I’ve stayed in various units at Ocean Walk over the years. OW has the right amenities for families and is dog friendly. We needed a 3 bedroom and R1 met our needs. It was decorated well and everything was clean. Nicely stocked kitchen but no cleaning products for counters etc. Washer & dryer was very efficient. The negative in R1 was the awful shower head in master bath. The water pressure was insane and you couldn’t stand under it or wash face under the hard pressure. It felt like it was skinning you. We used a plastic pitcher to catch water and pour over ourselves to avoid the extreme pressure. After being at the beach it’s nice to take a relaxing shower without being skinned. This shower will skin you. The other bathroom tub didn’t drain for 15 mins or so and there was no stopper for kids baths. The A/C unit leaked onto the hall floor at 70* which we only needed it that low at night (a sign over thermostat states don’t turn down to 69*). Fix R1 plumbing issues, these are easy fixes. We wouldn’t stay there again based on the plumbing issues. Any involvement I had with Emmons Realty was always positive and I’d rent from them again. Thanks.

A great stay in a nice condo in one of our favorite complexes!
Nicely equipped, though would have been helpful to know there were plenty of beach towels and chairs to use on site. We would have left ours at home.
Appreciate that it is pet friendly— but clean.
Will rent again!

We’ve stayed in this unit many times over the years and love it. But it needs some TLC: paint front door where lock box used to hang; kitchen mats are pretty nasty; back guest bedroom could use a new mattress and bedding. Otherwise a great stay, as always!

We travel to St. Simon yearly and we never have a bad experience. The condo was nice and loved how close it was to the pier and our fave restaurant (Mullet Bay). Thank you for the easy self check-in and instructions for the property. The tenants that live their were a wonderful bonus such nice ppl. We heart St. Simon Island 🏝️

A little rough around the edges but very clean and in good location. Sliding door was sticky and came off the track a couple of times. Bed and couch were just okay. No recliner or rocker. Master shower spray was not adjustable and was so powerful we couldn’t use it. I was very clean and well equipped.

We had a very nice visit in this condo. It was nice to be able to walk to the area with shops, restaurants, and the pier. We had five guests and were all very comfortable.

We were only in town for the weekend so this was a good spot for the 5 of us. Very convenient to the pier, shopping and great restaurants. We weren’t there long enough to enjoy the pool or any of the community amenities. They have a coffee maker and a Kurig in the kitchen - it would have nice to have some coffee provided as well - just an extra touch. A nice place!

The rental was well equipt. For someone who loves to cook, almost everything needed was provided. The laudry room was conveniently located. The bedrooms had perfect bedding for warm and cool weather. Very pet friendly. The complex was quiet with plenty of outdoor space. Morning and evening excursions were great for us and our service dogs.Although we had to call the rental agency for minor issues, they responded immediately and the issues were resolved effectively and promptly.I would definitely rent again. We also found some great places to eat out which was a bonus. We visited Jekyll Island and that was great just remember it is a separate island and requires a daily toll ($10). Fishing and beaches.

Looking for a place not far from the beach? This location is perfect. It’s only a 3 minute drive to downtown St. Simons, the lighthouse and the pier. Friendly staff & easy entry! It was comfortable, clean and met all of our needs.

Located on the first floor, we had to hope for residents on the second floor to be quiet at night. A building constructed in the 80's with limited noise cancellation between ceiling and floor.

The property description regarding location was correct. The condo is dated and needs updating with new bathrooms and kitchen. The condo is very cluttered with what appears to be furniture from Goodwill or?? The sofa and chair were replaced while we were there with time lost waiting for arrival one afternoon due to the furniture delivery. Emmonsdid compensate us for that time. The condo needs to be decluttered. There were 4 TVS but only the one in the living area worked correctly. TV in master bedroom was of a different setup and could not adjust sound. TV in second bedroom was not even connected to cable or wall. The commodes ran constantly, and the master bath sink was very slow to drain. The kitchen sink faucet dripped, and the laundry vent needs to be cleaned before it catches fire. WE had stayed at other Emmons property and were very satisfied, but this condo needs updating and a thorough cleaning.

Good choice for family
This place worked well for our family of 5. It's not 5 star but it's neat, had the necessities, is in a fun condominium with pools, lake and playground, and is close to the village per area.

Disappointing. Overall the unit did not live up to the online pictures. First, the unit needs a thorough cleaning, not just a surface cleaning. The furniture is worn, scratched and stained. Electrical cords and extensions are visible everywhere. The large burner on the stove did not work properly and the burners were not level. The refrigerator made intermittent loud pounding noises (which you could hear from the bedrooms). Both should be replaced. Th master bathroom sink drained slowly and the toilet runs. The kitchen sink drips. The two lights above the master bathroom sink were broken. One was burned out and the glass of the other was broken with the filament exposed. The toilets were not cleaned very well upon arrival. We would not rent this unit again. As I write this, I asked myself why we stayed for the duration.

Very comfortable to live here for two months. Beautiful setting among the live oaks and close to everywhere we wanted to be.

Very disappointed !
This condo needs a lot of help and not rental ready. It was dirty, the furniture was dirty and water stained. The stove was old with electrical burners that elevated on an angle making it difficult to keep a pan on. Air conditioning in the two front bedrooms but not in the master bedroom. Towels with holes in them. Broken towel holder. Unable to use the TV in the bedroom unless you replug it everytime. Drippy kitchen faucet which should have been fixed before we rented. Smoke alarms that spontaneously go off for no reason. Dirty air vents. I have rented numerous condos and never experienced a condo in such bad shape as this one. There was no information regarding WiFi, code for pool and leaving instructions. Management did not seem concern when approached on this condo. Very trashy - beware.!

Great fall break trip to SSI and Ocean Walk
Property was nice and clean and gave us lots of room. Living room furniture and stove could use an upgrade, but were tolerable. It was nice to have a TV in every room. Also ceiling fans would be nice especially in bedrooms. We love the facilities at Ocean Walk and the pools are great. Would stay again.

Perfect Family spot
It was a very nice, clean place that was perfect for our family of 6! Everyone had space to have some quiet time! The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals all week. Perfect location and nice pools! We will definitely return

Had a great stay in St Simons. Only thing I would suggest for the condo is a néw sliding patio door. Batteries for

Dirty and inhospitable
The worst condo on SSI I’ve ever experienced.
The place was filthy, covered in dust, dishes dirty, no beach towels?!?
I spent my vacation being a cleaning service and paid through the nose to clean for them instead of spending time with my family.
My parents live down the street, and if they had the space I would have slept in their garage!

I like the location since we walked to the villages often. My grand children enjoyed the heated poo.
The grounds were nice for walking my dog. The ducks were great fun to watch and my grand children enjoyed the playgrounds.
