We absolutely love this cabin and its location. We can fush and float all we want to. You can sit on the front porch and see osprey and moose just to nane a few things. We had a wonderful time.

Perfect for two families, with two masters on the main floor and plenty of space upstairs for the kids. Could use a stockpile of cooking supplies spices/oil etc. as other than salt and pepper there wasn’t anything. Couldn’t use the back patio at all as the mosquitos were so bad that we were afraid to open the doors as they invaded the house anytime we did. But that is no fault of the house itself.
Great location with restaurants and stores nearby but still felt isolated.

We had a fantastic vacation at this place. We spent hours sitting on the back porch talking with the folks floating down the river, watching wildlife ( a moose visiting us every day), fly fishing, and just enjoying one of the best overall views on the planet. Half hour from Yellowstone and grocery, gas right down the road. Hosts are beyond five star, and have thoughtfully provided everything you need. Be sure to read the Cabin binder, that provides a history of the property.

Best spot in the Yellowstone area
We have stayed in every cabin from wapiti, WY to Island Park, ID to Pray, MT over 17 yrs Its the best spot out there! Incredible fishing. Moose everywhere. As good as it gets!

location, location, location
The cabin is rustic, we called it glamping. But it had everything we needed and was comfortable. The location was peaceful and secluded. We saw several moose, birds, and ducks. We plan to stay here again.

Fantastic Stay
Beautiful property in a great location

Late August in Idaho
There were plenty of beds for our party of eight, with two bedrooms in the main cabin, a one bedroom annex, and a bunk house. Like other historic properties where we have staid, the two bathrooms were small, but the hot water did not run out. The overall feel was cozy, and the setting is gorgeous.
We saw moose and osprey from the cabin, and enjoyed sitting on the front porch waving to those kayaking and rafting the river. We visited Yellowstone and a local waterfall, and rafted down the river.

"A Little Bit Of Heaven"
Our stay at this jewel on the river invigorates us! We spend the rest of the year planning for the time when get to come back. The view out the window is like nothing you will experience anywhere else. We love it!

Great place for a family gathering
We loved staying at this cabin to celebrate my dad's 60th birthday! We enjoyed fishing from the bank in front of the cabin in the morning & evening. We also kayaked and paddle boarded to and from the cabin. The 2 kids under 4 really enjoyed the playset. We had 4 families coming together and there was more than enough room to park and spread out. This was a nice, charming cabin for us to get together!

Favorite cabin
We love this cabin. Being right on the river is the best ever. We watched moose, beaver, muskrat, osprey and fished tons. It was wonderful.

Great location
With 8 adults, 6 of which were couples and one senior adult, sleeping arrangements were difficult. The stairs going up to the 2nd floor bedroom were narrow and a bit tough to navigate with a heavy suitcase. We thoroughly enjoyed the location. The bedroom above the garage had spiders. The canoe and kayaks were a bonus that we really enjoyed. We had searched for a moose in Yellowstone, only to get to the cottage and find one right across the river!! Mike was very informative and we really enjoyed visiting. He gave us great ideas of places to go and see.

Queen of the River
This was our 8th year at this beautiful spot. I wish there were a way to preserve it forever. My grandchildren spend hours canoeing and fishing on the river and I never worry about their safety. They become free range children - a wonderful adventure for them.

This is our all time favorite rental for family gatherings. Owners and manager are amazing. The history of the cabin gives it a wonderful feel, and the location is so peaceful with the river right there at your door. Lots of fun memories and time together

2nd time
Lots of fishing this trip, with several catches. We celebrated my son's birthday and had a moose calf join us across the river. This was our second time and won't be our last.

We have stayed in many places in this area. But this little cabin is the best I’ve seen yet.
Loved it!!

Beautiful
We had a great time fishing and enjoying family. The is cabin rustic and very fitting for the setting. My son caught his first fish and was elated as he had an audience. My children slept like a dream. The grounds keeper was knowledgeable about the area and gave great recommendations. Even with a rainy day we had room to play games and relax with a warm fire. Lots of wildlife we got to see with a front row seat.

Location is great
This is our third time of renting property. The area is wonderful. The cabin is older but well maintained. Bathrooms are small but meet our needs.
Porch is great to sit on and watch the river. Great for getting on and off the river. Cant say enough about the location. This is the place if you want a good location on the river. None better.
Owners and property manager have been great to work with.
We want to continue using this property for future stays.

The location of this cabin is absolutely wonderful
We love being right on the river. We watched moose, cranes, pelicans, osprey and lots of other birds daily. It was a great place to get out of the river for float trips and you can fish right from the cabin. A very fun place to stay.

A little piece of heaven.
Great cabin in a perfect spot right on the river. The cabin is rustic and old, but that exactly what we expected and what we wanted. No bathrooms in the guest houses was the only thing that was a problem. Other than that, it was a perfect vacation.

Queen of the River
This was our 6th year and we always have a great time. Such a beautiful spot! My grandchildren if given the choice of this place or Disneyland, would take the cabin every time!

a Treasure!!
This old family cabin is fabulous!! The location can't be beat. We had moose visiting us on the front porch. We enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again. Everything is in great condition and clean for being an old cabin in the woods, the layout of the cabin is weird at first but you get used to it. We had plenty of room and everyone could find a quiet corner if they desired. The beds were comfortable and sheets and towels were clean and fresh. The bathrooms are small but we weren't there for a spacious bathroom, we were there to be outside!!

Surrounded by Nature
The living room looks out on the most beautiful stretch of Henry's Fork. The fish are active with osprey, pelicans and cormorants in the air all through the day.
The cabin was well outfitted, very attractive and comfortable.

Fantastic view
This is a very old cabin but well maintained and with all the comforts you need. When they say on the river it is steps away from the river and a great fishing hole.
Even had a moose come up on the deck the first morning to visit us.

Peaceful Family Getaway
The location is fantastic - just steps away from the river, and close to Yellowstone. Check-in and check-out were easy, and property manager stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed. The kids loved the play structure (with swings) and fire pit for s’mores. A great vacation!

Piece of Heaven
This historic cabin is well-maintained and full of character. Nowhere else on the river puts you so near to the water. As the river bends, the privacy provides shelter for blue herons, moose, minks, and more. Osprey nest in plain sight. To us, this place is a "piece of Heaven". Every year we hope to be here a few days longer to feel its peace.

Peaceful and pristine setting
Rare peaceful setting in the shade of the pines along Henry’s fork just downstream from Big Springs. So much history here. It feels like home away from home even when you first walk in the door. Owner and manager both very helpful and everything was perfect.

Amazing views and Wildlife
Our stay at the riverside cabin was incredible. My boys loved using the kayaks and canoe's that were part of the cabin, and the views from the front porch were incredible. The cabin was nice and clean. The fire pit was huge so we had great fires at night. The wildlife was the most amazing! We had a mama and baby moose that we would see often. Mike the caretaker was always available with any questions we had about the cabin or the area. The only recommendation I would make is one more garbage can, and the yard could have been mowed. I would definetly y stay here again!

Lovely Riverside Cabin
This is our second year at this historic cabin. The location is the best in Island Park. Plenty of sleeping room, access to kayaks and a canoe made it so easy to spend a lot of time on the river.
Thanks for such a lovely vacation!

Very peaceful & serene !!
We had a very nice family vacation at this cabin on snake river. It was very beautiful and very peaceful. At first we were disappointed that there was no TV, but it turned out to be great we played games, sat around the fire pit talked and laughed it was great getting off the grid. Just spending time with the family and nature.
