The main photo of the ocean views was a zoomed in picture so the beach is further than anticipated. The plumbing issues caused us to have no hot water to shower on the last day and night that we were there. The gas was turned off to our stove top and oven on one day. The pilot light on the heater was not lit so we could not turn on the heat. A barking dog in the neighbors yard was unpleasant. The place was immaculate and kudos to the cleaning crew. Bring your own bath soap.

We needed extra space for family at Christmas and Matt’s place was just right: great price and location and comfortable stay.

The heater in this rental is very old and has a CONSTANT noise and every approximate hour or so a LOUD bang which really startled us the first couple of times and then we just put up with it. We have several vacation rentals that we manage and also own in Hawaii and they are well stocked with essentials such as soap, shampoo, conditioner etc. in the shower this rental had NONE. Two rolls of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels causing us to conserve and ended up barely being enough, two coffee mugs so I used a glass for my coffee. The access was blocked two nights so we had to park on the street and a white car at the bottom of the alley way at times was parked so close to the narrow alley way we scraped the bottom of the front bumper going over a jagged piece of concrete. The communication by the host was not performed by the host in a timely manner. There is a dog next door that barks quite a bit at different times of any given day. We stayed at three other rentals while on this trip and gave them a 5 Starr rating because they were well stocked in fact two of them were “over the top”. This rental is overpriced in a crowded compact neighborhood the three homes around it are approximately 25 feet away and this rental is quite old with a noisy heater.

we enjoyed the beautiful sunset from the window and the outside lounge area. the place was perfect for our family of two. We hope to visit again!

Walking distance to necessities, including family!

This location was perfect for visiting LA and beyond, our trip stretched from Ventura to San Diego. It was nice to be able to walk down to the beach and to local restaurants and shops. Nice to have the garage, a full kitchen and laundry facilities. The only thing I that could make it better would be a ceiling fan in the bedroom for hotter days and a laundry basket. Be careful pulling I to the driveway with a low car and be on the lookout for the skunk that can sometimes be in the small yard.

Such a great treehouse bungalow! View of ocean and sunset, private raised patio, garage parking and every amenity we needed. Walked to pier and surrounding areas. Our only wish was for more local restaurants and a grocery within walking distance. Trader Joe’s and tons of restaurants and bars within a few miles drive though-We will be back!

It comes with your own garage parking spot which was a big bonus. While we only had to reach out to the owner a couple times to ask questions, he was always very quick to respond. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this VRBO property in Redondo Beach. It was extremely clean which made me feel very comfortable. We had everything we needed, but property was not cluttered, but well supplied. Washer and Dryer were a nice convenience.

We enjoyed our stay in South Redondo. Great location! Easy to walk to the, water front, coffee shop and grocery. My husband enjoyed being back in his childhood neighborhood. Thanks for the enjoyable stay!

This flat is cozy and well located. We had a pleasant time there, is walking distance to Redondo Beach Pier and waterfront.

My sisters and I stayed here for our California sisters trip! This was the perfect spot for us. The neighborhood was extremely clean and safe! Matt always replied very quickly and had an easy check in / check out process. The location was also great - easy/short drives to nearby beaches including Hermosa, Venice, and Santa Monica. We also travelled to Malibu for a day and the drive was less than an hour! It was also a great location to travel to LA and the Hollywood area - 40 min to an hour drive away. We loved coming back to this quant area to relax after busy days of traveling and exploring. Just be aware that there is no AC. This wasn’t a problem for us because we were gone during the heat of the day, and at night it cooled down to a comfortable temperature. We would definitely stay here again!

Los Angeles is a big and busy city and it was great to come back to South Redondo every evening for a peaceful rest to get ready for the next exciting day. The beach & pier area nearby was great when we wanted to have a quiet day away from the more crowded Venice and Santa Monica beaches. We loved our stay !

The property was exactly as advertised. It was very clean and everything worked. We even used the heater a couple of mornings (even though we’re from Minnesota). Matt was easy to work with. Questions were answered quickly Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean The kitchen has what you’d need for cooking though we didn’t. You do want a smaller car to fit into the garage easily. We had a Corolla and it was perfect. Great location in town short walk to the pier and even closer to a couple of Thai restaurants and the Cosy Cafe on the PCH. Bring your appetite to the Cosy (and cash). Refonfo beach made a great home base to explore Hermosa Beach, LA, Hollywood, Santa Anita Park and Laguna Beach. Recommend the beachcomber cafe in Newport Beach and crystal cove state park A bit of work to get to it but worth it. Again, we loved the place and would stay here again in a minute. The neighborhood is safe and very family oriented.

Very cozy option to stay near the beach in a nice quiet neighborhood. Loved the convenience of having a full kitchen as well as a washer and dryer.
