Our group of 5 couples had an absolutely wonderful experience at this property. We have rented different places in Saugatuck over the last few years but hands down this one was our favorite. Marta was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. She was super responsive to all of my inquiries and made everything as simple as could be. We all sincerely appreciated the attention to detail regarding the property description, cleanliness and cute little touches that made our stay special. The snacks and wine were perfect. If you are looking for a property that is in a great location where you can gather together but also enjoy quiet time (5 suites!) this is the place for you. Marta - we will be back!!!!

We had a great vacation and Marta's property was absolutely a wonderful place to stay. The location in Saugatuck was incredible - there is a beautiful view of the water from the upper deck, and you are in the absolute center of Saugatuck. Everything is within easy walking distance. Plenty of room for my wife and I and our 4 children (ages 16-26), including the fiance of our oldest (so 7 total). Every bedroom has a king so more couples could easily stay there. The kitchen is well equipped, and we ended up cooking a couple of times, and eating out the rest. Highly recommend driving to Oval beach and viewing the sunset. The artwork and decorations in the house were really nice, and the treats she left for us on arrival were great (especially the chocolates!). Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The common living spaces are roomy and comfy. We used the attached deck most of the time because the weather was amazing. The location could not be better! We walked to dinner every night and enjoyed a great view of the water all the time!

This property is pristine. We enjoyed the spacious rooms - such a treat after a long day and also wonderful to have some quiet time when traveling with a group. The common areas have enough seating for everyone to be a part of the conversation and the kitchen has (literally) every tool or gadget you could need - whether you're cooking a feast or enjoying a simple snack. We loved the location - the view is beautiful and being able to step outside and be right downtown was an added bonus. We enjoyed walking to shops and restaurants all within a minute or two. It's also a short drive to hike Mount Baldhead, to local wineries, or to downtown Douglas for additional shopping and dining options. It was the perfect spot for a girls weekend with family and friends. In addition to the fine home, I really appreciated Marta's prompt responses and ongoing communication. She sent a list of restaurants and activities in advance which was so helpful in planning our stay - definitely not expected, but saved us a lot of trouble searching reviews to find things to do. I would recommend this home over and over - and would love to come back!

Great location, great property. We used the house for an annual gathering of friends and spouses. The house was equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect.

My family stayed here for a wedding and every room was beautiful, clean, spacious and filled with incredible art. The location was perfect, right downtown for walking, just looking at the water, restaurants, visiting friends, shopping and anything else we wanted to do. Marta was charming and fun and left us wonderful goodies for when we arrived. We could not have had a better spot to stay.

Family of 6 adults, 2 babies and a 4 year old. Plenty of space for everyone. Really loved the location. We spent lots of time on the deck with the kids and of course the proximity to the ice cream shops was a hit.

My family from 65 to 3 years old enjoyed this beautiful house. The location can't be beat, right next to town with a view of the harbor. The house was immaculately clean, and better stocked with food and other items than any VRBO we've used before. Thanks for a great time!

Our adult family of 10 came in from all over the Midwest to enjoy our annual Christmas together. This year we spent it at this wonderful home in downtown Saugatuck. I don't know what to say that hasn't already been said so I'll share comments from the gang . "What a wonderful view"; "This is the cleanest home we have ever rented"; "I love that all 5 bedrooms have their own bathroom"; "This entire house is filled with amazing artwork"; "This house is equipped with everything...next time I'll bring nothing"; "The large table is perfect for meals and games". On a personal note, I enjoyed working with Marta very much. She saw to it that there was a festive Christmas tree and decorations for my family to enjoy. We are five siblings who get together once a year for a reunion. Our spouses are included so we need five bedrooms and five bathrooms. It has become increasingly difficult to find such places. This home was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and a warm place to come home to after our daily adventures. Our youngest couple is in their 60s and the rest are in their 70s and our days were filled with dune rides, the star of Saugatuck, meijer gardens, Hollands windmill island gardens and Cranes pie company for lunch. The sisters and I also worked in some shopping on our last afternoon there. We consulted the list of restaurants provided by Marta and enjoyed the welcome basket she provided. There is no question about where we would stay were we to visit this area again. One of our sibs was unable to make the trip but there would have been plenty of room for all. I could recommend Bowdies for steaks, the Italian restaurant that is close by for dinner, and any ice cream establishment. Every store, restaurant, art gallery, etc. had a small town feel and welcoming quality that you don't generally find in your daily life.

This was an ideal setup for our group - five couples who travel regularly together. Everyone had their own space with a very nice public area to gather. This is our second fall stay here and we've already reserved for next year. The guys like to play golf and there are a few very nice courses nearby. The girls like to chat and shop and it offered ample opportunity for both of those as well. Most impressive are the eclectic design and decor. Unusual and interesting art and artifacts are everywhere. The large, modern kitchen overflows with everything anyone could need for cooking and even the panty is well stocked with both basics and specialties. We took advantage of the old-fashioned popcorn we could actually pop on the stove. The owner left a gift basket of chocolates, special crackers, wine and coffee. The WiFi was good. Located right downtown with a beautiful view of the marina it was close to shopping and eateries. Parking can be a problem on weekends but from late Sunday afternoon on it was no problem at all. Marta has been very accommodating and easy to work with. We always felt profoundly welcome.

This is the 4th time I have rented this property. The owner is very accommodating and helpful with planning your trip to the Saugatuck area by providing local information. The house is located in the "heart of town" with easy access to shops and restaurants. The house easily accommodated 4 couples and 1 individual. The deck overlooking the street and water is a great place to "people watch" and listen to live music at the Butler, across the street. The "welcome" basket is also a nice "personal" touch. I highly recommend a stay at this property.

Marta did a great job for our family. Our arrival gift included plenty of tasty coffee and wine. The property had everything we needed including the location, parking, air conditioning, clean BBQ grill, plenty of bathrooms, comfortable beds and thick and soft towels. Our family of 7 adults + 1 infant rented Marta's home in Saugatuck for a long Memorial Day weekend getaway, and could not have been more pleased with the property. It was everything we needed for our family to enjoy the time together. With more than enough space to accommodate everyone, we found the communal areas in the upstairs dining area, kitchen, bar and especially 2nd floor porch overlooking the water to be absolutely perfect. I actually feel that the pictures do not do the house justice, as we were continually impressed with how well the home came together. Additionally, the two downstairs "apartment" units worked perfectly as people staying down in those rooms could easily go to bed (especially with infant) without being disturbed by anyone upstairs. The location could not be better - literally in the middle of things downtown with a direct view of the bay and marina/boats. Just steps away from all of the restaurants & bars, shopping and main tourist area, this home is absolutely sure to please anyone who stays here. All of the amenities provided for with the house were up to date, and as a collective group, we could not come up with anything that did not end up being perfect for our family during our stay. Marta was an incredibly gracious host, and went by far out of her way to accommodate us (even having a new grille installed to ensure we were able to enjoy time cooking at home together) along with helping to coordinate our way around the town. We have already talked about booking another stay at Marta's beautiful home, I would highly recommend this to anyone with a larger group who wants to be in the middle of the downtown Saugatuck area with amazing views and a beautiful home!
