Shelly was a wonderful hostess, she was quick to answer all of our questions. The house itself was wonderful. It was close to local attractions, but with the pool and beach access, who needs to go anywhere?

This has become one of our favorite lake vacation homes. Home was immaculate, spacious and charming. Pool and private beach was the icing on the cake! Shelly and Marc were great attentive hosts. Close to wineries, u-pick fruit farms and shopping. A++

We LOVED this house and this stay. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. The private beach was a highlight for sure. The pool and hot tub combination was a must and we were out in the backyard all week. Such a relaxing vacation! A few things to keep in mind: there is only 1 toilet (2nd bathroom is only a shower), the basement sleeping area was warm as there is no central A/C, and there is no wifi available in the house. The upstairs bedrooms have window AC units for sleeping.

Very nice setting,short distance to beaches and a nice dowtown area.

my wife and dog stayed a week, it was clean upon arrival and nice setup. we had great weather so that was the win-win. pool hotuib firepit grill and outside chairs were super clean. the host was responsive and we hope to return next year. the beach is down the road and down a hill, we did not use the beach, but younger folks would likely enjoy that.

The property was clean and had everything we needed. Great views and beach close by. Very nice.

The home is well cared for. The sunsets on Lake Michigan were nothing short of amazing! We were able to utilize all the property had to offer. With the view of North Grand Mere from the deck, pool, hot tub, and firepit...... As a sun-lover, sunset chaser and nature extraordinaire.... Shelly's home was a paradise!! I definitely hope to be back. Thank you for sharing your lake house.

Fun girls weekend at an awesome property with great amenities. Really convenient location with easy access to highway but set nicely back on private road. Very clean property with amazing pool and hot tub. Looking forward to visiting again!

The house is very clean and comfortable. The location is great! Close to town, restaurants, wineries, trails, and the beach! Shelly was very nice and attentive. The deck, hot tub, swimming pool, and private beach are incredible!

Fantastic properrty in a nice quiet area of Michigan right on the lake. Properly was up to date and well kept. The Hosts were very helpful and communication was definitely top notch. Would absolutely recommend.

Our group had such a great time at the lake house. We didn’t have the best weather, but it didn’t matter because the views were wonderful and the house is perfectly cozy. I’d recommend coming here if you’re looking for an unplugged getaway. Keep in mind there is no wifi, but my hotspot worked great while we were there!

Took my husband here to "unplug" & unwind as his birthday gift. The house was beautiful, very open & clean. We loved the romantic fireplace & the modern relaxing feel of the house itself. We felt there were plenty of household essentials (towels, utensils, dishware, toiletries) everything very clean. We didn't cook there but definitely could if we wanted to. We especially enjoyed the hot tub & the cool April weather was perfect for it. The hot tub was very large & luxurious. We wished there was some type of table near the hot tub to rest our drinks & things so we didn't have to get out of the hot tub to get them but that was such a minor issue. Shelly & Mark gave some great recommendations on restaurants & places to visit. we tried the Bit o Swiss bakery & loved it. Crimson Café was a small breakfast diner that had the best breakfast ever & was extremely affordable. We found the area to be safe, quiet & secluded but still very close to restaurants/stores. It was too cold to enjoy the pool but we'd love to come back to enjoy the pool with our daughter.

From the jump, you can tell that Shelly takes great pride in her lake home. The home was maintained well, communication was excellent, and the location cannot be beat. The private beach was, by far, the best part of my stay. I spent hours sitting by the water. My friends and I enjoyed local shops and restaurants but mostly, I enjoyed the view. Be sure to read the listing thoroughly as there is no WiFi (I assumed, not complaining). My only feedback is that it’s listed as 2 baths but there is only 1 toilet (yes 2 showers but 1 toilet). Not ideal but we dealt.

My husband and I loved our stay here. It was quiet, private, pet friendly, and very clean. Shelly was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a little speaker out by the jacuzzi with a super nice lake view. Since the trees were bare, we could see sooo much more of the lake. And I’m sure the view is just as nice during summer! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway…a lot of good restaurants, breweries/wineries nearby

This is such a nice spot in a cozy sleepy neighborhood, and my girls' weekend trip here was so lovely. Even though it's winter, this lake house location was truly perfect to hunker down, play some card games, cozy up with snacks and older movies in the basement, and play some ping-pong downstairs. The hot tub was definitely one of the features that drew us to this house. We even bundled up to walk to the little beach and see the beautiful waves crashing in. Everything about this VRBO was CLEAN and the check-out requests were extremely reasonable. Shelly was so kind and checked in a couple of times throughout the weekend to make sure that everything was going alright, that we were staying warm, and offered some local restaurant suggestions. I am absolutely planning to go back ☺️ I recommend this spot to anyone considering it!

We really enjoyed our weekend away at the Lakehouse and the surrounding Harbor Country area. While we spent much of our time away, exploring the area, we were very comfortable just hanging at the house. Off the beaten path (but not too far), the house is clean, cozy and well stocked with everything you’d need. Well maintained home, nice hot tub, gas fireplace, outdoor fire pit and pleasant views (between North Lake and Lake Michigan across the road). Beautiful sunsets on the private beach that is just down a short path, end of the road. While it was just the 2 of us, we’d love to bring our kids back in the summer - the pool area was super cool. Shelly is very responsive and easy to communicate with, no issues at all. Highly recommend this home at any time of the year!

We had a lovely time celebrating a 40th birthday. The hot tub was excellent, communication with the host was excellent.

Absolutely LOVED this place!!! My boyfriend and I wanted a peaceful weekend getaway and this place was the perfect spot. The house is very clean, and the layout is beautiful. We enjoyed eating breakfast while looking out at the lake. The hot tub was super relaxing and private. There's also a trail near by that's lovely and takes you on the sand dunes. Shelly the property manager was very kind and helpful. I definitely recommend this place!

We had a great stay, it was a quick unplanned trip. Property owner was very nice and great about reaching out to let us know if we needed anything to reach out. It has a beautiful deck with a hot tub, can't wait to book in warmer weather and take advantage of the pool. Well maintained property, will be going back!

This was by far the best rental we have ever stayed at. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Cozy fireplace & gorgeous views of Lake mere & Lake Michigan! Shelly was really nice & made everything very simple.

Great place with a nice beach close to the house. Very quiet with a beautiful view of Grand Mere lake. Close to town to get a bite to eat. St.Joe Michigan is close by with shopping and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

The Lake House was the perfect stay for our my husband and I on our honeymoon! The house is comfortable and clean, has a gorgeous view of Grand Lake Mere, and is just steps away from a private Lake Michigan beach. We loved stargazing at night from the hot tub, and taking in the gorgeous Fall colors of early October. Shelly and Mark are wonderful hosts who gave us an excellent introduction to the property upon our arrival and were always available for recommendations. We will definitely be coming back any time of year!

We had a great girls’ weekend. Property was as described. Had a great October weekend using the hot tub and having a bonfire one night. Close to St. Joseph, Grand Mere State Park, and Lake Michigan

We’ve stayed here a few times now and it’s perfect for our sisters trip! Shelly is awesome if you have questions or need anything she is on top of it! The location is perfect with wonderful views and privacy! There’s some wonderful restaurants near by too!

This place was perfect. Booked it because they allow dogs and for the hot tub. House was super clean and cozy when we got there. Everything we needed they had at the house. Hot tub was perfect, walk to beach was nice, quiet neighborhood. Will have to stay again during the summer to use the pool! Host was friendly and met us when we checked in to go over any questions. They go the extra mile to make guests feel comfortable !
