Always a pleasure staying here. Cannot beat the location and the layout of the condo. Fits our needs perfectly. Sheryl is a great host. Repeat customers, already booked again next year.

Just spent a week at this property, the condo is well stocked with plenty of cookware, dishes etc.. toys and beach chairs. We had a wonderful stay. Only got to use the pool the first few days then it was closed off so they could get the chemicals right. It was the first week it opened since the hurricane damage so i was grateful for the days we were able to use it.

Very nice and good floor plan. Corner unit makes it most attractive.

We enjoyed our stay at Sanibel very much. I picked this particular condo because it was a corner unit, and we were not disappointed. The views were awesome. The condo was decorated beautifully, and we had lots of space. Even though the condo is located on the drive on portion of the beach, I especially liked being able to walk out of the garage and onto the non-drive on beach right next to us. We were disappointed that the pool did not get completed, but all of our family enjoyed watching the construction going on. The noise was not bad, especially inside. This is our first time staying at Daytona Beach Shores. We normally stay at New Smyrna Beach and have for years. Daytona Beach Shores is very similar to New Smyrna, very family oriented. The condo is conveniently located to the grocery store, shopping and entertainment. We visited Bongo Land for the first time ever. We had no idea that it was even there. Part of our family was in another corner unit on the same floor. The grands loved seeing the dinosaur replicas there and the gardens were wonderful.

The condo was exactly as it was listed. The location was great which was the last condo on the beach where cars could drive. We were able to walk a short distance and enjoy no traffic on the beach. The condo was very clean and had great views from the 4th floor. We really enjoyed the high-top chairs and table on the deck. The parking spot was awesome, right by the entry to the elevators. Mike the Maintenance Manager and the Sanibel staff really took pride in keeping the property clean. While we did not get a chance to meet our host, Sheryl was very responsive to all emails and text messages. One improvement needed is the WIFI. The download and upload speeds are very weak. Download was around 30Mbps and upload was less than 10Mbps. One disappointment was hearing from other guests the larger discount they received for the pool and hot tub being damaged. There was significant hurricane damage to the pool and hot tub area so this was closed to us for the month. We did receive a 2.5% credit for the month. In talking with others that stayed, they received 10-15% discounts due to the damage. Overall, the stay was great. The weather was perfect and the condo was very nice. We hope to be back to the area next year.

The condo itself was great. It was as advertised, comfortable and clean. My guess is that it’s probably one of the nicer units in the building. Unfortunately, the condominium amenities were not up to par. We knew the pool deck, pool and beach entrance were not in service prior to our arrival. What we didn’t know was the elevators were not dependable. Specifically, they were out of service for an entire week. Holidays or not, that’s not acceptable. In addition, guest (2nd car) parking was difficult, at best. There are 65 units with guest parking for 23 cars in front. This includes 2 handicapped spaces. To top it off, we were awoken at 4:30 a.m. one morning and had to go outside while the fire department came to turn off a false alarm. Don’t expect a discount for your troubles. Needless to say, we won’t be staying at Sanibel, again.
