements for our kid, we will be back.

Nice location to downtown and beach. Newer home that was tastefully decorated. We had a party of 8. Had plenty of space and fun. Owners were great. Full bath on 1st Floor. One and a half bathrooms on 2nd floor. Our teenagers enjoyed the bunk bedroom.

First, the hosts: Sean and Sarah were fantastic. They explained everything quite clearly to ensure no surprises, accommodated a few special requests, and replied quickly when needed (just once). Perfect. The house: Being new construction, everything was upgraded and very, very nice. It was also perfectly clean and accommodating for our group (6 adults + 5 kids ranging from 2-7). All of the littles shared the bunk bed room while adults enjoyed a separate bedroom per couple. The patio + hammock behind the house was also fantastic with great shade in the evenings. A perfect way to unwind after a long day at the beach while grilling up some dinner. The location: Located equidistant from the beach and downtown, the house never had us more than a ~10 minute walk from the action. Whether it be a patio for lunch, the splash-pad for some evening fun, or a trip to the beach for a full day of fun, walking was always an option (though not always what we decided to do--driving to the beach with all of our gear + kids was a better fit for us). There's also a huge field across the street that gave the kids a chance to run out any remaining energy before dinner. All in all, we loved Sean & Sarah along with their beautiful home. It was perfect for our getaway.

We had a great time in South Haven and this house worked great for our group. Very clean with great proximity to town and beach. Some things to note...be sure to keep a close watch for cars driving down the side road if you have littles playing in the yard (some speed past, but most slowed when they saw kids outside). Also, plan to bring any beach towels, beach chairs or toys for the kids, as those are not supplied. Everything else is fully stocked! Last item to note is that there while there are 3 bathrooms, there are only 2 showers. It worked fine with our group of 11, but might be helpful to know for others. The home owners were great to work with and very responsive! We cannot wait for our next trip to South Haven!

Having spent many summers at South Haven and stayed in many different locations, this was one of the best for our family.

This home was perfect for our family. It is newer construction, so everything was fresh and modern. Plenty of towels and a well stocked kitchen made for easy living. The location is close enough to walk to beach or downtown, but still in a quiet area. Our family made great memories there.

We came to South Haven for the first time for a 4 day getaway. We stayed here and the whole family loved it. House is clean and nicely appointed. Plenty of kitchen items to prepare large family meals. We loved the proximity to downtown and the beach and walked to both daily. Sean and Sarah are very accommodating and easy to work with. We’ll definitely be back!!

Everything from start to finish was so easy and the house was beautiful and so clean! Our family consisted of age 8 through Grandpa and Grandma and it accommodated all of us so well! Sean and Sarah met us to explain everything and were great to communicate with throughout the process. The home was well supplied with newer appliances and lots of cooking utensils and dishes. It is so convenient to the shops in town and to the beach and we all would recommend the home to anyone visiting beautiful South Haven!

The house was gorgeous and beautifully decorated. It was comfortable for all twelve of us (7 kids and 5 adults). Centrally located for south beach and the downtown area.

My family spent a few nights in south haven over blueberry fest. The house was great. The owners met us and went over everything in the house as well as gave us a bunch of recommendations on things to do and places to eat. We rented a boat one day, which was so great! House is in the best location. Just a few blocks to downtown. We had a great time!!

We just came back from a week long stay at this house with my family of 5 (3 kids, ages 8, 5, 3) and my 2 parents. The house was the perfect size for us and my parents loved having a bedroom on the main floor so they didn't have to go up and down the stairs. The house is clean and very well kept and the owners were very friendly, organized and communicative! Location was great as well, walking distance to downtown and just a few blocks from South beach. We loved our stay and would definitely consider going back again!

Cozey home located blocks away from all you would want to do. A nice walk takes you to the beach, or walkway around the water and park. Lots of shops restaurants and the book store is a must! On the weekend there is an Open market in the center of town. We truly enjoyed our visit the home was very comfortable, and accommodating.

Two families rented this house for the weekend. 4 adults and 6 kids. The house had plenty of room both inside and out. Two driveways to handle parking both vehicles and trailers. Bedrooms were not large, but large enough to fit our families. Kids room with two bunk beds was perfect for the 3 and up crowd. Kitchen was well equipped and BBQ outside worked well. Side patio was a plus for keeping the kids off the front yard away from weekend traffic. We walked downtown with ease and drove to the beach on our beach days. Would recommend this place and would come back if our party size does not change. Thank you for providing an eclxceptional "home base" for our Sourh Haven vacation.
