What do you look for when booking a Colorado getaway? Beauty? Check - great views of Likes Peak. Comfort? Check. This whole house was comfortable and very well appointed. Size? Check. There were 14 of us and one bed wasn't even used! Closeness to Colorado Springs? Check. We got most places in 15 minutes. Space to spread around? Check. With 20 people at multiple meals, they have three separate places to eat! As nice a stay as we could hope for.

Perfect house for gathering of friends and family. Awesome view of the mountains and just a few minutes from USAFA and Colorado Springs. Kitchen is VERY well stocked with cooking and serving ware. Lisa and Steve are great with check in/out communication.

This place is a gorgeous haven tucked into the foothills of the Rockies. The hosts were an absolute gem! They are kind, quick to answer questions and help, and truly have a giving heart. There are so many places to gather and enjoy the views. Our favorite was the front porch! We will absolutely stay here again if we are ever in the area!

This property is beautiful. Lots of room for multiple families - outdoor areas - eating together. Totally prepared the downstairs garage for us to prepare flowers for our wedding. Got us everything we needed and went above and beyond. You feel secluded and yet close to cute coffee shop- pizza place and only 10-15 minutes to a Super Target. We highly recommend this home!!!

We had a wonderful get away with our adult children and grandchildren. We felt very welcome by our host family! The house is beautiful, in a gorgeous setting. Our grandkids enjoyed the play area, and the big yard! We all enjoyed the big deck where we watched the hummingbirds get up close and personal. Our family enjoys cooking together, and found it a delight to use the huge kitchen, equipped with everything we needed, plus a huge selection of beautiful dishes use. The house was very clean, and Lisa even made sure the little ones had a bin full of animals, and blocks to play with. We enjoyed hiking in the area as well has just hanging out as a family. This suited our family of 16 very easily.

Our stay at Lisa's property in Black Forest, Co. was nothing short of phenomenal. The ambiance of the property is exactly like the online photos. Lisa, was a great host. She was always personally available when needed, communication was on point, and readily provided information about the residence and the community. Lisa's property was more than adequate in meeting our needs as family of 16. We really enjoyed ourselves at this property. We were comfortable and safe.

Our son and fiancé planned their wedding in Colorado Springs. We’re based in Omaha, NE and had family and friends coming from all over: Arizona, Indiana, Florida, and needed a home base. This house was perfect for our group and even served as the rehearsal dinner venue. Lisa & Steve went out of their way to accommodate our needs for our dinner. The grounds are beautiful and the home is definitely a special place. We had 12 adults staying with double that for the dinner. Everyone commented on what a great VRBO we found. Thank you for a very special place for us to remember this weekend!

My family and I stayed at this lovely property during our thanksgiving vacation since CO is a central location for us all. We had a total of 14 guests and there was more than enough room for everyone. The host Lisa was so helpful and friendly and even made sure we had high chairs, a crib, and toys for the small children and baby. The location was fantastic. Close to everything while feeling like you were out of the city completely, we even saw deer running through the property a few times. The view of the mountains from the primary bedroom and main floor balcony was so beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, pots, pans, dishes, everything you might need to cook and/or entertain. We sincerely enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to everyone. If I’m being picky the only things I could say that would make it better is if they had one more queen bed instead of a double but that’s just really nitpicking the little things. Thank you so much Lisa for being so kind and allowing us to use your home as our home during the holiday!

This property was the perfect fit for our family. We held our son's Rehearsal dinner outside on the lawn and it was a beautiful setting. Our entire family stayed at the house and there was plenty of room for everyone. Steve and Lisa were wonderful hosts, making sure we had everything we needed and checking in often. This place was a big help in making our stay for the wedding a total success!

Lisa & Steve have an incredible property, and they provided everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We stayed in close communication in the months, weeks, and days leading up to check-in, and Lisa and Steve followed up with us to ensure we were well taken care of during our stay and after check out. The property was exactly what we needed to retreat and get away from it all, but still feel connected enough to the city to explore all it has to offer!

This was the ideal setting for a forest wedding with no time limits on your big day. We rented the property for our out of town families to join us for a two-day wedding celebration. lt was the ideal authentic Colorado setting with peaceful mountain views, and gorgeous sunsets off the deck every night. Our guests enjoyed a wide selection of bedrooms on three different levels with enough privacy for multiple families. The owners were extremely flexible with our decorating, agenda, and where we chose our setting on their expansive property. They also allowed us access before the wedding to see/plan our big day, as well as being very accessible to answer all questions anytime of day. The large kitchen was extremely well stocked with all our kitchen needs for a reception dinner. This was better than any venue I could find with it's flexibility to plan your dream wedding! We had compliment after compliment on the entire concept of this venue. A very special place it is......

We stayed at Lisa & Steve's beautiful home for a week at the end of May. Upon arrival, we were greeted with delicious, homemade, freshly baked coffee cake. Both Lisa & Steve always kept lines of communication open from booking through our stay, ensure we had everything we needed. The photos depict the property perfectly. There are amazing views of Pikes Peak from both the upper and main levels of the home. The property is quiet with lots of room to access outside areas to enjoy the Colorado weather with loved ones. We all had plenty of room and everyone had their own private space. The house is convenient to town and well equipped to meet all of your needs while away from home. Steve & Lisa truly try to make this your home away from home. We and our loved ones really enjoyed our time in Colorado and the comfort of home that the Brandts and this house provided.

Lisa and Steve were great hosts and VERY attentive to our needs. Lisa went above and beyond to help us with details for our daughter's wedding plans and venue searching. She is a gem!! The house was clean, spacious and met all our needs wonderfully, from the 11 guests to the rehearsal dinner. Everyone had room to spread out and visit without feeling restricted. It was perfect!! We had a great time at this house. Lisa and her family were awesome!! Great bonuses when we arrived. Lisa was great at communicating with us, weather was a bit crazy the week were there. House was beautiful, clean and very spacious. The view was AMAZING!!! it was very close to a lot of fun things to do and Lisa got us brochures for things we were planning on doing. Our family of 10 had a great time and there was so much space that we could get away from each other if we needed. Kitchen was amazing. Room to cook and visit with others. Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area!!!

Beautiful and spacious home.!! My family and extended family stayed here for our mini vacation. Plenty of room for each individual considering the amount of guest that stayed here. Plenty of towels and linens were provided by owners. The kids enjoyed the abundant amount of books and games that we're made available for their use. The home made bread and flowers left on counter top for us by the owners made us feel welcomed. Kitchen was well stocked with items for us to use during our stay. Being able to walk out the kitchen door and see the beautiful scenery including their backyard and Pikes Peak was breath taking. The rental process was stress free thanks to Lisa. She always responded in a timely manner and was very informative. She gave us recommendations on places to visit during our stay. Steve even contacted us on our first night to make sure we we're doing ok and reminded us if there's anything we needed not to hesitate to call. Those gestures we're greatly appreciated. Lisa and Steve went above and beyond to help make our stay in their home a pleasant one. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone that is planning to visit Colorado.

We stayed at this property from June 27 - July 2 with my family and my wife's sister and brother in-law's family. There were at first a total of eleven of us and then for the remainder of the stay ten. I say at first, because, the purpose of the trip was to drop off my oldest daughter at the United States Air Force Academy. When we were planning our trip, we didn't just want to stay in a hotel. We wanted a home away from home to give us some quality family time together prior to my daughters in processing, and some tranquility afterwards. All I have to say is Wow!!! Steve and Lisa surely delivered on this. First, we arrived in the area very late at night with no issues. Steve came out and met us and showed us around. The house is more amazing than the pictures. We were floored at the beauty and decor as we went from one room to another. Everything was perfect and clean as well as warm and comfortable. A great finishing touch is the care in which freshly baked coffee cake (courtesy of Steve and Lisa's daughter) was provided for our first morning. Very yummy and we gobbled it up that day. Since we arrived at night, we were unable to appreciate the beautiful property and views. So, what a treat to wake up early, go on the back porch and absorb the wonderful views of Pikes Peak and the USAFA. I loved drinking my coffee out there every morning and enjoyed the many hummingbirds who frequent the feeder. Anything you can think of is provided. Towels, sheets, seasonings, firewood, milk, etc... Just a quick run to the grocery to pick up what you want to eat and you are good to go. Our stay here is exactly what we needed for our emotional rollercoaster of a trip. Please do not hesitate to stay here. I promise you everything will be great. Steve and Lisa...Thank you, thank you, and thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This home is absolutely beautiful and located in a serene, gorgeous location! The house was very well equipped and the owners went above an beyond to make us welcome. We very much enjoyed sitting on the back deck watching the hummingbirds, listening to the birds and enjoying great mountain views. We could even see the Air force Academy Chapel from the deck. We also saw deer and antelope! Even though the location felt remote, we were located where there was easy access to grocery stores and the sites in Denver and Manitou Springs. The house was very family friendly but at the same time felt very luxurious (loved the towels). The furnishings were beautiful as well as comfortable. The kitchen was large enough that the whole family could work together making dinner. We just loved the house and location. Thank you so much!

We had a fantastic stay at Steve and Lisa's home. I spoke with Lisa before our arrival and she provided us with a list of places to hike and places to see during our time in Colorado Springs. Steve greeted our group at the house upon our arrival to show us around and stopped by during our stay to feed the chickens. He was available by phone, but there was never a need to contact him. Fresh flowers and homemade bread were nice treats. My family that included 2 sets of grandparents, 2 couples and 7 grandchildren felt at home. Our family met in Colorado from Arizona and Wisconsin. There were plenty of beds for my family. One set of grandparents slept in twin beds, which worked out fine for the week. Every morning we enjoyed coffee on the back deck. There was plenty of seating inside to enjoy meals, but we enjoyed the space and seating outside on the deck. The kitchen was stocked with some basics. It was nice to have seasonings available when we grilled out burgers one evening. We had pizza delivered and enjoyed Mexican another night--both suggestions from our hosts. Overall, we were comfortable and felt at home during our time in Colorado Springs.
