Perfect house for 8 ppl!
2 ppl shared beds (plenty big) and everyone else had their own.
Plus, beds had toppers that made them SO Comfortable!!!

Absolutely amazing property! Centrally located for tubing San Marcos and Comel. Loved the breeze of check in and check out and communication with owner was top notch although we had zero issues. House was nice and cool and the pool while warm (hello August in Texas) was nice after a long day. We will stay here again!!

Very nice property, good location. Feels secluded and private. I would stay here again and would recommend to others. That being said, I have 2 minor complaints. The first is the situation with the AC and the rules for use. That could be improved on, because we all were a little on the warm side. The second is the noise complaint from the neighbor. We were never loud and kept the music pretty quiet while outside.

This is a great property in every way. The furnishings throughout are just right, the beds were very comfortable, we had plenty of towels, kitchen was well equipped (although we did not cook much). The pool was very clean and the patio area was neat and tidy. The view from the pool/patio area is great and we had a nice breeze. The entire property is very secluded and surrounded with beautiful Texas nature. We felt like we were far from city life, while only being minutes to the grocery store and Gruene.
The only small issue was with connecting to wifi because the instructions did not have correct info. We had to contact the host to help get us connected. It was a bit difficult communicating with the host through the VRBO app vs speaking directly via phone or text. But once we got connected all was fine.
I would highly recommend this property.

This house was amazing for 8 adults. The house was very clean and extremely nice. The pool isn’t huge but is was perfect for our group. The host was able to answer questions quickly before we booked and the check in process was smooth. There are deer everywhere too and watching them really made our trip even better.

We enjoyed our stay, the home is lovely. We really enjoyed sitting on the back porch and the views of the hill country. The shower heads need replacing, but everything else was fine.

A beautiful home that’s very clean and well appointed. We were attending our daughters wedding at The Chandelier minutes from this home. Very convenient for us and just minutes from Gruene.

Stayed with 4 adults and 4 teens. Great property, everything as described. Amazing to see deer in the yard every morning, quiet, and relaxing. Communication with host was great. Would recommend for a relaxing stay close to lots of amazing adventures.

The home was a perfect place for me and my college girlfriends to spend time together. The pool, patio area and interior areas were clean, comfortable and relaxing with plenty of space for the four of us! Proximity to local Gruene restaurants was also a plus. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent vacation home. Great location and family fun for all. We enjoyed the pool. Owner provided excellent guide and great communication. It was 15 minutes from Schlitterbahn. Fishing near by. We really enjoyed the quality family time spent.

This house is absolutely gorgeous! It was very convenient for the family wedding we attended at the chandelier at gruene. Everything was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The only suggestion I have for the owner is to cut back on the messages sent via the vrbo app. I received one almost every day, and it was a little overwhelming. The app isn’t the most user friendly and takes a while to load. However I didn’t want to miss anything important. Overall, we loved our stay here!!

I highly recommend this home. You won’t be disappointed. We came for a 40th birthday weekend getaway for 3 couples, and everyone was extremely pleased with our stay. The beds are comfortable, everything was very clean, and the environment is relaxing. We especially enjoyed the pool area where we could relax, read, and drink our morning coffee. In the evenings, you can turn on the string of lights and enjoy a beverage by the pool. It has a feeling of seclusion even though you are only minutes from Gruene. I honestly don’t think the pictures do the property justice. It felt even nicer in person. Overall: highly recommend, and we would stay here again.

Loved to property! It was quiet, secluded, safe and secure. We instantly felt at home. The property owner has went to great lengths to think through details; not just amenities, but accessories in the kitchen, etc. We loved hanging out on the patio by the pool. Lighting was great and well labeled. The interior décor was beautiful. Bedding, bathrooms, kitchen and outdoors had all we wanted and more. HEB was only 3.5 miles away. Plenty of things to do nearby. Overall, a great place to stay...certainly a great place to celebrate my mother!

We had a great time staying at this property we had a total of 10 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. Property was very nice and the house just as nice as the pictures. Would definitely stay here again! The pool was perfect size to come back and cool off or just hang out at night. House was located in perfect spot as it was close to everything.

House was so beautiful and very comfortable. Also really loved the outside areas like the pool and having so many places to sit by / around the pool. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms were very clean, privacy was also perfect since none of the neighbors houses were visable from this one. Felt like the perfect get away for a very small and relaxing bachelorette party for a close friend. Highly recommend this stay!

I am happy to recommend Mountain Laurel Haus of Gruene if you're looking for a luxury house to rent in the Gruene/New Braunfels area! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Mountain Laurel Haus was the perfect home away from home. Spacious, relaxing, and fully equipped. Everything was ready for our arrival and the owner was a pleasure to communicate with anytime we had a question. Situated far enough away to escape the commotion of town, but within a short driving distance for shopping, floating, or a bite to eat. My family especially loved the gorgeous outdoor space with pool. Look no further if you're coming to the area and need a beautiful home to rent!
