Property is convenient, clean and comfortable. Each bedroom accommodates a family or coupe friends and a private bath. Loved the use some leave some approach. Only thing we would improve upon is lighting.

The home was perfect! Super comfortable, beautiful views, great hot tub and excellent location near the Vail bus. We loved our weekend there and the owners were SO easy to communicate with. Two thumbs up!

This property was ideally located in East Vail. Easy access to everything. Our hosts, Katie and Brian, were remarkable. Great place to stay with either family or friends. We couldn’t have been more pleased.

We just had such a fantastic time on our Vail vacation! The well-appointed, high end accommodations and thoughtful amenities at Bighorn House not only met, but exceeded our expectations. Richard was truly an amazing host. He was extremely helpful and responsive to any and all questions or concerns that arose both before and during our stay, providing assistance and helpful tips on skiing and what’s available in the area, as well as recommendations on where to eat and shop (definitely need to make any dinner reservations ahead of your arrival). The home lends itself well to groups or multiple families, as each “master” bedroom upstairs has a loft providing extra sleeping accommodations, and an en-suite bathroom. The lower level bedroom also has an en-suite, with two bunk beds; one with top and bottom singles, and one with a single top and double lower bed. The beds were extremely comfortable and the plush white towels enhanced that end of day hot shower. There are lots of extra blankets and pillows, and plenty of storage. The washer/dryer came in handy to refresh ski gear mid week. The heated kitchen and entryway floor is a welcome touch first thing in the morning, and the hot tub is easily accessed right outside the back door. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, with most anything you need should you want to prepare meals. I recommend you hold off going to the grocery (or only pick up your perishables) until you have a chance to check out the condiments, spices and refreshments (there’s an extra fridge in the garage), cleaning and laundry products, and things like ziplock bags that are available for your use, with the expectation that you replace whatever you do use up. This is such a great concept as it definitely helps cut down on your grocery bill, and you’re not tossing perfectly good non-perishables at the end of your stay. You can’t beat the convenience of the Town of Vail free bus - the bus stop is a very short walk to the right out the door and just left at the end of the driveway. You can text “Nbus Vail 953” to 41411 to find our when the next bus arrives before heading out the door. We’ll be back and definitely will not hesitate to book Bighorn House again. Could not have been happier with the property, it had absolutely everything we could have wanted. Owners were fantastic and responsive. We will be staying here again!

Location is great, lots of comfortable places to sleep, amenities were all great, and owner was very communicative & helpful. Would recommend to anyone and stay again myself!

The owners communicated very well for any needs/questions during our stay. The house had all of the necessities for an awesome ski house! We had just as much fun at the house as skiing at Vail. The shuttle stop is super close and convenient. We would would book another stay any day without question!

Stayed here to check out this property to host a wedding group in October. Beautiful home with amazing art, rooms, and views. We hiked a trail nearby and saw plenty of wildlife including the friendly fox that visits the house. The hot tub was the cherry on top of the weekend trip... we hardly got out of it! Lots of room for guests to spread out so no one is on top of each other. The house was fully stocked with everything you would ever think of needing including board games, kitchen tools, cooking ingredients, and lots of extra bedding. Could not recommend this place more!
