We took the G and L ferry to MOW and were greeted by are Charmaine and Glen, our caretakers. Lost and Found was just how we remembered it. The AC is cold, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and the grocery store is next door. Glenn showed us how to use the whole home generator in case the power went off. The owner let us use his slip for our rental boat and it was just a short walk to the dock. We went on our daily adventures and was pleased to see that the people of the Abacos are hard at work rebuilding. We had a great time and as usual the people are very friendly. The Albury Sail shop is up and running, the grocery store is well stocked, and the power grid is stable, so go to Man O War Cay and visit your old friends or make some new ones!!

Very close to the public dock, Directly behind the grocery store, so able to get groceries easily. Could easily not use a golf cart if you don’t need to go elsewhere on the island. AC was very cold. Would stay here agai.

Great stay for 1 1/2 weeks. Cottage is perfect for me, mom & dad. Great central location near the boat dock which we utilized for 6 days. Also a close walk to the G&L ferry. Groceries and wonderful coffee shop right up the block. MOW is our favorite island in the Abacos - just our cup of tea - easy, quiet, quaint and of course beautiful. Miss the “low place” already.

This is the best place to lay back, leave your fancy clothes home, and enjoy yourself. This adorable cottage is well located so that it is easy to enjoy this quaint island town. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need. We loved having the grocery store and coffee shop right by us. We ordered a lemon meringue pie from Russell's. So good!! We did rent a golf cart to go to our favorite swimming place but you can easily walk it. We enjoyed getting to know the people and joined them at church several times. This is our second stay at Lost and Found and hope to visit again. The host was very good at communicating and the on island caretakers, Charmaine and Glenn, we very attentive. Thanks to everyone that may our stay at Man O War wonderful!!!

What a great place to visit!! Lost and Found is a very comfortable, clean, and easy place to stay. The location, right in the heart of the settlement, makes boating, groceries, beaches, and the fascinating history of Man O War right next door. The local residents are kind, very helpful, and patient. Man O War has made a remarkable recovery from Dorian, and the future will bring even more amenities to the island as they continue to rebuild. Thanks to Dick, Glenn and Charmaine, Dave and Micah from Conch Pearl boat rentals, and especially to the ladies from MOW Grocery for taking care of me!!

Our group of 3 adults loved our stay at Lost and Found. We were met at the new MOW G&L Ferry dock by the very personable caretaker, Charmaine. Charmaine helped get us settled in and throughout our stay, was available when we had additional questions. We also had a chance to meet Glenn when the island had a little electrical outage but the generator at Lost and Found was easily started and kept everything running as usual (power was restored within a couple of hours). All 3 of us enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The house feels homey and the central location on a side road is great. Thanks Charmaine, Glenn and Dick for a wonderful trip! Bill H.

This is the second year in a row we have booked here, and hope to for many more years ahead. We are a family of four with two children, and it suited us perfectly. It is interesting that such a small space feels so spacious. The house is so well designed that even after 8 days, we did not feel cramped or crowded. It’s clear the house is meant to be lived in as it has all the random things you need on a daily basis but never think to pack, much less find in a vacation home (an umbrella, the one off kitchen utensil you have in the drawer at home, that one weird pan that is the perfect size for what you needed). The location is incredibly convenient- it’s like living in the center of downtown, if there was a down town, because everything is a two minute walk away, and the only traffic noise you hear is the one or two golf carts cruising the island at 8 pm. It’s clean, not just tidy (there is a difference). And somehow, I have never seen a bug inside the house. This is no mean feat in the islands, and it is especially important if you have ever had the misfortune to run across a palmetto bug. (Do not look it up if you are from the North. Trust me) Overall, it is our dream house. If you book this property, which honestly, you just should, please just make sure to leave a week open sometime in summer so our family can book there in 2020.

Our family of 4 loved this cottage. Very welcoming & comfortable. It had everything we needed and we looked forward to returning to it each night after boating. The use of the golf cart allowed us to explore the island and was very convenient!

This house has everything, is spotless, and is close to all the important sites on Man O War Cay! The beds are comfortsble and the linens crisp. There's a clothesline for drying your swimsuits and towels. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is a Weber charcoal grill for your use. The house is sunny and warm and the AC units are in good working order. There is a generator which starts with a simple push of a button, if needed. The owner is responsive and very helpful. The caretakers of the property know the building very well and are also available at any time of the day or night (thankfully we didn't need them) as they live nearby. This is a wonderfully renovated cottage with a lot of character. Highly recommended!

The cottage is beautiful. Man O War is for people who want to get away and just relax. Everything you need is provided. The cottage is in the center of the settlement, the grocery is next door, get the local eggs. The golf cart provided gets you to the beach at The Narrows - the best place to view the sunset. (Probably the sunrise as well, but we were on vacation — slept in. ) We rented a boat one day and did a little island hopping. You’ll feel at home. Kitchen is well equipped, cable TV (if you need a break from the beach) and washer/dryer (so, you don’t have to pack much). Go to the large grocery (and liquor store, if your so inclined) in Marsh Harbour before you ferry over to Man O War. The MOW grocery has the things you forgot. If you don’t want to cook, there are restaurants on MOW. We went to both of them. Unhurried service, pricey with average food. I recommend this cottage.

Key to this place is location, location, location. In the middle of Man-O-War. No it is not on a beach. But beaches are a short walk away. It is behind the grocery store. Near The Hibiscus Cafe (a must-frequent-many-times restaurant). Around the corner (I mean maybe 200ft) from the museum where morning coffee and cinnamon rolls are a must. A golf cart is available, but we hardly ever used it, because we walked almost everywhere. The cottage itself was very well equipped and served us very. It comes with a backup generator that we used for less than an hour (to heat up our Hibuscus leftovers) when there was an Abocos-wide power outage. The owner was very helpful with answering questions before we got there. Once there, the caretakers, Charmaine and Glenn, were very helpful and sociable. This served the two us so very well. Exactly what we needed for a brief (too brief) getaway.

Clean, safe, fully equipped kitchen, in the middle of everything and great care-takers too! Wi-Fi worked perfectly. It was nice to have the two rooms on opposite sides of the cottage, separated by the kitchen and living area. You can walk to everything that you need but the golf cart is a nice extra to have in order to venture to the “The Low Place.” I left my heart in MOW. Thanks for having us! I can’t wait to return!

Great place to stay in Man-o-war has everything you need clean and comfortable perfect for 2 couples. Dick is very helpful gave us info for renting a boat and pickup from Marsh Harbor. Plan to stay there again.

This house is set up so nicely. Great privacy with the bedrooms being on separate ends of the house. Beautiful decore and super clean. And the golf cart is included in the price! Man-O-War is the prettiest island in the Abacos.

Great “care takers”. Picked us up from ferry and left us golf cart. All as advertised. Kitchen well equipted, washer dryer, dock, golf cart, ac all excellent.

The Lost and Found cottage was lovely and well equipped.

Modern, updated, CLEAN, and comfortable. Had everything needed for a stay - well equipped kitchen, all bedding, towels, etc. Only thing we had to supply was food, disposables and ourselves. Charcoal grill makes a mean crawfish and steak dinner. Freezer has lots of ice. Char and Glen are fantastic. Explained all info and were there when you need them. They even explained how to "survive" on the island (places to eat, where to have fun, etc). Be open on your visit and greet every person you meet with a smile and you will be amazed at what it yields. Could not have asked for a better vacation. We really liked our stay at lost and found. The fact that there were two bedrooms with two bathrooms and a washer and dryer plus us a golf cart to use made this a wonderful choice for me and my wife and two daughters. After our stay I can see why this property gets such good reviews. I want to also mention that Man O War Cay is populated by genuinely kind, helpful and loving people. We all really enjoyed our house but most importantly we really loved the people of Man O War Cay ! This wonderful house is on a special little island and I highly recommend it !
