From check in to departure, this experience was epic! The house, the pool, the views, the activities, the staff - just perfect. I don't know how to top this vacation! We will definitely come back!

This was our second time staying at Casa Rodriguez and we will be going back every year! Everything about the stay and the house and the people were to perfection!! The nearby restaurants were so great too. I would recommend getting the atv to have at the house to drive to the restaurants and grocery store. Very handy. Vicente is AH-MAZ-ING and Samuel is forever on the spot with any question you have. I can’t say enough good things. Thank you Casa Rodriguez for another great stay! See you next year!

From the amazing resort-style property to the resident staff and their help in celebrating our 50th Anniversary with our family, we can’t imagine a better experience. Our thanks to the hosts for their prompt replies to our concerns.

This gorgeous property is like having your own private resort! We loved being right on the beach with an infinity pool, hot tub, swim up bar and many areas to gather and relax. The cost of heating the pool and hot tub came as a bit of a surprise to us, so if you want either or both heated, know there is an extra fee. We absolutely loved that the entire side of the house opens up to the ocean so even when you're inside, it's like you're outside. The extras that are provided with the house are great; snorkel gear, lots of beach towels, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, beach & pool toys, etc. There is a reef about a mile down the beach that is great for snorkeling – take advantage on a non-windy day! The owners send you an entire document of information after you book, which is extremely helpful. It includes info on transportation, things to do, places to eat, catering options, and intro to all the INCREDIBLE staff that you can contact prior to your stay, as well as your entire time there! In hindsight, our group would have taken more advantage of the catering, as it was priced right and more convenient than walking to a restaurant. If interested in outings, I would highly recommend having some kind of rental (car or ATV) around for the week for those moments that you might want to leave the property. Although, as proof above, no need to – it’s amazing!

This was a great spot for three families with young children. The house is great. Really spacious and in wonderful condition. We were happy that there were 4 full en-suite “masters”, which made figuring out how to split bedrooms really easy. The pool and beach situation can’t be beat. Great that the property has kayaks and paddle boards available. Vicente (caretaker and fishing guide) was awesome. We loved eating our fresh catch. Made ceviche and grilled fillets for dinner! Samuel (concierge) was really responsive and helpful.

The house is very well maintained. There are little extras that make the stay more comfortable. The staff was amazing and very helpful. The week we stayed was a bit colder and extremely windy so we couldn't use some of the outdoor amenities and water sport equipment which was readily available. We did choose to heat the outdoor pool and hot tub (no jets), if we didn't we wouldn't have been able to use them at all. We catered a few meals in and ate out locally the entire week. Everyone in the small town were pleasant and welcoming, especially La Dona and Adrianna's. We visited both restaurants and both catered in one night. The food was authentic and very good. We had a clean house and fresh towels everyday, Samuel was happy to shop for and deliver to us for a nominal fee. We had a few that liked to fish, there was only one day they were able to fish due to the high winds but they caught an abundance of fish which we enjoyed at home that evening. Homar the driver was great and available when needed. Transportation is expensive, I assume due to the high price of fuel and the distance the house is from any town. Overall, it was a fun week despite the weather. Everyone enjoyed!

The staff at Casa Rodriguez are all phenomenal! Samuel was so helpful before our trip in answering all our questions and providing resources. Homar was wonderful in providing rides. In addition to airport transfers, we had him take us to La Paz do some tours and even Cabo Pulmo to dive and it was less expensive than renting a van for the week. The food from Adriana was some of the best Mexican food we have ever had (definitely suggest the Mexican buffet every night). She was able to provide an awesome variety of dishes. Ask her to bring flan one of the nights! BEST EVER! Vicente did a great job taking us out fishing and being available should we ever need anything. And Lupita kept everything clean during our entire stay. The house is in a great location if you're looking to be a little further outside of town. Not many people walking up and down the beach, kayaks and paddleboards to take out on calm waters, and a pool and hot tub right at the edge of the sand. If you're there in December, paying for the pool and hot tub to be heated was definitely worth it. We made a stop at the grocery store in Los Barrilles on the way in and purchased food for breakfast and snacks. Adriana provided dinners and we had enough left over for every lunch. We rented ATVs and RZRs from Sergio ATV (highly recommended) and it took about 40 minutes each way to come and go into town. It's a really beautiful drive on a dirt road right along the water's edge. Definitely recommend driving up the wash just before Los Barilles to La Cienega waterfall and pool. It's a fun drive that starts on sand and then turns into driving over a few inches of water before you reach the falls. Side note on the house: Some of the beds are a little harder than others, so if that matters to anyone in your party, be sure to check it out before everyone gets settled in their rooms.

Everything in the listing that we hoped would be as good as pictured was even better in person. Clean house & great services on the property. Great location for paddleboarding, kayaking, fishing on the bay and ATVing to secret beaches along the coast. A lot of memorable "firsts" for our family and friends. As the location is remote, the power did go out during a lighting storm one night but was restored the next day and Vincent was helpful and communicative throughout as he hooked up a generator to keep the basics in the house running. Nothing but good things to say about booking this amazing house for a big group of family and friends.

Casa Rodriquez was awesome, and a great Vacation for our Family. The House is better than the pictures, plenty of room for all, which included 4 Families. Our 6 Grandkids had a great time in the pool, and the Beach in front of the House. We consider this a very safe place to visit, so I would not let that deter anyone from Vacationing at Casa Rodriquez. Our small children range in age from 8 to 2 and it worked out perfectly. The frequent Inquiries PDF was very helpful, and really has all the information needed to plan out the trip. We used Homar for transportation to and from the Airport, and Adriana for catering, also visited Her Restaurant (Food was great & Transportation as well) Vincente was very helpful, and we had 2 great days of fishing, caught a large Sailfish the first day of Fishing. We are going to plan another trip back to El Cardonal, everyone loved it.

14 of us enjoyed our stay. All had a superb time. House and staff were incredible. Highly recommend this vacation home!!

Heaven in Mexico

We were all very very happy with the property. You walk in and the pool and the beach or just stunning the staff is awesome we would love to come back

This was our first time staying at Casa Rodriguez and to say it was everything we wanted and expected is not even close to explaining just how amazing this place really is! Every room in the house is amazing, I fell in love with the showers! Very cool. The living area was huge and the pool area was even bigger! You can sunbath but the pool while watching your family snorkel or paddle board so we all still felt connected and I loved that so much!! Vicente is just awesome and was there everyday and so personal and helpful. Our crew went fishing with him 3 times and they would’ve went everyday if they could’ve!! Vicente made fresh ceviche for us with the fish we caught and it was delicious! We had a party of 17 and never felt cramped or in each other’s way! The ages ranged from 8-47 and we were a mix of family and friends and it was the best vacation we have ever been on. I think I would’ve gotten more food from Costco or the grocery store to cook up during the day, that was our bad though, but it was super easy to have food catered in too! I think just being a range of ages it was nice to have pancake mix, burgers, lunch food and some easy dinner food to have on hand. But like I said that was on us and that would be one thing I would make sure to get next time. There was nothing we couldn’t find in the house if we needed it, like a tape measure, they have everything there!! It is just a fully stocked house which was so nice!!! Don’t hesitate on this place, book it now!!!!

We loved our stay!! Best house we have stayed at in BAJA! Vicente and Lupita are the best hosts ever. The property had everything you could ever want. This place is absolute paradise!

Very nice and large home. It was cleaned every day including the dishes. Very private, amazing sunrises and sunsets. There are three restaurants close which all have great food. I would recommend fishing as we caught alot and Vicente the caretaker/ fishing captain made us sashimi as soon as we returned, really delicious. We had the rest of the fish cooked at a local restaurant for dinner. The water on calm days is very clear and great for kayaking, paddleboarding, and snorkeling which all are provided. Our family had a wonderful time.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Rodriguez. We weren’t quite sure what to expect, but the house, property and pool were majestic! We had a large group of 14, for my husbands birthday. We spent a lot of the time at the house relaxing, spent a day riding side by sides to Los Barriles, massages on the beach, and the guys had a fishing day with Vicente. (Caretaker that lives behind Casa) Lupita his daughter, cleaned the house and washed towels and sheets daily which was nice. Adriana’s Catering catered our meals, and it was amazing authentic Mexican food. The amount of food was a lot, so we always had leftovers. We did breakfasts and dinners, and there was always enough to snack on during the day if needed. She also made a fettuccine for my husbands birthday and it was out of this world. Vicente was always on hand to help, and a friendly face to make us laugh, and Samuel was good to book things and answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend hearing the pool and soaking tub, we had a couple cooler days and we were so glad to have them heated. I would also suggest to stopping at a store in Los Barriles on your way to the house from the airport and getting everything you need, or want, as the stores close by don’t have much. There was water stocked at the house, which was nice. If you don’t want to stop at the store you can arrange Samuel to go shopping for you, and have it stalked on arrival. We did have Samuel get beverages and ice, so when we arrived that was stalked. Covid testing came to the house for $68 a test, which was handy. Overall a great time, water was a little chilly, and for some reason one of the days there were a lot of jellyfish, but only one day we saw them though. One regret we have is not making it to La Paz, which we have heard great things about, maybe next time :) Overall good stay at Casa Rodriguez!

The house is expertly laid out with 6 "master bedrooms" that provided our group of 11 a very comfortable stay. The group areas, outside patio, pool, pool bar and palapa are all great for gathering friends and family. This house is built for a larger group to enjoy! We also liked the small, quiet feel of El Cardonal, the local restaurants were fantastic both delivering and for eating out, we took day tours to ATV, see whale sharks, Cabo, then came back to our quiet solitude at Casa Rodriguez. The pool is huge and the ocean is steps away. Overall it was a great stay!

Perfect location for our three families ... 13 of us between the ages of 19 - 59 ... plenty of places to lay your head, en suite bathrooms, lounge chairs at pool and beach, activities in the sea, balconies, etc. This house is super equipped for large groups ... fridge, wine fridge, outdoor beverage fridge, garage fridge, and deep freezer where we stored bags of ice. The pantry held food for our army. Plenty of cookware, stoneware, and flatware. Logistically it was great. Even better though was the fact that we really didn't have to do much other than share flights with Homar who made sure we made to and from the airport ... Samuel who took care of our dinner reservations, shopping lists, and welcome dinner ... Vicente who made sure we had a blast on the boats either fishing or going to 1535 Beach Club and all the other little big things he does on a daily basis ... Lupita who kept the house spotless! This was our first time to the Baja as a family group ... I think we were lucky with the weather as it was sunny, warm, and little wind. We enjoyed the hot tub (paid to have it heated which was totally worth it this time of year!) and the pool (which we didn't heat so it was refreshingly cool). El Cardonal is filled with friendly people who want to make your stay enjoyable! The best part was that no matter where we were on the property ... we all felt like we were together! The beach, the pool, the patio, and the hot tub ... you are all within chatting distance of each other. We hope to come back in the spring or fall to take advantage of the longer days ... Enjoy!

Breathtaking

Amazing house and property. Super clean and designed very well. All the rooms were very comfortable and perfect. If you have first dibs, I'd recommend snagging the room that is upstairs near the staircase so that you can catch the sunrise from your deck. Pool is a little cold in December, I'd recommend asking for the heat to be turned on. We used the hot tub for two nights with heat. Both run on propane and will cost a little extra, but is worth it. We all adored the dogs that habit the area. They'll come greet you in the morning around sunrise. Vincente, who lives on the property, took us fishing one day, and to the restaurant 1535 on our last day. Make sure to order your food before 4pm so that Vincente has enough time to get you back before dark! Overall a magical on-of-a-kind home with amazing staff, tons of stuff to do including renting UTVs, snorkeling, paddle boarding right in front of the property, and just enjoying your stay!

Beautiful property. Private and relaxing.

We spent a week at this beautiful home. We had 15 people in our group, made up of 4 families, all over the age of 18. Vincint and Samuel helped coordinate everything. The fishing was so much fun for everyone. Samuel helped us rent side by sides that were brought to us and in the end organized our Covid testing that was done at the house. We have stayed in this area before and love everything about it. We will definitely stay here again.

Quiet peaceful location with the beach all to ourselves. Never a concern as Samuel , Vincente, Lupita & Adriana took amazing care of everything. Great family time for our group of 16.

Madison was great to work with. Unfortunately, we had to reschedule trip, due to several of our fellow travelers were compromised with COVID. Madison helped us with re scheduling our trip and was very accommodating with our needs. We have rescheduled our trip and can't wait to go.

The house and location were great. The house was well equipped. The house and property were in excellent condition and everyone had a wonderful time.

Such a great family vacation. 16 + 2 babies, lots of room for all. The pool and the beach are wonderful for all ages. Casa Rodriguez is well equipped from the kitchen to beach toys. Loved this location. Would come back again.
