From the beginning, the house was well appointed and had more than everything we needed to have a wonderful time at the beach - beach chairs, bikes, beach toys. The owner was very responsive and provided very good details about check-in, etc. The only thing I will say is that we were 3 families so it would have been nice to have a bathroom in both of the king bed rooms.

We absolutely loved staying at Gail’s beautiful house. It has the perfect amount of bedrooms and bathrooms so all 9 of us were very comfortable. The living space also offered amble room to hang out and eat together. The house itself is very updated with a great screened in porch in the front. The only negative (there was one!) was that the house is on a corner and the Main Street can be pretty noisy in the morning. The walk to the beach took us about 7-10 minutes or so each way but they had a cart to easily bring all of our gear. The walk into Bethany’s little downtown was also very pleasant and quick! When we return to Bethany Beach we would definitely stay here again!

We love the location, it’s close but not too close, and the house is filled with all you can possibly need for a beach trip. Strongly recommend this house.

Property is newly renovated and lots of space to gather for our family! Really enjoyed the screened front porch for dining and not too far from the beach. Home away from home and very clean!

We’ve come two years in a row now and love staying here. It’s a wonderful layout for family and friends. They have everything you need for the beach in the way of chairs, boogie boards, etc. and the home is nicely appointed with plenty of room and outdoor space.

This was a great property. Easy to get to, great location. The space was beautiful, open, and very accommodating for all of us. We spent much of our time on the screened-in porch and truly enjoyed every moment of the stay

We loved the location, not too close, and definitely not too far, from the beach and boardwalk. The house itself is beautiful and very new inside and out. There is lots of beach stuff in the garage. Lots of room for everyone in our group. I will definitely try to stay here again.

Gail was very easy to communicate with and super responsive. Their house was perfect for our families. A lot of living space, open kitchen and a great front porch. It’s on a nice street and a great part of the beach. The walk was a little long just because we had toddlers with us but VERY easy 3min drive with ample parking!! We had a great trip.

We had not stayed on this side of Bethany before but were very pleasantly surprised with how much we like it. The walk to her house is easy and with a parking pass it is great to drive chairs down as there is residential parking next to beach. The house is well stocked with beach chairs and umbrellas. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Highly recommend the house. It is spacious and recently renovated.

Gail and Ed were extremely helpful from the moment we booked. Very approachable and accommodating. We were two families of five and the house was perfectly comfortable for all. We’ll be back!

My family of 4 adults and 1 two-year old stayed here for a week in July and had a great time. The screened in porch was fantastic (especially on rainy days). The house was fully stocked with backpack beach chairs and beach toys. The house was very spacious and we never felt cramped. You do have to cross route 1 to get to the beach but it was never an issue for us..it was either a 5 minute drive or 10-15 minute walk to both the beach and downtown bethany. The location was perfect other than the fact that the house resides on Kent Ave which I would consider to be a busy street. You do hear cars driving by when you are inside of the house (mostly from the bedrooms upstairs unfortunately). We did get used to this but it was definitely noticable. Despite this, the owner was very responsive with a few other concerns we had initially and I would recommend this property.

We loved Bethany Beach and we will more than likely return someday. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We also appreciated the beach equipment in the garage. The only thing that we would have liked better is if we were a little closer to the beach.

The house was clean, well laid out and close to the beach. We were there with my son, his wife and my two grandchildren and there were lots of books and games. The kitchen was large and well equipped. There were also lots of beach chairs, boards and a bicycle which we used. In all it was very close to the shops in Bethany, to restaurants and to the beach so we had a very good time.

Overall the house is in great shape and well maintained. Convenient location, easy walk to the beach and boardwalk. Quick drive to food store. Nice family atmosphere to the town. All my kids had a blast.

We had a wonderful week with our family. The house is very spacious, and an easy walk to a beautiful beach. We enjoyed the biking and beach (especially the 4th of July fireworks). Everything we needed was right there, and in good condition. I especially appreciated the lack of "personal clutter" in the house. It felt more like our own home during our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this rental. It was a good value for the price. We had nine adults staying in the house and would have had trouble fitting any more people. It was a short walk to the beach and close enough to downtown Bethany, the trolley and local stores to make them accessible. We enjoyed many dinners on the large shaded deck in the back.
