Visiting Oneida and enjoyed a long weekend at the house. Was traveling with my husband, 2 adult children and a friend. The house was clean and has all the amenities that we needed. We enjoyed using the kayaks and hanging by the lake. The location was convenient and nice restaurants near by.

Has everything you need for a few days away with your family. We loved kayaking and the view of the lake. The only thing could be better is the distance from the road. The house is too close to the main road. Don't let the outside look of the property deter you from going, because the inside is cute, clean, with AC and two TVs. The hanging lights outside make it very cozy.

We had a great time .. Todd was a great host. He was there if we needed him. The house was everything we had hoped for. The lake access was great .. the kayaks .. the view!!! We would definitely rent this place again. It was a great vacation.

Good size chunk of property lots of room to spread out. Host is on site and very accommodating. House has everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

The host went out of his way to make the property hospitable with little herb and vegetable patches. He was extremely responsive when we identified a cleaning issue. Outside of his control, the geese too love the property.
The house is old and the floors uneven. The steps to the upstairs are steep. The front porch is sagging. The back flagstones, too, offer uneven stepping. These pose some mobility challenges for the youngest and eldest of us.
We found the furniture and lighting uncomfortable for reading or knitting.

My family had a glorious week here! Sitting by the lake, regardless of weather was relaxing and beautiful. Luckily the weather was nice enough out last day to take out the kayaks. The house was comfortable and accommodating, with the r owners onsite it was great for any questions we had. Overall we had a great vacation and will definitely book again!

Todd is an absolutely phenomenal host! Excellent communication and very responsive to our needs. We arrived late at night during a heat wave and he had the ac running for us. Our family enjoyed swimming and kayaking in the beautiful lake. Wonderful vacation!

The host was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area…. Good places to eat, grocery shop and tackle & bait stores. He was very helpful with our first time at Lake Oneida. The home was well cared for, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would go back again!!!

Great Weekend
Great little cabin! Perfect for a quick family get away!! Great shallow swim area for kids tough for boats but worked out ok for a pontoon with a trolling motor on the front! Would definitely stay again!

Short Family Trip
We had a great time at Todd’s Guest House. Super quaint and cute for our short 2 night stay. Thanks for Todd for being so accommodating. Kids loved the tire swing the most and mom and dad enjoying watching them from the screened in porch.

Another Great Stay
We first discovered this place last year and couldn’t wait to come back. The water is shallow and warm and just a great place for young and older kids to play, explore and swim.

Awesome camp and owner
Our family had a wonderful time. Todd, the owner was fantastic and very accommodating. The camp was very clean as were the grounds. We even had access to a garden and enjoyed the fresh veggies. We would definitely stay again. Even though Todd lives next door we never had a problem with privacy but when needed he was right there. 😊👍😎

Great place to relax.
We had a wonderful 4 night stay here. It was just the 2 of us but the house can accommodate a family. Todd is a great host who lives next door. He is very friendly and help but not intrusive. The house is not modern but does have everything we needed. We enjoyed watching all the birds and local wildlife. My husband enjoyed using the kayaks. We did have a lot of rain during our stay but with the enclosed screen porch to relax in and the games and dish TV we were never bored. We would definitely rent the house again.

Clean, quaint lakefront property
Huge yard, rare for Oneida Lake. We made use of the kayaks that the owner provides. Very clean and comfortable. The host goes above and beyond. This is our 3rd or 4th time renting and it just keeps exceeding our expectations

great boating/fishing lake
We had a nice time. The lake is BIG and wavy and good for boating (you can rent a powerboat at angler's bay). The house is a bit run down, but it does the trick for a lake vacation. Lots of things to do nearby - Syracuse, mini golf, parks, etc.

Great Location and Todd was a great host
Couldn't ask for more in a stay. Todd was fantastic and really helped giving us information on local items (fishing, eating, fireworks for the 4th). We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back. Maybe in the winter this time to ice fish!

The property was as pictured clean, warm ,spacious. T he owner was very nice and was helpful to us a few times. I would recommend this place to anyone and will book again next season. Good job .

Nice view of the lake, easy lake access. Close to stores. Close to bait shops and launch. Comfortable for the 4 iof us. Fully stocked kitchen. It was 2°, -16° windchill and very warm. Good shower. Felt safe and comfortable knowing the owner lives next door. Clean. Great screened in porch. Nice fire pit and gas grill that we used. Todd is very friendly and cordial.

Simple and Cozy
Nothing fancy, but quiet and comfortable. Plenty of hot water, all the appliances work, WiFi is good, convenient to get to Syracuse.
The owner communicated while we were on the way. He had the doors open, porch light on, and the heater turned on before we arrived. They were nice touches to help us get settled.

Great property
We traveled as a group of adults for a long weekend getaway. It was a great choice. It was clean and a perfect place for us to relax. It was a bit closer to the main road than we realized but it made for easy travel to the other side of the lake. We visit the winery listed and utilized the canoe and kayaks provided. Overall we had a great stay!

Great Pandemic Get Away!
Cottage was very comfortable, with large porch to enjoy on rainy days. A huge backyard for children to play in, and sandy shallow waters surrounding property for at About 100 yards out. This is great, especially if you have young children who like to swim and play in the water. We will definitely be going back next year.

Best vacation ever
My 4 year old said 100 times this was the best vacation ever! The house was clean and spacious. The lake was beautiful. I have 2 younger children and we could walk out 50 feet and still be on the sand bar. We had everything we needed there was plenty of hiking trails and restaurant near by but you were still away from it all. Tom was a fantastic host he made our stay very enjoyable. Book this home and you will definitely have no disappointments!

Not well maintained
Tod was a nice guy. That being said, the listing description was not accurate. The bar closeby has been closed for years. Its not rustic, its dirty. The outside of the house was dirty as was Tod’s. The house a/c’s did not keep it cool, it was extremely uncomfortable. When I inquired about the docks handling our boats, he said that the 1.5 ft of water would be ok. Of the 9 places weve stayed on Oneida, this was the worst. Im leaving this review to protect other potential renters. I feel bab but its all true.

Summer Getaway
My family had a wonderful time at the lake house. Todd was very attentive and made sure we were satisfied throughout the stay. We loved the enclosed back porch and the kids had a blast swimming in the lake and using the kayaks. Would definitely return!

Great choice for just about anybody
Todd was not just a good host, but a good man. The property was great and everything included is exactly right. Kayaks/canoes and washer/dryer were very nice. The little veggie garden was an unexpected bonus. You won't go wrong with 5his one.

Wonderful escape from NYC
The cottage was great and included everything we needed. We especially loved the washer and dryer and that our children could sleep upstairs in their own rooms. We also loved that a BBQ and picnic table were right outside the cottage. We never even had to use the stove! The property was expansive and we loved the lake and kayaks. Todd went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. We are definitely booking this cottage again in the near future!
