This is the second year we’ve stayed in this unit and we booked again for next year. It’s convenient to the place and slopes and has space for our family of seven.

It was comfortable, clean and the 'starter' amenities were abundant and plenty to get us through the long weekend. The management company was INCREDIBLY responsive. We loved being able to walk back to the condo for lunch during our ski day. The only reason I am not giving a 5 for 'property condition' is because the thermostat is outdated and difficult to use - 3 menopausal women need some serious temperature control :)

They all have to be replaced. The water is hard so the dishes do not get clean. Either the dishwasher is broken or it's the hard water that makes the dishes and silverware white with marks. The oven was disgusting and needs to be cleaned. It would be helpful to include the door code in the email instructions to get from the foyer to the elevator. After we arrived late from a long drive we had to call someone to get it.

Getting in and out of the unit from the front of the building was tricky without a code or key which we weren't given. The gym, pool, and hot tub were a nice addition - however, we were on the off-season so the open hours were not consistent. Great place to stay overall.

Condo is fully equipt for meals, games, lounging around. We all fit well in living room in front of the fire. View of the mountain from the condo is beautiful. We would consider coming back for the summer experience as well.

The only downside is how far the restaurants are. The restaurants in the village were closed due to the time of year we visited.

On arrival the code to get into the building did not work. The condo was very nice inside but didn’t seem like it had been cleaned properly. There were prices of popcorn on the carpet in the living room and dirty socks under the bed in the bunk bed room. The Master shower would not drain and smelled like sewer, called the property manager and sent out maintenance the following day to fix. The amenities were nice but the pool had limited seating and many broken chairs around the pool that were unusable.

We would've given this property five stars if the AC was working. We had to open the front door to get ac from the hallway because our unit was so hot. Even with the windows open at night it was not comfortable.

This was our first time visiting Colorado. The resort and area was absolutely beautiful. The service at Purgatory Resort is second to none. The condo was clean, and everything was in its place as noted within the details of the unit (545 Skier place, Purgatory Colorado unit 305); except for the mice we saw multiple times in the unit. Yes mice. Apparently, as noted within the email from the Durango Premier agent this is common in all of Colorado, and "oh I'm sorry this is normal" response. If that were included within the details I know we would have not chosen to stay there. We worked hard to save for this trip; it wasn't cheap, and to be told that it's the norm; too bad (paraphrasing) response was disappointing. So, before you go, ask about the mice!
