This lovely home was exactly as advertised, and even better. It worked perfectly for our family with two younger children. It's new, it's clean, it's modern, it's right on the water, it's a gorgeous space, there is no reason to not stay here. It was so close to Baxter/Brainerd, it's not even a conisderation otherwise. The bunkbed room worked perfectly to have two young kids excited to share a room "in a new place." The kitchen is well stocked. The beds were comfortable. Being so close to the water is amazing. Plus the owner made it very easy to book and communicate. Loved it all and look forward to staying here again soon!

We had a wonderful time. The house is one of the most well appointed properties we’ve ever stayed at. We’ve rented several VRBOs around town and this is one we’d for sure stay at again.
We had a lovely fire by the lake and enjoyed the call of the loons. The view of the fall colors were incredible. The house was beautifully decorated and had all the comforts of home. Our contact person was super nice and helpful.

Leslie is my favorite - she provides a top notch vacation home. We had another wonderful time on Gull Lake. The location can’t be beat and the house has everything you need. It’s clean and beautiful. The full length patio doors offer a beautiful view of the lake. I would not hesitate to recommend and will be reserving again.

Absolutely perfect for us. We plan to stay again. The property was cute, clean, and the lake quality was great. We loved the proximity to Ernie’s. The pontoon availability at the dock was so convenient. House was stocked with everything we needed. Grill was really dirty from previous renters but a little elbow grease and we had that cleaned right up. Thanks Lesley! See you next year. Dawn

This is a great house, with all the amenities. It is in a great location with easy access to Ernie's next door for drinks, lunch, and dinner. The fire pit is awesome in the evenings, and it was so convenient to have the option of the boat. Would definitely recommend and will be back!

Great place for families. Very clean and up to date. Our favorite was having access to a pontoon. Gull lake is beautiful. Definitely will be back.

We loved our time at the cabin. The cabin was very clean, the layout is perfect and had everything we needed. The really nice treat was the location, right next to Ernie’s which had great food and live music!

We loved our stay at this property. The location was perfect to either get places via boat or driving. The cottage itself had everything we could need and a beautiful view right on the lake. Leslie was very responsive to any questions we had and provided numerous unexpected amenities - fire pit wood, s’mores Ingredients, etc. we would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our 2nd stay at the Cottages on Gull Lake. Leslie was very responsive. Having Ernie's next door for dinner was awesome. Highly recommend.

Exceptional experience
The property was exactly as described and the perfect space for our family of 5. The kids enjoyed kayaking, swimming and the paddle boards. The restaurant next door has a neat vibe to it. The dock for our boat was amazing. The kids also fished off the dock. It’s also just a short trip into town for mini golf and go carts and the neatest coffee shop and ice cream/candy shop in an old train railway. We could have stayed way longer. Only suggestion I’d tell future renters is bring your water shoes if you want to walk around the beach area, there are a few rocks and some sharp weeds, but all of that is to be expected at a lake. :)

We had a great time at the cottage. Leslie was great to work with and was very prompt with replies. The cottage was cute, clean and well decorated. The pontoon was great. We spent both days on the water. We will definitely be back!

Very nice place right on the waterfront! Had everything we needed for a relaxing stay and awesome pontoon to rent! Leslie was very quick to respond to any questions and would highly recommend these cottages for families or a couple getaway!

Perfect Location on Gull
Couldn’t be happier with our stay at this cabin. This year was our 4th year at this location. The kids love playing on the beach, riding the pontoon or running to the playground at Ernies.

Great getaway
Really nice updated property with all the modern conveniences of life, but at the lake. Well stocked with things like towels, dishes, cleaning supplies, etc. Highly recommend booking if you are considering!

In the middle of Gull Lake
Terrific location on a peninsula in the middle of Gull. We watched the lake day and night. Easy access to the lake from the dock; loved stargazing from the bench at the end of the dock.

A little slice of heaven.
One one word: Amazing! Leslie is an absolutely amazing host. We stayed in Cottage 1. Cutest nautical decor. Extra special touch with a fun little welcome basket. All the amenities. Gas grill. Cornhole boards. We brought our boat up but next year we are going to rent the one for the property. It was a great family getaway. Would recommend this Property to anyone.

Awesome lake cottage!
The lake cottage was every bit as advertised. The open concept was very nice. Leslie was a great host. The welcoming basket was a very nice touch. The cottage was very clean and the amenities were very very nice. We enjoyed the being located close to Ernies. The neighborhood was very safe for early morning runs. We brought our own pontoon so the boat slip was very nice (and large) so we didn't have to trailer all the time. We will definitely be back!

First let me start by saying Leslie is an amazing host. She is super responsive and will respond right away! This is the cutest little cabin on the lake and has everything you need. Our 4 year old loved playing in the sand and going on the boat. Seriously great place! We will be back!!

Our Stay
The cottage was extremely clean and very well organized. It fit our family of 5 perfectly. The only downside was my kids all got swimmers itch from swimming in the lake.

Fantastic cabin with all the amenities
Best spot we’ve ever stayed on MN lakeshore. Location is great, next to Ernie’s. Inside furnishing and design is beautiful and the outside amenities like kayaks, paddleboards, dock for fishing and swimming, fire pit, pontoon boat rental made this such an awesome vacation for our family of five (kids 3, 6, 8) and two grandparents. Definitely coming back again next summer!

Always enjoy staying at the cottages. Five plus stars for accommodations
Very clean and right next to Ernies for those nights when you are to lazy to cook after a day on the lake. A great dock to tie your boat up to or sit and enjoy the scenery on the lake. We've stayed here multiple times and will be back again soon.

Family vacation for 6
Leslie is the absolute best. She has thought of everything to make a vacation perfect. This was the 1st family vacation in 5 years and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The location is beautiful and Leslie had a thoughtful welcome on the counter for us. The home is very clean and the amenities are top notch! When it was time to check out my husband said “we’re not leaving”
