The location of the property is great. The interior has been remodeled, the kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. The sky light in the living room leaks when it rains, the owner knows and is trying to get this addressed. The lower deck and stairs down to the lake are not in good shape and not very safe, especially after dark (I saw there were other comments on this as well) Our biggest issue was the access from the road; it has a very steep driveway which is not disclosed in the listing. We got our truck down the driveway the first day and with 4 wheel drive we barely managed to get it back up the incline. That meant walking up and down a very steep gravely hill every time we went out. I have replacement joints and it was not very safe for me. There are no handrails and it is poorly lighted. This is ok, but should be disclosed up front.

What a Great Lake view! We really enjoyed the house and the dock for fishing. The location was fantastic as it’s close to convenience store, grocery, gas and restaurants. The mattresses in guest rooms probably time to update, the master was comfy. The outdoor furniture time to update as well. We had all we needed in the kitchen for our bbq night. Overall it was great and we would stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family weekend there. The home was pleasant, very clean, and overall a sweet place to stay. The inside looked to be newly updated. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The plates, glassware and silverware were nice. Great views. The outdoor lighting on the side of the house and on the front of the lower deck was an issue. They weren’t working. It made the stairway entrance/landing off the side of the deck unsafe at night, not being able to see that first step. Several in our group tripped on that first step in the dark. Thankfully no one fell and got seriously injured. Also the lights on the front of the lower deck weren’t working. These lights were supposed to light the pathway around the front to the dock. So It was dark there also, making it a risk. The manager was contacted about the exterior lighting problem. He told me where the switches were for the lower deck lights. I tried them but they didn’t work. He also told me the lights on the side of the house didn’t work. He did not offer nor indicate they’d be repaired. The deck was covered with debris from the trees. We tried to blow it off, but no extension chord, so we swept it off. The lower level of your deck is amazing and really should be developed. There are leaks under the kitchen sink and main bathroom sink. There was decent communication, I just wish the exterior lights had all worked. A fish cleaning station on the dock would be a nice addition.

Overall, the place is nice. Loved the view. It rained all one day and the roof leaks in the living room a little. I brought some laundry soap and used when I washed the towels, but it would encourage people to properly wash the towels if soap were available.

Overall it was a good property. Older home that has had very nice remodeling done inside, especially the kitchen area. Outside deck, stairs to dock, and landscaping needs some work, but overall it was pretty much as presented. Our 2 grandsons loved the basement room with the bunk beds...they thought they had their own little apartment. Driveway was steep and very challenging, but we managed.

We have stayed at multiple properties at the Lake and this home has the best views of any of them. Thanks for sharing your place with us. We will be back!

Myself 48F, my mom 71F, and my aunt 73F stayed Saturday to Friday and loved the main living area (kitchen, living room, dining table) that had floor to ceiling windows and 2 sliding glass doors to access the deck. Interior was very clean, beds were comfortable, and kitchen was very well stocked with pots/pans, mixing bowls, Pyrex, and most any cooking utensil you could need. Gas station/convenience store 1/2 mile from house, Wood’s grocery store (less than 2 miles), several restaurants, a couple dispensaries, and other stores within 3-4 miles, and a very nice indoor community pool for lap swimming and water aerobics in Laurie. We rented the Tritoon and it was the perfect size for this lake and stable even with choppy water. Like many lake houses, the sections of the house are on split levels. Garage has several steps down to bedroom/bathroom level, then several steps down to the main living area & deck, then several steps down to the lower level (bunk room, 2nd living area, and laundry room). Not full flights of stairs - more like 10 steps. There is a full flight of steps from the deck to the boat dock. It worked great for us and 2 dachshunds but I would caution anyone that struggles with stairs. Families with toddlers would definitely want to bring 2-3 baby gates. For people with dogs, they will absolute love the deck views, both inside and outside! The 1/2 mile from the house up to Road 5 is a quiet - great for walking dogs. Large grassy space at Scallywags RV park, too.

It was awesome! I wanted a relaxing peaceful weekend with family and that’s what I received. Location is great, right on the lake. I’m in awe from the views! Neighbors are respectful of your privacy but nice as pie! The two decks are spacious and comfortable patio sets. Omg the kitchen and outside grill are the best, perfect layout and a chef’s dream! Captain Ron’s bar and grill is right on the water and the service is excellent! Delicious food and really good drinks! Views are very great! We took pictures with the pirate ship too! We loved our stay and hope to return!!!❤️❤️❤️

Cozy house on a quiet part of the lake. Plenty of stuff nearby though. Would recommend.

We love this property! The view is beautiful, and the Owners have always been easy to work with. This has become our place to go each December to celebrate our Anniversary. Already looking forward to next year!

We have been coming to the Ozarks every year and always stayed at different locations. This place has by far exceeded any place we’ve stayed. The view is outstanding.

The positives can't be easily duplicated. The location in the no wake cove is amazing. The deck is great, and the house overall is nice. There were some negatives. There is very limited parking as there is just a small driveway to go down to the house crammed in between two other houses. No street parking. The house smelled musty when we got there and had to leave windows open and air it out for several hours. The outside of the house was very dirty with cobwebs everywhere, walkways needing swept, etc. A lot of the outside lights don't work, so had to be careful walking at night. The check-in process was confusing as you have to contact a different person when you get there than who you have been communicating with to get a code. Overall I gave a 4 star, but with a little bit of TLC I would rate it a 5.

We enjoyed our stay at the property which was actually bigger than I had anticipated. The driveway to garage is very steep though. You cannot see the property from the round about at end of cul de sac because the property is set down closer to lake. We were in town for a wedding with lots of family staying on the lake in houses nearby. As a result, we didn’t actually spend much time at the house. The owner had sent an email months in advance of our stay warning us of excessive noise or any such nonsense… this was a little offensive as we are very good guests, but to be fair to owner bad guests can ruin things for future guests and make the owner wary. Consequently, it was just easier to hangout with others. My only other issue was a dishwasher full of dishes - it has been run, but looked it was loaded by a five year old: everything piled, pans with eggs still stuck to interior. So I had to scrub and re-wash everything. So owner might want to have a talk with cleaning crew. But

Close to Captain Ron’s, beach was perfect for our littles. Trip over to Jolly Rodgers for the Treasure Hunt Excursion! Highly recommend! Grandkids loved it, afterwards we enjoyed a fabulous buffet! Took the pontoon out one day for sightseeing from the lakeside. Went to Margaritaville, and pulled into a cove for some swimming.

The owner and property manager were very quick to communicate, thorough and accurate. Easy check in process. We rented the pontoon as well as a lilypad and 3person tube. That process was smooth and easy and made the stay even better. The view from the property and wraparound deck was incredible and we used it every morning and evening. Beds were comfortable and the basement bunk bed setup was perfect for the younger kids. The AC worked really well and kept the place cool in 95+ degree heat and humidity. The house was well appointed with all of the kitchen supplies we needed as well as spices and coffee filters, gas for the grill and plenty of kindling for the firepit. The location of the property was amazing. incredible views and easy access via boat or car to nearby restaurants and grocery store. the house is on a quieter part of the lake and in a no-wake arm - which made boating easy and made swimming off the dock enjoyable. The neighbors were great as well! This house is a fantastic value for the price we paid. the only improvements I would suggest is that the house was a little musty and that impacted our allergies, and the deck/stairs is a little worn, but we were careful and make sure the kids wore sandals. also make sure to bring your own shampoo, otherwise you dont need to bring much to the house. Location, views, and layout of the property were all perfect!

This property was perfect for our family vacation. We have a family cabin on the water in Wisconsin and we were looking for a place that was similar but without the 8-9 hour drive. The steep driveway and stairs were the only things we could have done without, but it seems in the Lake of the Ozarks, that’s hard to avoid. Once checked in we realized the refrigerator wasn’t working. The homeowner was aware of the issue and had been trying to get it working, but wasn’t having much luck. The property did have a second refrigerator on the lower level and he did compensate us for the inconvenience. Our family loved this property and hope to stay again soon.

The property is in the perfect location. It is in a no wake cove just down from Captain Ron’s. Close to the Cave and other popular resorts. Driving to resorts was close as well as by water. Everything was great even renting the owners pontoon. My only suggestion would be for curtains to block the morning sun while on vacation but that is a personal wish. The only other thing is the decks could have been power washed for debris and cobwebs

This was an anniversary/birthday vacation with my parents; however, this rental was very disappointing. The description and pictures are misleading. PRO’s – House is located on a dead-end street. The check in process was smooth. The kitchen/master bath/hall bath are nice. The view is beautiful. CON’s – The driveway is extremely steep, backing in is the best option. You could park on the road, but the only way to access the house is to go down driveway. I know that this isn’t something that the owner can fix, but worth mentioning. The house smelled like soured towels/carpet. When walking into the kitchen area, we walked into several cobwebs hanging from the rafters. Due to smell and cobwebs, bedding was stripped and washed. Towels smelled like they had been left in the washer to long before drying. The furniture in the living room had seen better days, wasn’t furniture shown in the pictures. Outlet covers on the floor were broke. No TVs in the guest bedrooms. The doorknob mechanisms were installed incorrectly on the hall bath/guest bedroom doors, causing them to get stuck. Per previous reviews spanning from 2019-2022, mattresses needed replaced; the deck & dock had rotten boards/nails sticking up & needed repaired/replaced. Sadly, none of these issues have been addressed/taken care of. The outside of the house is a mess, with wires hanging about, broken lights/bulbs, missing light bulbs. Uneven steps to lake No fish cleaning station. Fire pit area leaves a lot to be desired.

This was a nice little surprise for my mom for Mother's Day. Very nice place and the view is perfect! The kithcen was fully equipped with everything that we needed.

Perfect area! Nice clean house, we had everything we needed there. We were disappointed we were not able to rent the boat, but found plenty of things to do.

The view from the deck is incredible and being in a no wake cove was perfect for kayaking and boating. We had a great family getaway, including our pup. Thank you for sharing your lakefront home with us!

The upper deck of this lake house has great views of the lake. It's in a busy cove due to Captain Ron's in the back of the cove. We were there Labor day weekend so it was extra busy. Got to see some really awesome boats though heading in and out. We really enjoyed sitting out on the private dock as well. The property inside was ok but could use some attention. As I do where ever I stay, I examine the coffee pot upon arrival. Coffee is very important in the morning and like to make sure the coffee brewer is clean and operable. It's pretty obvious that the cleaning crew did not check this because it was very dirty and didn't function. We let the property manager know and a new on was sitting on the deck the next morning. Other than that the kitchen area was very functionable. The mattress in the master was fairly comfortable but the other two could be upgraded. Some of the patio furniture needs replaced. The chairs for the round high top table were very wobbly and seemed unsafe. The patio cushions definitely needed to be replaced, very uncomfortable. The patio grill needed a deep cleaning to remove all the grease build up in the bottom. Found that out as we were grilling burgers one night. One other issue was the drain in the basement, laundry area. It kept overflowing, water standing in the laundry room floor. We were a party of four and was told that if we each took a shower back to back it would overflow which was very inconvenient if you're trying to get ready to go out to dinner after a day in the hot sun. Other than that, the owner and property manager were very nice and easy to deal with.
