We are so glad we chose The Louisiana Purchase for our first 3 Generation vacation in 10 years. We loved the beautiful property…..exceeded all expectations. Old foles, adults and teens all LOVED our vacation!

We had kids, teens, and adults in our group and everyone loved this place. Swim, snorkel, paddle board, kayak, lounge without ever leaving the property. This place was very clean and comfortable, the managers were very accommodating and had great communication. We will be staying here again. I highly recommend this property.

This property was GREAT, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The only minor complaints are lack of cooking spices that typically you find in VRBOs from previous guests or stocked by owners, adequate storage containers, foil or plastic wrap for leftovers, and not being Comcast subscribers we couldn't log into our own NETFLIX, etc accounts. So only minor things that didn't impact us too much, just comparing to other properties where we have stayed. I definitely would recommend this for a large party, there is so much room to spread out. The pool is great, as well as all the wildlife; its like a piece of your own Everglades.

The view of the bay with the sand beach and palm trees was beautiful. Loved all the different seating areas to look at the bay. Couldn’t keep the grandkids out of the pool! Property manager very accommodating and quickly responded to a minor issue which was quickly taken care of. Definitely recommend!

Words do not begin to express how beautiful this place is!!! Pictures truly did not do it justice! We chose this home for our small wedding with our 5 children and their friends for a total of 11 from the ages of 14 to 53. The property was truly our own slice of heaven. From the beautiful homes, in ground pool, tiki huts, small beach, tropical fruit trees, iguanas, geckos. I could go on and on. To add to the excitement, my boys caught a small shark, a crab, a giant lobster as well as many other fish. The pier was a wonderful place to spend with family relaxing, watching the sunset, fishing, and even saw dolphin and manatee. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us, Van. We hope to be back in the future!

Loved our stay! The property is beautiful, clean, and in a great location. We loved spending time at the pool during the day, and on the pier for the sunsets in the evening. Van and Rob were helpful and responsive. Would love to return!

The pictures don’t come close to showing the true beauty of this property or the immense amount of space. Nearly every time we left it was simply for groceries, there was so much to do right there at the house we didn’t feel the need to plan anything. We had 3 middle aged adults and the rest were teenagers, no one was bored!! We would absolutely stay here again, in fact we looked into booking again for next year but it was already taken. This entire property is just gorgeous.

Such a beautiful place! Exceeded our expectations! Private pool and beach with picturesque views and landscaping. Best sunset right out our back door! Plenty of room for the little ones to run around and feel safe. Quiet location within walking distance to restaurants and bars. Rob was very accommodating. Louisiana Purchase was definitely the perfect place to make lasting family memories!

The property is beautiful, clean and well stocked. Our family included 10 ages 5 to 65. Plenty of room in the two houses. Very large outdoor area with wonderful places to sit on the pier in the warm breezes to watch all the water activities. At the end of the pier we say Tarpen, sharks, dolphin, ducks, crab, etc swim by. The property manager was very helpful and prompt the couple of times we had questions. Spent many hours in the pool. Great place to come back to after outings. Many good restaurants within walking distance. Our family had a great vacation and many happy memories.

The property was absolutely beautiful and such a treat! From the private beach and pier to the private pool and bar, everything you could ever need is right on the property. We had the pleasure of seeing several dolphins, iguanas, a heron, and fish during our time. Great time had by all guests in our party from 0-65 years old.

Our family stayed here in September. We loved everything about it. The pool, all the cute chairs under tikis throughout, the location, the trees, the sunset! Just wow! We were able to take our 36’ boat. Can’t wait to come visit again! The owner is very accommodating :)

We vacation every year in the Keys. We have stayed in homes with marble staircases and in homes with glass elevators but this property was like no other. The pictures are exactly as the property is but DOES NOT capture the true feel and beauty. Every little space is a paradise of its own. Van was great to work with and Rob and his crew were amazing. Our two weeks we had different family members come. They all are talking about booking again on their own. Honestly, it was fabulous. We brought our boat but had great success fishing off of the dock. The best vacation we have had in a great while.

Absolutely loved our time at Louisiana Purchase. The main house is beautiful and super functional for families. Loved the pool and lagoon area. The cottage is so quaint and lovely. It is perfect for the older folks. So much to do in the area if you can pull yourself away from the property. Can't wait for next time!

This property is absolutely beautiful with our own swimming pool and private beach! Lots of wildlife…many birds, iguanas and small lizards. They don’t get too close but are very enjoyable to watch. We had dolphins greet us one morning. Beautiful landscaping and the houses were very comfortable. We will be back again!!

We enjoyed our stay here very much, Van, Rob and his wife were all so kind and attentive and accommodating to our needs. The 2 houses on the same property is wonderful to have privacy for the older folks, and younger ones (or guys n gals). The property is magical, so many nice spots for leisure and relaxation by the water, and for healing (we recently lost some folks and it was wonderful to sit by the water and watch the sunset go down). My grandson loved the wildlife that visited (birds, lil geckos) and he loved the pool where he could get in and out himself (under our supervision). We love Key Largo, it's a special place for us, and we hope to visit again someday. You will love it here, promise.

We don’t have enough good things to say about Van’s property. It was the Percy spot for our family and our close friends who collectively had 6 kids under the age of 10. There was plenty of room and everything was clean and well stocked. The view doesn’t get any better. We enjoyed walking out to the end of the dock to watch the sunset each night and loved doing yoga on the beach in the mornings. We rented kayaks from the dive shop next door and the kids swam their hearts out all day every day. We did some deep sea fishing and enjoyed cooking meals with the fresh fish. We hope to return every year to remake the magic!

Beautiful, roomy, clean, well-stocked, comfortable beds, quality amenities to include a pool, hammock, many chairs throughout the property. Cool pier dock...don't miss the light over the water at night. Highly recommend!

The property is exceptional with all the amenities one could wish for to create a beautiful holiday. Coordinating with QDS next door, divers could not find a better set up for awesome diving, with a place to hang out, cook great food, sleep with utmost comfort and be just chill by the pool. I will come back as often as they will let me..there is really no better place to vacation - although I'm probably shooting myself in the foot giving away the secrets of this gem of a spot!

This property is amazing, it was more than what the pictures show on the VRBO site. Absolutely beautiful! It had everything we needed and more. The neighbors at the Dive shop were friendly and helpful, check in/out was super easy, it was clean and in a great location. My husband and I re-newed our wedding vows with our family on the beach area at sunset. It was indescribable! It provided this family (from ages 10 months - 91 years)with beautiful memories for years to come. Thank you Van for sharing your property.

My husband and I took our kids and, almost 4 year old, granddaughter. We ALL enjoyed our stay at this tropical paradise!!! This is the first time I have ever gone on vacation and was able to relax 100%. It truly is a tropical paradise escape!!!

Even better than advertised!
This property is amazing and the pictures do not do it justice! There was so much space and every area has special touches. There were at least 4 separate seating areas to watch the sunset. There is a clear attention to detail on all the practical things you may need from small amenities like well placed large trash cans to plentiful high quality seating. It is also walking distance to restaurants, snorkel trips, kayaks, her skis and more.
