I loved this place! Annette was very helpful and attentive. I enjoyed the outdoor spaces as well as the close proximity to beach and many great restaurant options within walking distance.

Annette's beautifully appointed hacienda was the perfect spot for my daughter and I to do an 8 day college tour of So Cal. There is a full bedroom, comfortable sleeping sofa in the living room, kitchen, bathroom, beautiful side patio on a walk-only street with a view of the ocean, and importantly also a parking space and a washer/dryer in the garage. Annette thought of everything including beach towels and chairs, stocked the kitchen with some welcome food and drinks and was also so thoughtful in even bringing back from her trip to London some desserts for my daughter and me. The location is also perfect in walking distance of everything on Manhattan Beach, including the pier, and close to LA without the stress. I would definitely come back for a return trip.

This charming Spanish style cottage was the perfect location for our first stay in Manhattan Beach. The cozy cottage has been lovingly restored and preserved with attention to every detail! We appreciated the warm welcome by the owners, Annette and Chris who were available for any questions or just to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay - which we did! The location is a very short walk down to The Strand walkway, beach and close to restaurants and coffee shops. Although the water view from the cottage and ocean breeze made us think twice about leaving. We look forward to another stay!

Perfect location to access the beach as well as great restaurants and bars in both MB and El Porto. Annette was super accommodating and I would 100% stay again.

Absolutely loved this property. It's a few blocks from the beach and pretty close to restaurants and shops in the area! I will say it was pretty warm in the house, but after we opened the windows, the temperature dropped. Annette was wonderful to work with, she made this whole process run smoothly! We can't wait to come back again! If you are debating on renting this cottage, just do it! You will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay at Annette's Spanish Cottage. It was the perfect location and walking distance to everything from the beach to downtown. Annette was very welcoming and thoughtful. A lot of love went into preserving the history of the home and the indoor and outdoor space is beautiful with mosaic tile. The home was the perfect spot for our stay while visiting my brother in beautiful Manhattan Beach. We will return again.

Place was perfectly located, it had all the characteristics I was looking for, close to the beach and the tows. It was cozy and the property manager was wonderful, they made us feel right at home.

Property is well situated - plenty of options for walkable restaurants and other activities. Short walk - perhaps 325 steps - to the strand and beach. Well maintained and the owner checked in with us continuously to make sure everything was in order and we were enjoying our stay. High recommendation. Thank you Anette and Chris.

You can see the ocean from the new patio still under construction, and the designated parking spot is very helpful. Coffee shops & restaurants within walking distance too. The owners are super responsive and attentive, and if you need anything they are quick to oblige.

I had a perfect stay here. The apartment is tastefully furnished and had everything you could want. Located just two blocks from the beech and within walking distance of several nice restaurants and a small but well-stocked grocery store. Annette was the perfect host, checking in several times to see if I had everything I needed (I did) and even responded promptly to my text when I couldn’t figure out how to work the tv, patiently walking me through the steps to reboot it. Highly recommended for a couple or solo traveler.

Great place, very nice owner and easy to work with. Annette was very thoughtful and left beach chairs and an umbrella for us. Unit is nicely decorated just like the pictures show. The tough part was the lack of A/C, the unit is on a busier street and windows had to be left open and it was still hot + the noise. If just the bedroom had a wall A/C unit it would be a 5 star hands down. If you are going at a cooler time of year great place. We stayed mid-August and it was hot, real hot, and the inside did not cool down much after the sun goes down even with windows open.

WE ENJOYED THE CONVENIENT WALKING LOCATION TO THE BEACH, RESTAURANTS AND OUR FRIENDS LIVING IN MANHATTAN BEACH. ANNETTE MADE OUR STAY SPECIAL, ALWAYS CHECK TO SEE THAT EVERYTHING WAS FINE. THE DECOR WAS VIBRANT , EVERYTHING HANDY AND IMMACULATE . WONDERFUL PLACE TO EXPERIENCE CALIFORNIA SEASIDE AND LA IF YOU WISHED. CONVENIENT TO LAX AIRPORT.

We really enjoyed our stay. Annette was very nice! The villa was very clean, which was important to us. All of the furnishings were in great shape and everything worked well. The shower was great. We were there to watch our daughter play volleyball and so the location was very convenient to the different beaches and piers. The pull out couch was especially comfortable, which was a wonderful surprise. Although we didn't really use the kitchen, it was fully equipped. We would definitely choose to stay there again in the future!

We had an amazing stay at Annette’s villa. Perfect for a couple or small family. The beach was a delightful barefoot walk away. The accommodation was unique and very comfortable. Highly recomendable. I will definitely be coming back for more Manhattan relaxation.

We had a wonderful time here and loved how conveniently located it was to everything! Close and within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. We were able to spend our visit in both the upstairs and downstairs units and felt comfortable in both. Annette was extremely accommodating and a great host. It made the trip all that much better!

We had a nice stay at this charming villa. It was a nice walk to the beach from here. It is definitely small and probably best for two people. We would have liked some sort of outside space to hang out at. The owner was very kind and accommodating with our flight schedule.
