If you think this sounds like a wonderful place to stay, just wait until you get there. It will be so much more than you expected. The location is private, the home is very comfortable, the setting and views spectacular. The rooms are large and very nicely furnished, The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need during your stay and is all of great quality, including the linens and towels. You will love it!

First time to the island of Great Abaco. Planning three weeks next year, Casuarine Point is a hidden gem.

Excellent place to stay . There weren’t any exaggerations , all was as said if not a little better . The local property manager was responsive in a friendly manner and made sure all questions were answered . He gave us insights to the area and the binder Donna left there was thorough in instructions .

There was great communication with both the owner and property manager. The home is great and is perfect for family adventures right out the door of the home.

The house is as described, on a channel with a beautiful view of Cherokee Sound. The beach is a short walk or a quick kayak out of the channel. The beaches are amazing, stretching as far as the eye can see. We rented the boat and explored the sound. We saw starfish, sting rays, lobster, conch, turtles, and too many different types of fish to name. Communication with the host and property manager was seamless. We look forward to returning.

This place is absolutely spectacular, very new and spacious construction along with wonderful hosts and property manager that make me feel at home, cassarina point is beautiful and all the people are very friendly. It truly is a gem! Close to good fishing and amazing beaches too

The house and location were perfect and exactly what we were expecting. The evenings were perfect with a great ocean breeze. The house had everything we needed for cooking, etc. Having the boat to use was great and got us to our own island each day. Raymond was quick in responding when we had an issue. Highly recommend!

Great lay out. The fridge/freezer, air conditioning, internet, Host Donna, caretaker Raymond all worked great. We had a lot of fun. The Boston Whaler is good clean fun for all ages. Very close to town. Did not feel out of the way at all. We drove into town a took 5 different ferrys to different Cays and no one complained about the drive once.

Thoroughly enjoyed this property!! The size of the property, the location of the property and the price of the property is unbeatable!! We appreciated the privacy the location of this house offered and how clean and well maintained the home is. Having the boat and kayaks was a huge bonus!! The house has everything you need. The marine life we experienced just in the canal was incredible. We are already missing sitting on the deck with our morning coffee and looking out at the beautiful water view. Talk about relaxing! We enjoyed Taco Tuesdays at Jake’s and enjoyed the atmosphere and food at Pete’s Pub. Donna, the host, and Raymond, the manager, were easily accessible for any questions and/or concerns. HIghly recommend this property!!!!

We found this property to be a true treasure. This 3 bedroom home had beautiful views and was roomy and comfortable. Daily walks on the beach, fishing on the flats, boating and kayaking added to many joys we experienced.

Great family retreat in the Bahamas away from the crowds. When you stay in Casuarina Point you are surrounded by locals, it's a quiet community. We loved having the whaler for the week, we had our three boys, ages 21, 18 and 14 so island hopping, swimming, boating, exploring and fishing was the daily routine. Thank you Donna and Fred for being so accessible and helpful for our many questions. We'll be back!

Beautiful home and property in the beautiful Casuarina Point Beach.

The rental is well maintained and the owners are extremely helpful and responsive. This area of the island is a little more secluded, which is nice if you want a vacation away from it all. The house is quite large and had plenty of room for everyone in our group. The washer and dryer were a nice plus. As were the kayaks that come with the rental. You will need to rent a car to get around the area, but it’s quite easy to navigate once on island. Within a short drive, you’ll find Pete’s Pub (which we loved) for great food and a fun beach location. There is a grocery store at the Big Bird just up the road and a small convenience store in Cherokee Sound. Highly suggest getting all your supplies in Marsh Harbor before driving down. Jake’s is currently running a food trailer at the entrance to the neighborhood on some days. It’s a good option for food, as is Pete’s, otherwise, I suggest cooking on your own. Fishing trips can be arranged to pick up from the pier, which is great. Owners are extremely helpful and can give you tips and tricks to make your stay more enjoyable.

Our family was right at home here! The view is amazing and the house was very nice, with great air conditioning! The front porch is awesome, with shade all day and a constant breeze. The property manager was very helpful and prompt to respond. We got to see a variety of marine life in the canal and also took the provided kayaks out to watch sea turtles in the bay. We really enjoyed our stay!

We went for our 10 year wedding anniversary and we had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and private. The views were amazing and the accessibility to the water is fantastic. Donna and Fred are amazing hosts and and they have a wonderful property manager that was available at all times of our stay. We loved casuarina point and hopefully we will rerun again soon! If you are looking for privacy, adventure, and a place to get away from it all, this will exceed your expectations!

This property is wonderful and highly recommended. Clean, well appointed and with a spectacular view that melts the time away. Rent the small whaler to explore the local waters. This place is off the beaten track but well worth a week stay or more to explore the area. Caves, blue holes, offshore and inshore fishing nearby. Definitely go bone fishing with Marty Sawyer, an expert guide that lives nearby 242-458-7301. That was the highlight of the trip. Not many restaurant options nearby, and the kitchen is really nice to cook your favorite meals. Overall a great place to stay and visit.

If you’re looking for a clean, private, tropical getaway—this is it! Honestly, this place is a secret slice of paradise. The property, inside and out, is so tidy and aesthetically pleasing with the mosaic tile, stained glass accents, treasures from the sea, towering coconut trees and a fabulous collection of conch shells (that I just had to add to 😉). I can’t begin to tell you how much my husband and I enjoyed the skiff! We had the time of our lives riding around finding starfish, conch, sharks, turtles, and tons of sand dollars, etc.! Incredible! We bought groceries to last us the whole week in Marsh Harbor on Sunday, and then just ate whatever we caught that day (we brought foldable fishing poles). I suggest this method so you can get as much time at the house and on the water as possible! Although we were nestled away and didn’t venture into town much, the few locals we did meet were so pleasant; that includes the property manager, Brock, who brought over fresh coconuts and demonstrated how to cut them. Such a treat! Donna, your kindness and hospitality is sincerely appreciated. We had an unforgettable trip and are beyond grateful you shared your tropical getaway with us! loved our stay this month at Donna & Fred's property in Casuarina Point. House is private, well appointed and the views cant be beat. Family enjoyed kayaking in the canal and the gorgeous beach is short walk. Best to stock up in Marsh Harbour on the way down as there are limited options on this part of the island. But local spot, Abaco Big Bird, is good for essentials. Jakes food truck - just down the road - is a GREAT option for nights you dont want to cook. We will definitely be back! Thanks!

We had such an incredible time at Donna's house. We work for an NGO, All Hands and Hearts, and have been staying in Marsh Harbour for a long time and took a week long break in Casuarina Point. Donna was an incredible host, super receptive and communicative about the property, as were Katrinka and Jason who help manage the properties. The place has beautiful outdoor deck space, a lovely indoor living area, and three good sized bedrooms. The parking area was also large and covered. We also had the pleasure of enjoying the Boston Whaler for the week and two kayaks to explore the channels and islands around the house. The property itself is at the end of a road which gives you great privacy and feels like a real get away, but is close enough that you can get back to town if you really need anything. The kitchen facilities were great and allowed us to cook some really nice family meals together. The entire place is homey but feels like a real vacation, and offered beautiful sunrise views. Overall it was the perfect respite, and the hospitality was certainly felt from afar. Thank you so much for the beautiful stay, and we would encourage anyone to rent this property! Thank you again!

The house is perfectly nestled on a secluded property with amazing views of the sunrise in the master bedroom and living area and view of the sunset in the back rooms. The house is beautiful decorated and has up to date appliances and kitchen tools to meet all of your home away from home needs. The home owners and care takers are very accessible and responsive to your needs. Really enjoyed our stay here. Would recommend to any family visiting Abaco.

Don't be fooled by the pictures on the website...house is WAY NICER in person, as is the property. Can't say enough about how comfortable the house is and that you can watch sunrise from bed in the master bedroom was wonderful! Donna was such a gracious hostess and super easy to deal with. Caretakers, Jason & Katrinka, couldn't have been nicer or easier to deal with. Fabulous experience.

I wanted to take my boys fishing before one heads back to college and the other starts school again. We usually do a trip to the Florida Keys, but this year we branched out. I found this house on VRBO and pulled the trigger. The house was perfect. A room for each of us, beautiful decor, and well appointed kitchen and appliances for the nights we cooked at home. The AC cooled the house down nicely, which is critical when it's so hot outside. The large, outdoor porch was also terrific for drinking a beer in the evening. The location is also incredible. We were completely secluded at the end of a mangrove canal leading to the bay and beach. We took the boat as part of the trip and used it multiple times a day. We fished the bay from one end to the other, made runs to the beach, snorkeled for conch when we needed bait, trolled the canal mouth for barracuda, etc. We were there for a week, and every other day we would make a run into Marsh Harbour for groceries, scuba diving, lunch or dinner. From what people said, I expected the road between Casaurina point and Marsh Harbour to be terrible, but its actually a good road. The trip into town never took more than 20 minutes, which was a breeze. The owners were also fantastic. They gave me a recommendation for a fishing charter (J.R.'s - well worth the money!), rental car (rental wheels - very reasonable prices and decent car), and tons of "do it yourself" fishing advice. So much advice, in fact, that we weren't able to hit all the spots. There were spots I wanted to fish, snorkel, swim, etc. that we just didn't have the time to get to. I guess this is a good excuse to visit again! And, while there was some rain and a few storms, we expect this in the islands and it didn't interfere with our outings. Overall, pretty much everything was perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better end-of-summer trip with my boys!

This property is a great spot if you want to be away from it all but not so far away that you don't have reasonable access to groceries and restaurants. The property is about 30 minutes from Marsh Harbour and is in a beautiful location. Having the boat and kayak's allows you to explore the area in a different way that only adds to the experience. The property manager and local caretakers were very attentive and made sure we had an excellent stay. Our only issue was having to leave and go back to the real world.

Abaco feels very safe, is clean compared to other islands, and the people are super nice. The main grocery store is great and you can buy conch, crabs, fish and fruit from local vendors near the KFC. Donna and Fred’s Tortuga Point House is very private but not secluded, spotless, the house/kitchen well equipped (sharp knifes we appreciated) and tastefully decorated, modern, comfortable and much larger than expected. The canal and beach are more beautiful than pictured and this is a fisherman’s paradise. Our 3 boys reached out to Fred about fishing prior to our arrival which secured us some great catches. We caught bone fish, groupers, snappers, sharks and other fish. The kayaks are great for fishing in the canal and we used the Whaler to explore the bay. We had a memorable vacation and we all want to return. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with us!

This is an amazing place that provides everything the Bahamas can offer. You can boat and kayak at your leisure around Cherokee Sound, relax on a private beach, or fish the day away. The house is clean, spacious, and the view is beautiful. I absolutely loved staying at this location and plan to be back in the future.
