We love Pelican Point so much we stay there twice a year. Amazing location, perfect simple apartments, the court yard and BBQ area makes it possible to hang out by the water. Jim is super friendly and helpful. He’s a very nice owner and is easy to hang out with. We love it!

Rincon is awesome, the property is great and the location can't be beat. Technically everything you need is in walking distance, (it is beach front), surf rentals, restaurants, coffee, bars. However, Rincon as a whole is worth exploring. That's where the great host Jim comes in. Super knowledgeable of the area, he will go out of his way to help you in any way and give you great recommendations. I will be back!

Amazing experience. Beautiful place, manager is always available in person or by phone for anything you need. Place is extremely clean and backyard, which is a common area, is well designed and equipped for a pleasant stay. Also, there's a restaurant next to the place (fence to fence). Beach is open sea which, in my opinion, makes it not recommended for little kids.

The property is in an amazing location with surf just a few meters from the end of the steps. Check-in was fast and easy and Carlos was very helpful. I stayed with my wife and two boys, but would say the unit is better suited for younger single visitors. It is right next door to the Tamboo Bar/Restaurant, so it is loud and generally in a loud neighborhood. While there are cups and plates, cookware and silverware is very limited., so cooking much presents challenges. If you want to hang out outside and enjoy the beach, it is a great place for you.

Pelican point was a great beach experience. The location of the property is awesome. Carlos was amazing. From check in to check out he was great. The courtyard was a great place to hang out when not on the beach. We cooked outdoors in the courtyard. The bbq area was perfect. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We even roasted our own penil on the beach. This beach rental is exactly as described and did not disappoint. I cant stress enough how super kool Carlos was. He waited around for us cause we were late to check in. He gave us a quick tour of the apt, courtyard and beach. He made us feel welcome. Being able to wake up to the crashing of the waves was perfect. Everyone in the surrounding area were so nice. Pelican point is a great place to spend with the family during the week. Tamboo bar next door had great music and they closed at midnight. If your looking for a place on the beach to be with your family and have a great time. Pelican point at sandy beach Rincon is the spot to be. This is not a resort. It is not fancy. This is a down to earth, get salty and sandy place were we learned to appreciate the raw beauty of Rincon and life itself. As a dad it was great to see my kids off the damn cell phones. They had much to explore and learned that getting alittle dirty can be tons of fun.

Right on the beach and just as pictured -- beautiful sandy beach right down the steps! Great outdoor cooking area - but was in need of cleaning before use. Plastic lawn furniture quite weathered and covered with bird droppings. Interior was a bit dark and dreary but didn't spend much time indoors. Be warned no water heater - just a tiny unit on each shower had the provides warm water (at best) -- if pressure is turned very low. Cold water only for bathroom and kitchen sinks. Maintenance was not on site first two days. One of the two names and phone numbers on the VRBO site and contract (Elier I beleive) for maintenance and check out responded to text message stating he hasn't been the property maintenance/manager for quite some time so that needs to be updated. Other text message to the second number requesting maintenance wasn't received for some reason, so had cold shower the first two days - malfunctioning and leaky attachment to shower head that was supposed to "warm" the water did not work. Also beach items such as boogie boards and snorkel equipment was locked up and not accessible first two days since no management/maintenance person on site and no response to text message (not delivered for some reason). Once management (Carlos) was called rather than texting, response was very good and issue was resolved the following day. Noisy: Tamboo Bar right next door is VERY loud at night. One of the two bedrooms in Unit A has a hollow exit door facing Tamboo so it sounds like you are in the bar when you are in bed, loud music, yelling, hollering, beer bottles being dropped in garbage -- definite down side of Unit A. Don't plan to go to sleep before bar closing time -- or within an hour after as beer bottles are being thrown in the garbage and it sounds like it's literally in your bedroom. There is a phone number to call if it gets too loud, but it is the police and I don't imagine they are going to tell the bar patrons they cannot make noise do it's just a drawback of this location. Other than items mentioned, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend it, with these things in mind!

Excellent place beachfront in Rincón. A good place to stay with friends and families. Carlos was very attentive and give us recommendations to eat and visit nearby.

you really can't beat the location of this property, literately walk outside into Tamboo and the beach is in your backyard. Its also nice to have neighbors, everybody was super cool. We ended up barbecuing and having dinner outside one evening, was really special. I would definitely come back and I would highly recommend this place.

For the second consecutive year we spent our family vacation here and we love this place. Also, the people in charge are very attentive. Definitely we are going back!

We had three couples renting the two apt for a week. Elier was great, I texted him when we were about a half hour away to let us in and give us a quick overview of stuff. The apt were clean and up to date and having our own kitchen and regular apt was the best. Being right on the beach was awesome to be able to walk to a surf spot before everyone was up. The outdoor courtyard was great for everyone to hang out on in the evening and we became good friends with the neighbors. Everything you could need on a beach/surf vacation was right there. The only thing I would suggest is to bring foam ear plugs to sleep with as our apts were on the same side as tamboo. On fri and sat nights it gets loud especially if you go to sleep early to surf the next morning. But drink enough medallia in the evening and you'll be fine haha. Sun through thurs is fine for noise, no ear plugs needed. We will def be coming back. Also hit kahuna burger for happy hour burgers, and pools bar for sushi, they are both right up the street.

On the beach and pictures are very accurate of the apartment. Walls are not too soundproof, but that was easily curable with earplugs! Overall great stay
