Great condo, great location, provided great amenities

Our stay was very pleasant. They had all the amenities we needed. It was nice not having to buy all the beach equipment. It was in close walking distance to the beach and restaurants. My husband and I had an amazing time.

We had everything we needed for a relaxing 2 week stay, and were right across from a fabulous beach. Boogie boards and beach chairs? Yep, they’ve got em. Blender for beach cocktails and a cooler for snacks? Yep- drink and eat yourself into your happy place- just grab the umbrella out of the closet so you don’t end up a lobster. Sea turtles galore, and if you try to imitate their surfing but wipe out, the shower has good water pressure to get sand out of all the places. Done for the day? Sofa was a good crash spot for a few winks, and the bed is comfy enough. We cooked a lot, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Lanai was quiet and peaceful and the first floor unit is great. We had no needs, but the owner reached out to let us know he was available in advance. Great spot, great vacation- we will be back. Aloha.

Everything was great. Beautiful area with lots to do close by. Supplied many supplies for recreational activities. Great trip.

The owner has made sure you need nothing. The kitchen has everything you need to reduce cost by cooking in. I’m not sure I’ll ever stay anywhere else in Maui. Owners could take lessons from Dave.

Dave was an extremely responsive host and provided a lot of great information prior to our stay. With an entire "booklet" of things to do and places to see, it was very helpful! There were directions for the tv remotes and anything that could be possibly confusing. The location was fabulous-although we did do some driving and exploring, we spent most of the time at KAM II, which was just across the street and then walked the half a block to Fred's or Moose's for a bite to eat or drinks. The beach gear was very much appreciated and in great shape! We would definitely love to come back!

The very helpful owner gives us great value for a condo that fits our needs perfectly. It’s right across the street from one of many wonderful beaches that are all easily reached by walking or by a short drive. Many restaurants are also close by. We come here frequently.

This is such an absolutely beautiful property, we felt we were in the lap of luxury during our short stay at Kihei Akahi. The condo is spacious and expertly furnished with a designer's eye for detail. The little lanai is right on the garden side, where you will experience beautiful tropical trees like plumeria and palm, soft grass, and adorable little birds and geckos. You can wave hello to your neighbours across the grass, or just keep to yourselves. The unit is clean, spacious, provides beach chairs, umbrella and gear, and had lots of condiments and spreads to start you off, left by other guests and by the hosts. Be sure to check the condo before you shop at the nearby grocery stores! A wonderful, tub-sized shower with removable shower head provides all the room you need after a day out and about. The condo is located right across from a fantastic beach, and close to restaurants and stores. The two pools look great and well maintained - though we didn't go into them at all - we're beach people. The communication from Dave leading up to our stay was amazing. He is so vested in making sure guests have the best Maui experience, he goes above and beyond. When I let him know I was struggling to find accommodation for our first night on the island, he sent me suggestions and recommendations! The guide book provided by him and Tobi is excellent and detailed and provides several ideas for adventure and relaxation. We both highly recommend this property, and only wish it was available for more of our trip; it is the nicest place we've ever stayed in with Vrbo, and very affordable to boot. We hope it's available on our next trip to Maui! Mahalo, Dave and Tobi!

This property was outstanding! Nicely furnished, comfortable bed, and well stocked with everything you would need for a beach vacation. Umbrella, chairs, snorkel equipment, and floating noodles were provided. Kitchen was beautifully updated and well stocked with all dishes, pots and pans, and small appliances. There were plenty of extra towels available. It was so nice having the washer and dryer in the apartment! Location was so easy to walk across the street to the beach! Restaurants were right next to the property, and a small shopping center just one block's walk. Everything so easy to get to in this area of Kehei! We would definitely stay here in this property again. couple from Centreville, VA

The condo is well maintained, comfortable and contained everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The complex is quiet and beautifully kept. A convenient location for the beach, restaurants and shopping.

There was absolutely nothing we did not like about our stay at Kihei Akahi C105. Dave and Tobi have gone to extraordinary lengths to make sure our every want and need was met. Kihei Akahi is in an ideal location just opposite the wonderful KAM II beach and steps away from restaurants and a wide array of shopping opportunities. Yet, when in the condo or on the lanai, it is just a quiet oasis. There was nothing missing in the kitchen, so we were able to save a lot of money by preparing many of our own meals. Similarly, the array of beach gear met our every need. Perhaps the best thing dave & Tobi offer is a Guide to Maui that they prepared. This Guide enable us to get the most out of our stay!!!

This is our last morning in the Kihei Akahi condo. It has been home away from home. We have stayed in Akahi several times, and this is the nicest condo we have rented. It is comfortable, clean and very well appointed. The owner was super helpful and nice to communicate with. We very much enjoyed being on the ground floor with the beautifully landscaped grounds just off the lanai. We hope to return!

We loved our stay. The condo was spacious, comfortable and extremely well stocked with everything you will need for a comfortable stay, especially the kitchen. There were all the resources required to plan your time in Maui and enjoy the beach. We will definitely stay again if ever we are back in Maui.

The condo is very well equipped and the hosts are attentionate and make eveything from check-in to check-out clear and easy. We had an enchanting stay!

We really enjoyed our stay and David and Tobi’s hospitality was a big reason why. The unit is conviniently located steps away from Kam II, a perfect place for sunset. We were really grafeful for the extra amenities (beach gear). David and Tobi provided us a thorough guide to the island and it was more than we could ask for..extremely helpful! We would definitely like to return to Kihei in the future and highly recomend this place for any beach lovers!

This is a great location--right across the street from the beach. The condo is very nice and well equipped with everything we needed for the week, including info about Maui and the many things to do. Highly recommend it!!

This condo provided us with everything we could ask for. It was well appointed and well equipped. The kitchen especially was fully equipped including items like a coffee bean grinder and salad spinner. We are lovers of the beach, and all of the beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, towels and snorkel gear) was provided. We did not use the pool frequently, but it was just a ho, skip and a jump from the lanai door. We did use the pool area for barbecuing, and we were able to meet other great guests in the course of cooking. As far as location, Kihei Akahi is situated in an ideal spot. Not only is the beach just across the street, but we were also close to Fred's (great for breakfast and Mexican food) and Moose's (great happy hour and daily food specials). Just up the street from these two restaurants are several shopping plazas that offer everything from Subway to local dining to specialty shops and much more. Dave was an absolute pleasure to have as our host keeping all lines of communication open and providing us with a guide he developed to get the most out of our stay. If you make this condo your pick, you cannot go wrong!

Everything we needed and then some.

What a great gem!! The location was perfect for everything, eating, shopping and most important...Beach access. Loved the condo, had all the amenities you could ask for. It was great having access to the beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers. The bed was comfortable, the layout in the living room was nice, and having use of the WIFI was a plus. Will definitely be keeping this place in mind for our next visit.

This condo had everything we needed during our 10-day stay. Great central location, lots of beach gear, in-room laundry & supplies, stocked kitchen (staple goods), etc., etc., etc. I just wish we would have packed lighter!

This beautifully decorated condo offers everything you might need for a wonderful vacation stay. The kitchen is fully equipped and has high end cabinetry, appliances and granite countertops. Beach gear made our visits to the beach very comfortable. The location could not be better, Within the complex, it is close to the pool, tennis court and BBQ, and the lanai leads out onto a beautifully landscaped garden area. The beach is just opposite the complex, and C105 is one of the closer units within the complex to the beach. As far as dining or shopping, there are many options that will never require you to get in your rental car. The host was extremely helpful providing a myriad of information including a Guide to Maui that the host put together to help guests get the most out of their stay. You cannot go wrong by selecting this condo for your stay.

We loved the condo and all of the beach essentials that were provided! It was only two minutes from the beach and everything else you need to know is provided in the "guide" the hosts send you prior to the trip! We even used the road to Hana CD borrowed and it was a life saver. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back!

Very close to beach and has full gear for fun, snorkels, flippers, even bucket and shovel for baby. Very close to beach and to a couple of cool restaurants. Hosts were very kind and have a very useful guide explaining places to go around, for snorkeling and day trips. Recommended highly.

This condo is as it looks in the photos, very clean, quiet, and location to beach, restaurants and shopping, is excellent. The owners are very pleasant and very accomodating. We really enjoyed being across from Kamaoel Beach II, as we could easily come back to the condo for our lunch. Having the washer and dryer was most appreciated, and all the beach equipment was most useful. There was very good snorkling right off the beach, we seen several turtles and lots of fish. The evening sunset, at the beach,was wonderful to watch. It is a place we would definitly return to. Our month stay was awesome.

We recently vacationed in Maui for 1 month at the Kihei Akahi. What a wonderful vacation! We had the pleasure of meeting our owners who were outstanding! Aloha! We stayed here for 9 sunny days, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! This Condo rocks! It's conveniently located next to the ocean with many beaches to choose from, and central to a lot of places within driving distance. We found that the kitchen came in very handy as it saved us money rather than going out to eat all the time. The grocery store is not too far, and we made the best of it with the discount card and saved a lot of money. There were many times we just went to the beach and enjoyed the ocean and it's beauty. Wear sunscreen though, even if it looks a little cloudy. Also, don't forget to do a little site seeing - The Road to Hana was a great day trip! Wake up early and go and beat the rush - No need to take the tourist busses if you have a rental car. The Maui Winery isn't so bad of a drive either - They even sell their own elk burgers (freshly grilled daily) at their deli/store across the street and offer a free tasting and tour of the winery. If you compare renting this condo out to staying in a hotel, you probably won't get all the amenities for the price you pay at any hotel compared to staying here. So this condo is the perfect place to stay, and you can't beat that. We hope to come back some time in the future, as this was our first visit to Maui, but won't be our last! Mahalo, Ryan and Liz

Everything you need, this condo has it or is by it! My friend and I stayed for 2 weeks in this condo and we were more then impressed with the amenities and location this place had to offer. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking to stay in a condo rather then a hotel or resort. The location is perfect. You have the best beaches in Maui just minutes away in one direction and head the other way and in minutes you’ll be able to shop, eat and have drinks and yet you are just far enough away to not feel like you’re in some tourist trap. The condo is stocked with beach supplies as well as the usual comforts of home. When I return to Maui, I will most definitely be staying in this condo. I just hope it’s sooner then later!

I feel privileged to have been the first guest of the new owners! First of all, the owners are wonderful! I appreciated the excellent communication by phone and e-mail in a timely manner. They really went out of their way to make my experience the best. This condo is such a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. It's far enough from the road to be quiet and close enough for a quick stroll to one of the best beaches on Maui, Kamaole II. The condo was very clean and was well stocked with everything I needed to thoroughly enjoy my vacation. The location is perfect - an easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Can’t wait to return---excellent accommodations and I would highly recommend to everyone. This will be my choice for years to come!
