Great place to stay. Perfect location. Only gripe was carpet in bedroom could use some cleaning or even be replaced.

My wife, 10 year old daughter, and I just got home after a 4 night stay. We really enjoyed it and would stay again. It’s a very busy area of Mission Beach, and it can be noisy, but we loved the liveliness of the area. It’s literally steps from the sand and it comes equipped with beach chairs, towels, and plenty of odds and ends to enjoy days at the beach. The bedroom is small, but the bed was comfy and the pull out sofa was great for a 10 year old. I think a family of 4 would feel a little cramped though. Incredibly easy check in and quick responses from the owner.

We enjoyed being above the crowd but still able to see the ocean and hear the music. Close enough to enjoy the amenities yet also have quiet inside when needed.

This was perfect for our small family. We were able to watch street performers from the balcony, and were literally steps from the beach.

Check in process was easy. They were kind enough to let me in early since my flight was early. Views were breathtaking. So much to do nearby. We went to the beach/amusement park/pacific beach/ several local pubs. It was a great experience and o hope to stay here again

If you like a comfortable stay and enjoy being in the middle of it all, this is the location for you. I stayed with my husband and dog for 6 nights and enjoyed the stay, especially: the nearby restaurants (Sandbar and Cannonball were fantastic), a relaxing swim at the Plunge, daily walks on the bay and beach, cruising the boardwalk on rented bikes and skateboards, sailing on the bay, and the ocean views and people watching from the balcony. The kitchen and bathroom are also very well appointed. Communication with the property owner was excellent, from the information provided in advance to the book of information in the rental.

The apartment is well appointed and very clean and comfortable. The location is terrific - close to restaurants and shops - and steps from the beach. You can't beat it. Great people watching. Would stay there again.

The property was cozy and clean. Perfect location to enjoy all the beach has to offer, as well as Belmont Park. The sofa bed is a bit small, but it got the job done. Definitely would rent again. Very happy with this property.

Very clean and literally steps from the beach. Small unit but it had all the amenities we needed. The parking spot made a huge difference. Loved this place.

My wife, grandson, and I really enjoyed our stay. Being right across the beach was awesome, food near by, and close to all of San Diego attractions, Enjoyed three days on the beach and a day at the San Diego Zoo. Was a effect and relaxing vacation and would book again,!

The location was perfect, the place was super clean with everything you need and more. Washer Dryer, portable chairs for the beach, beach towels and a portable umbrella which made this stay one of a kind was we enjoyed the beach life. Thank you Claudia.

I have been to Cali many many times and have stayed everywhere.... This property is hands down my favorite of all times! Not only is the place itself clean and beautiful, the location is prime. We could have stayed in and people watched the whole trip. Claudia the owner is what really made the trip for us.. The communication and promptness responding was awesome. Shes pretty much my new friend even though she doesn't know it yet :) I will be planning my next trip in the larger room and excited to bring our kids.

Glad the area shut down at 8-9; would have been loud if people could stay out all night.

This location is perfect to watch the community wake up. Its steps to the board walk and beach. The store owners are all very help full and there is many kinds of food to choose from if you want to eat out. The apartment is well laid out to maximize utilization of space. It has many amenities and was very clean. For those few hours in the middle of the day when things were busy outside we gladly retreated to the apartment to relax and people watch from the balcony. We would love to visit again someday.

Perfect location. Great place! We loved our stay! Only suggestion, bigger gold out couch. Was a bit tight even for a kid. Otherwise everything else was awesome! Had everything we needed for an awesome getaway!

Shared property with family who had rented other unit. Perfect for small reunion. Balcony well appointed. Unit nicely furnished. Be aware that it is busy location so there is some street/beach noise. If you want quiet seclusion not your spot. Owner good to work with. Very pleased.

Clean, comfy, and great location! As people have said before parking is tight but hay we had parking...Its perfect for a couples getaway and you can walk to everything. ..Had a wonderful time!

It was as advertised. Nice location, close to everything we wanted to see- a good home base to come back to at night. Would highly recommend this property to anybody wanting to stay right on the beach and feel at home. Jeff and Diane Nikkel

Our family of 4 loved our stay here. We’ve been staying annually in Mission Beach for years, but this locale was by far the most convenient if you want beach access that’s right on the middle of action, right off the boardwalk, with a beach/ocean view from the kitchen, living room and (small, but sufficient for two) patio. We stayed days before/after NYE so the area was pretty active, esp on holiday and weekends. We knew it would be a tight fit with four, but made it work. The photos showed upgraded features and those were all pretty accurate. Other nice features/surprises were the electric heater in the living room (we were there Dec/Jan), double sinks in bathroom, dual shower heads and everything very clean and upgraded. We didn’t use any beach gear since it was cool weather, but we appreciated the outdoor shower for the one time we rinsed off sand. Our minivan fit fine in the reserved parking too. Claudia was also very responsive. We’d love to stay again.

The room was perfect. Very clean. Very updated.

Very good location, directly on the boardwalk. Close to restaurants, shops and convenience stores. Very comfortable bed! Suitable for 2 people or couple and small child. A playpen can squeeze into the bedroom. The pull out couch would fit a child, it is probably too small for an adult. There were a couple of leakage problems during our stay due to a big storm, but Claudia was very easy to communicate with and fixed the problem as soon as possible.

We loved the location of this property! It was nicely decorated and very clean! The fold down loveseat is small-our 8 & 10 year old barely fit. The area can be noisy-but that's mostly because of it's proximity to Belmont Park across the street-and it didn't bother us at all (especially if you use the ac). There's also air traffic noise as the airport is only a few miles away. Again, didn't bother us. We found a Sprouts not far away to buy groceries for the week. We loved having beach chairs, toys, and towels right here, as well as laundry machines. I would have loved more comfortable furniture for relaxing (collapsing) in at the end of the day, but it probably wouldn't fit. We thought it was a wonderful value and would absolutely love to stay here again!

This is a great property and Claudia was easy to work with! The unit is clean, comfortable and well equipped. We found everything we needed for our stay. The communication before our visit was timely and clear. Claudia gave great driving instructions to the parking, which sounds complicated, but once you see it it's quite easy. She also provided clear instruction for getting into the unit and using the TV /cable system. The bed is ridiculously comfortable! And there are lots of pillows to choose from! The drawbacks, because every place has some, the deck is tiny. Not a surprise, you can tell from the photos, but it is tiny. The loveseat us super uncomfortable to sit on. It does make into a bed and there is a cushion provided if you plan to sue it as such, but as seating it's really hard. However, you are literally steps from the beach so get outside! We were here during a major heatwave and used the AC unit in the bedroom. It worked great! Otherwise, the fans provided circulate the ocean breezes and the temps are comfortable. As for sound, we stayed Wednesday thru Sunday and didn't have any issues. You can hear people on the boardwalk, but it wasn't disruptive or intrusive. They really have thought of everything you need in this rental. I highly recommend if you are looking to be close to the ocean! And the boardwalk makes for great people watching😉�!

Overall stay was good, not much happening on boardwalk, probably due to weather, only few restaurants nearby. We enjoyed the balcony & watching activity. Jake & Skylar great & helpfull.
