We had a mini family reunion with two of my sisters and their families along with our family of 7 (one set of newlyweds). We were able to invite my sisters and families over for dinner and had a blast cooking dinners together. They enjoyed being able to hang out with us because their condos were smaller and didn't allow extra people to gather there. We also had fun watching movies and Cake or Fake on the wall projector in the living room and playing all kinds of games together - some camp style for everyone and others from those in the game closet. Plus lots of great books to read! We were able to walk everywhere and only used the car to visit Jekyll Island. Loved the outside shower, beach chairs and bikes. We didn't use the kayak or SUP, but will if we stay again. The beds were comfortable and it was so nice to have toiletries provided. Our dog Mojo also enjoyed the park across the street from the house and going to restaurants with us and getting a souvenir from Island Pets. Overall a fabulous experience with amazing hosts!

The property was centrally located for easy access to shops and the beach. The property was affordably priced. The owner was easy to reach if needed. I would recommend this property. Tom B.

This is the first vacation we have taken since Covid very first hit. I also had(he just passed) a small dog with a lot of health issues therefore, I did not feel comfortable leaving him with anyone. Everything about this home was perfect! Very roomy yet cozy, kitchen and living room were a great size to comfortably hang with our family, and best of all we were able to bring our two beloved dogs. The home was very pet friendly yet SO clean!! The owner Rob is wonderful to deal with. Very accommodating and does not mind going the extra mile to give rainy day suggestions that are perfect for your family at whatever age. Rob is very responsive when you call or text. The home is walking distance to the beach and to restaurants and shopping. I honestly can’t say enough great things. We will definitely plan to stay there again. We just spent a wonderful week on St Simons with our two daughters and their families. Rob and Shannon have a beautiful home that had ample space for all 8 of us (and our dachshund) and they were the perfect hosts. They checked in with us throughout the week to make sure we had everything we needed and when the upstairs AC got knocked out by a storm, they arranged to have it fixed within a day! We were only a few minutes walk from the beach and lots of restaurants and the dog loved chasing the squirrels in the park right across the street. There was a playground for the grandkids just down the street. And with all that, the home is in a quiet neighborhood where we had fun riding the bikes provided. During afternoon rainstorms, we played games or worked puzzles or sat on the lovely front porch visiting. We’re already thinking of going back again and would love to stay in the big, blue house a second time!

The house has great energy and the owners are super generous to open up their home (+ gear) to visitors. We rode the bikes every day, played games, cooked simple meals, enjoyed the home completely. The weather didn’t allow us to make use of the boat. We spent a holiday together and this space was a wonderful foundation for our vacation that included nightly sunset walks, beach exploration, SSI favorites, Jekyll island, Brunswick and more. We used to live on SSI so this was extra special for us to seamlessly visit our old lives and make new memories from the blue house on the park. Th location is perfect!!! We loved the porch and the painted tiles! The owners are delightful!

Perfect home for families and very dog friendly! No need to drive & find parking - easy walk to restaurants, play ground, dog park, and the pier. Wonderfully appointed home with everything you need! Nicely updated kitchen! Lots of games & puzzles for the family. Fenced yard & doggy door was great for our pups! We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home and neighborhood! The home is extremely well equipped and so very comfortable and spacious! Our 4 teenage daughters and two dogs had a fantastic time! We enjoyed tennis and basketball just a few blocks away and enjoyed scenic bike rides all around the island! We walked to delicious meals and yummy ice cream nightly! We highly recommend this lovely property!

We enjoyed our family vacation at this property. The owners were responsive and helpful during our stay. We enjoyed the bikes and took several rides for ice cream a few blocks away.

We had an amazing time on St Simmons and the house was perfect! Perfect distance to get away from the crowds but walking distance from all the excitement! My family and I all loved it and the hosts were great! They were a text away when we had trouble with the AC and they sent a serviceman right over and got it fixed! Will definitely be back!

We could walk to restaurants, shops, pier, Lighthouse, beach. Nice covered porch. We did opt to drive to 1st Street beach access. House has 4 bedrooms and a dining room table that seats 6/8. Table for 4 and barstools in kitchen. Lots and lots of games in closet. Lots of bikes and beach equipment in garage . Cart fit easily in bed of truck and we loaded it down. Big help! Owner checked on us early in the week. Would definitely stay their again.

We had a great time in this neighborhood! The park nearby was perfect to walk the dog or go to the village. Our kids loved riding bikes! The house had everything we needed and more!

This house worked great for our group. The first floor bedroom was perfect for my 80-year-old MIL and the upstairs accommodated the rest of us. Having bikes and beach chairs was a huge help. The kitchen was well-appointed for making Christmas dinner. We absolutely loved being able to bike to the pier and the beach. The front porch allowed us to greet the neighbors. And the weather was fantastic! We had never been to st. Simon’s, but we will be sure to return!

This becomes our home away from home. If you are coming with your family this is the best spot near the park, village and the beach.

The house had lots of room for our group. We had room to “be alone “ when space was needed. Location was on target. Beach was 4-5 blocks making it walkable or bike friendly. If you’re not knowledgeable of Firestick, the tv might be a challenge. We use Firestick at home so was no problem for us. The only recommendation we have is it might be helpful to label the light switches. Definitely will return. We’ve even considered a full month.

What a fabulous house! The location was perfect. You can walk to anywhere even with small ones. Great bike and walking paths. The neighborhood is beautiful and very friendly. We loved our stay!!

This property was just what we were looking for! The close proximity to everything was awesome and allowed us to park our cars and leave them. The owners were great and super accommodating. We look forward to booking again!

A lovely and spacious home located near a wonderful park. Children and dog enjoyed the short walk to the village, beach, and pier. The home was very comfortable and up to date on technology as well.

We love this house, the location and the neighbors! We didn’t want to leave. The Henry’s home has everything you need and want. We can’t wait to stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The park across the street was great! The walk to the beach was quick and easy. We appreciated the use of the beach items in your garage, and the plethora of children and family games were utilized every night as we wound down. The front porch was a great way to start and end the day. Definitely a relaxing home!

We had the best time at this property. It was very well appointed, and the rooms were spacious and clean. There were more than adequate number of bathrooms for our group (4 moms/4 kids). There is even a master on main!!! This made it great because a member of our troop had hurt her foot just the day before. We were within close walking or biking distance from the village and it's only a mile or so to a lovely public beach at Masengale Park. All in all...a GREAT experience...just what we needed.

We stayed for a week over Christmas. Beautiful neighborhood with mature trees. House was homey and peaceful, yet very short walking distance to lots of restaurants, shops, light house, pier and the beach. Great dog friendly neighborhood and beach. Our dog had a great time at the park across from the house and at the beach. Everyone we met was dog friendly. Also, tennis courts, basketball court and nice playground are just steps away. Rental had everything we needed. Kitchen was fully equipped. We will definitely return. Thank you Rob and Shannon for sharing your home with us. We had a great time!

Great property, walked my dogs to the beach every morning. So nice to have the fenced yard. Walked to the village is easy. Highly recommend this property.

We had a great time staying at this property. It’s a great location to the village easy walk or bike ride to all the shops and restaurants. A little bit more of a hike to the beach but defiantly worth the stay.

Rob and Sharron were great hosts. 9 of us stayed the week and loved it. Well stocked house and garage. We drove the truck with all the gear to the public parking off 12 th street. Just steps to the beach. Bring some golf balls or bocce balls. Perfect beach. Lighthouse and ww2 museum were great. Sunset cruise was awesome. The porch at the house and a glass of wine was the best.

This was our first time to the island and I’m very thankful that you opened your home to us. The location could not have been better. Sitting on the front porch looking at the old oaks covered in Spanish moss was a magical way to end each day. The directions and recommendations you provided were spot on and we really appreciate it. This home had everything we needed and more and we are already planing our next stay. Thank you.
