This house has a nice layout and is beautifully decorated. We love to cook, and the kitchen is so well equipped and had everything we needed to prepare any meal we wanted. There are water views from all the porches which is so nice but it is a short walk to the beach. We had small children so next time we will rent a cart or two to pull all the supplies or even the kids. We will definitely stay here again.

This was our first time in Emerald Isle, and this house didn’t disappoint! If you love the beach, this home is for you: beautiful ocean views from the third floor deck with nice ocean breezes, sound views from back deck, plenty of outside space to enjoy including porch swings, close beach access, ceiling fans in every room, nicely and tastefully decorated…I could go on and on. We just returned home today, and I feel so relaxed. All the stress melted away as soon as I stepped inside the Finnish Line. Property owner was so nice and responsive, too! I would definitely recommend this home for some R&R!

Beautiful home inside and out! Perfect size for my family (3 adult children, spouse and 2 young grandchildren). The home looked as pictured and met all our expectations. The kitchen was was well stocked and all the beds were very comfortable. We loved sitting around the tables on the outside porches in the mornings for breakfast and evenings for happy hour. Three of the porches were set up with comfortable porch swings or rocking chairs. The ocean breeze and views made it an even more relaxing gathering spot. The location was perfect for a family with small children. Quick walk to the beach and short drive to grocery store and restaurants. We enjoyed walking back to the beach to watch the sunset. Make sure to bring your camera! The sunsets were spectacular. Our stay and vacation were both 5 Star. We would highly recommend this home!

Beautiful home & great location!

Our family has been coming to Emerald Isle for years and love returning to The Point as it offers wide uncrowded beaches and access to shopping and restaurants on and off island. We’ve stayed at Finnish Line multiple times and it has become our go to for our annual vacation, offering well cared for and updated indoor and outdoor spaces. We’re looking forward to returning next year!

Our family has stayed at the Finnish Line for many years and it has become like a home away from home! It's perfect for our family of eight! We loved the many updates, both inside and outside, that made the home feel so welcoming. As always, the house was spotless and immaculate. The kitchen was well stocked, even with a large enough pot to make our family beach favorite- Frogmore Stew. The location is perfect, with a short walk to the beach, breathtaking views and lots of bike riding routes. The owners were incredibly accommodating and made us feel like family. We appreciate them sharing their beautiful home with us and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

We arrived and the house hadn't been cleaned. The response I received from the property management company was "well you're early". It was 2:45 (3:00 official check in time) and the owner had told us we were good to go and given us the code. A very nice woman and young man arrived to clean about 20 minutes later as an emergency crew. They spent about an hour and were very apologetic. They tried their best but there were still dirty sheets left on one of the beds, hair on the bathroom floors and overall it felt rushed and unclean all week. I had tried to contact the owner through VRBO but messages never went through- I assume they turned that feature off so property management could handle issues. Disappointing start to our trip but the location was lovely.

My family and I have stayed at this property since 2007 and have enjoyed every trip. The house is spacious, clean, and situated in the perfect spot where the ocean meets the sound.

Excellent location, very clean and well stocked rental home. Great views and close to the beach and other associated activities. Bill was a great host and very responsive.

We loved this home! One of the best homes we have stayed in on the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked. It made cooking family meals easy and enjoyable. The home was large but cozy. Lots of outdoor spaces to sit and talk with family. The views were wonderful. It was an easy walk to the beach....even with small children. The beach was incredible. Lovely sunsets. Everything was great! We had to wait about 30 minutes past our scheduled check-in, because the cleaning crew had to finish. However, the home was clean and pleasant. We will definitely return. Thank you for a great trip!

We have rented this home for several years. The location is perfect, weather gorgeous, and the sunsets are spectacular. The owners have equipped this home with everything you will need and it’s just so inviting that you never want to leave. We look forward to our stay here in EI every time we come - usually every other year - and it never disappoints!!

The house and location fit our needs and we wanted a fairly remote section of Emerald Isle to relax and keep ourselves distanced with kids still not vaccinated. Expect a fairly long trek to the ocean but well worth being at the Point. Would definitely book again in the future.

We loved The Finnish Line! We spent a week with our 3 grown children and 2 of their significant others and had a wonderful week. This was our first visit to Emerald Isle and did not know first hand what to expect. The house description and photos were accurate. It's a beautiful, comfortable, well equipped home just a short walk to the beach. We highly recommend and would definitely stay at the Finnish Line again!

Great week

We had an amazing time in Emerald Isle; the weather and the house were both fantastic. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and so the cooks in the family were happy, and we enjoyed eating almost every meal out on the decks, where there were delightful breezes and beautiful views. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. We could not have asked for anything more!

If I could give The Finnish Line 100 stars, I would. The house is immaculate and the owners have thought about all of the details that make your stay comfortable and easy. The kitchen is stocked with all of the comforts of home. The house is situated on a quiet street that is a short walk from both the beach and the bay which are stunning. At times we felt like we were on our own private island. It is truly a magical place. We are counting down the days until we can come back.

Wonderful spacious home. Breeze and ocean views from multiple covered porches with swings. We cooked all meals in well supplied kitchen and enjoyed outdoor grill. This beautiful clean well maintained home, comfy beds, fast internet and great location made for a memorable birthday and reunion. We especially enjoyed bike rides and long walks on the beach.

We had a lovely time here. The beach was a 10 minute walk and the property included beach toys and boogie boards for the young ones. Also beautiful and well maintained property with lots of dishes and kitchen tools made staying in to cook very easy. Would definitely come back.

We were on EI for our son’s wedding; staying at this house was effortless. The kitchen is well stocked with everything a cook could possibly need, and the bedrooms are very comfortable.
