We loved this home to bring all of the family together. View beautiful, hot tub clean, game room fun for all, house perfect to gather and relax in. Property manager very accommodating. We will be back!

The biggest problem was the dryer didn’t work.
The hot tub wasn’t working but my son figured it out.
Otherwise it is a beautiful house and we had a great time. I would stay there again.
The golfers in the family really liked the golf course.

We visited the Property for Memorial Day weekend with Friends and Family and had a terrible experience on our first day:
Gas Connection was tripped
No Hot water
No Heater
OLD TV
Host was not sure about what to do and it took almost 4 hours for the help to arrive and fix.
Overall Property need proper maintenance
- Shower Pressure upstairs bath
- No Hot Water in bathrooms upstairs
Although the Bodega location is amazing however because of the property issues and host responsiveness i would rate 1 to this property.
After many followup with the host to give is some refund the host has turned mute and not responded.
Worst Customer service and experience so far as i have booked so many properties before on VRBO but never had such bad experience !!!!

This house was perfect for a couples getaway close. We loved the views, the hot tub, the open kitchen, and the patio. Our host was responsive to our pre-trip questions, arrival request and post-visit needs. We really enjoyed our weekend here.

Overall we had a very nice stay. Beds are comfortable, living room had
plenty of seating for everyone, views are beautiful. The house has a couple of maintenance issues that the owners are aware of and working on. They were good about communicating with us. Location is amazing!

Location of the property is great & at first glance house is awesome. Big bedrooms, great views. However we found more and more problem. I first noticed that the renovations seemed very superficial. While the kitchen looks great at first, you soon realize the cabinets are all very outdated and even loose. I actually called the manager right away because I was worried one would fall off during our stay. First night we noticed the hot tub wasnt working. I emailed the manager and asked for someone to come out the next morning since this was a major reason for getting the home. He said he would, but no one ever came and we couldn’t use the hot tub throughout our stay. 2nd night the dishwasher broke, I again called the manager. He asked me to restart the circuit and it worked for about ten minute and broke again and for the rest of the stay we didn’t have a dishwasher. The 3rd day all the electricity circuit in the kitchen went out along with the dishwasher. This was very inconvenient. We had ten people staying in the house and had to move the toaster and coffee maker to other locations to get it to work. Lastly there was a wifi nest camera inside the house! With a lock box on the plug so you couldn’t un plug it. I emailed the manager right away and asked him to come unplug it and his response was it wasn’t recording. It was on and could see and hear inside the house. Lots of broke things and terrible management response.

As mentioned in previous reviews the property has a few run down maintenance type issues but a great workable space with lots of natural light. One of the better stocked kitchens we’ve had. Our only complaint was that we were really looking forward to using the hot tub - in previous reviews I saw that you need to turn it up because it’s not hot when you arrive- the temp was at 84*- we pushed the temp + button, screen flashed 104 and then a code of Fl 1- never did the hot tub get hotter than 88* When we reached out to see if there was a trick we should be aware of the response was Umhm is it cold? We emailed again to say it was 84 and not budging which I think anyone would agree is cold for a hot tub and got no response for about an hour and a half- they asked us to reset breaker- still no luck - waited til the morning and still hadn’t gotten hot-unfortunately, with the responses we’d gotten this far we almost felt like we were bothering them so we ended up letting it go because we only had one more day, but it was definitely a disappointment for our trip. We specifically looked for a property with a hot tub and to not have it working or any follow through was definitely disappointing.

The key to the property as described in the information ahead of stay was incomplete. It was supposed set four digits from my number.
There was no substantial property information online or in print.
The house was very warm when we arrived and the climate control was not working. We turned it off.
The refrigerator was not working when we arrived and had an error CF E, we looked up the model unplugged the refrigerator, and plugged it back in as suggested. That helped for a few hours and then the error came back on.
The TVs did not work and when calling the management company they said for us to call AT & T. We finally got one out of numerous TVs to work.
The washer machine stopped working after one wash.
The jacuzzi was not warm when we arrived, it took several hours to warm it up.
There is a chair that does not hold weight in the dining room, and a teenager in the family fell over in the chair. I left a note on the chair that states it’s broken and you should get rid of it.
We used the outdoor fire pit for a short time and then ran out of propane, all five tanks are empty.
The soap dispensers in the bathrooms are broken and without soap.
There was a garbage bag full of recyclables left on the patio, just lying there.
I pulled out the wood chopping board next to the cooktop to cut vegetables and found them covered with rat feces.

Needs better cleaning, property has not been maintained well, Virbo pictures misleading; repairs needed to games in garage/game room. Only one channel available on tv in master; ants in kitchen; drawer handle not secure; refrigerator sounds like motor is going out; hot tub not clean or in good repair, needed service on 2nd day. 😖

Lovely view, large house with very well equipped kitchen , very large dining area, living room and game room . 5 spacious bedrooms , 3 bathrooms. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not clean, there were ants in the kitchen, no dishwasher detergent, and many lightbulbs were out. Code that we were given for the door was wrong , but a phone call solved that. We asked for hot tub to be cleaned , but in our 3 day, 2 night stay , it was never cleaned so we could not use it. We had to buy dishwasher detergent. We changed some lightbulbs ourselves but did not have bulbs for the bathroom lights or the overhead light in one downstairs bedroom . With better cleaning, maintenance and supplies , this could be a really lovely place to stay .

Comfortable for our group of 10 friends. House needs some maintenance, painting exterior, deck flooring. Something leaking under hot tub.some slipups on setup housekeeping such as only 1 pillow in downstairs king bed, missing hand towel and wash clothes upstairs shower heads were pretty high and hard to control where there wasn't a handheld option

The home is lovely but needs some serious TLC and maybe a more detail oriented cleaning crew. The Game Room was very disappointing-ping pong table was unusable because it was placed on a table that was too small. Air Hockey didn’t work. Dark and dingy too.
We had to wash all dishes before using them and we had ants to deal with. The bedroom with the King & Twin needs new mattresses and the room smelled. It also needs new curtains. One was broken.
We couldn’t park our cars side by side due to overgrowth of bushes. The upstairs rooms were great.
The deck needs some TLC too.

We are a group of 10 women in our book club of 30+ years. We enjoyed the accommodations at the house, and appreciated all of the king-sized beds, making bunking together spacious and comfortable.
We had some issues with the oven, and the dishwasher leaked, but Izah was very responsive. Unpredictable stuff happens with houses sometimes, and while regrettable, it’s no one’s fault. She sent someone out to look at it, and I appreciated her willingness to get it taken care of, even if it couldn’t be serviced until after our weekend. We were offered a late check out for our trouble, but we were all out of the house by 11 am.
The house itself is lovely, full of light, with a stunning view of the ocean. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dish ware and service ware. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and the hot tub was clean and ready for use.
The only criticism is of the game room. The game room could use a little love. The pool table is positioned in a way that makes it impossible to play, and the game room vibe is kind of, meh.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would be happy to come back another time.

The house is exactly what you see in the pictures. It was the perfect family reunion house for us!
Some positive points:
- the view!
- quiet neighborhood
- clean, comfortable beds, lots of towels
- the living room is perfect for a big group gathering and the game room was great for the kids
Some negative points:
- ants in the kitchen
- not enough silverware for everyone (some had to use spoons) and mismatched plates and glasses if more than 10 people sit down to eat together
- dishwasher broke down during our stay (washing up dishes for 13 people while on vacation gets tiring really quickly)
- there was a snafu with the hot tub, but we managed to get it going after a day after talking to the manager on the phone
- no shower gel or shampoo in bathrooms
- no guest book or written instructions about the house: what to do with the recycling or trash, etc...
- the neighbors told us we could not walk our dogs on the path between the deck and the gold course (which we did not know about due to the absence of guest book or instructions)
All in all it was a nice stay.

Beautiful home and great location. Izah was a great host. Very responsive and kind.
It was just my husband, our son and I the first night and my best friend and her 2 daughters joined us the second night. The game room was fun. Jacuzzi and outdoor patio was perfect. Love the layout of the house. We had a lovely time

We had a great stay celebrating my husband’s 70th birthday with our family. This property was the perfect size and location. The home is spacious and very comfortable. Our host was wonderful and very quick to respond. We would definitely return to this property.

Our group stayed here for a wedding and had an amazing time. The property is just as advertised. We utilized everything! The TVs, game room, outdoor fire pit area, hot tub and kitchen provided a great home base for us. Thank you very much

This is a great rental property. Plenty of room, amazing views, awesome game room.
Five adults and three kids were very comfortable and had room to spare.
While a bit rough around the edges (needs paint inside and out, window screens would be nice, grill needs a good cleaning), the house was very clean and well equipped.
To address some concerns from other reviews: we did not have an ant problem (but we were vigilant about keeping the kitchen tidy), there were plenty of towels, and the house was quite clean.
Overall, this.is a great rental property for a larger group, and we would definitely book another stay should the occasion arise.

House is in a great location. Easy to get to with good views. Once getting into the house. We notice right away there’s interior damage. On the walls, ceilings, baseboards, doors, windows ext..
the lay out of the house is open. House just felt dirty. Kids enjoyed the game room, but air hockey was not working properly and couldn’t find any balls to play pool. Back patio was nice to sit. The house worked for the weekend but they definitely need to do cosmetic work and a deeper clean. Also one of the couches needs to be replaced. Very tore up.

This is a lovely home with plenty of amenities. It's a quick drive to the ocean and to town. The interior of the home could use some paint and upgraded furniture, but it was a bit of a relief to see a comfy old couch and walls that have certainly been touched by children. The owner have also taken care to secure items to the wall so they can't fall down on the littles. I appreciate their thoughtfulness on those details. You can tell this home has been enjoyed by many. We would absolutely stay here again.

The location of this house is great, but as others have said, the house is not very clean. They also don't have screens in any of the windows which is a problem because there are bats as well as yellow jackets around the outside of the house. We found a dead bat outside as well as bat feces in then side yard and some in the house. There were ants in the house as well. I tried to communicate these issues with the property manager after my stay and did not receive follow up communication even after I reached out several times. There is also a camera inside the house. It points at the front door, but it is located inside.

This property was a perfect place to celebrate the birthday of our matriarch in the family. As soon as you walk into the entryway you see this bright open spacious living area with a view of the golf course and bay. The furnishings were modern and comfortable. The patio firepit, hot tub and barbeque got plenty of use. The game room was a hit with all ages.
The only disappointment was related to housekeeping. First thing we noticed was the refrigerator ice maker didn't have any ice in it and we could never get it to work. Our ice cream was mostly soft in the freezer. So we had to make trips to the store to purchase ice.
Some of the towels had holes or stains and there was only two wash clothes. The soap dispensers in the showers were empty. The master bed was sqweeky when getting in and out.

You can't beat the location of this house for access to nearby beautiful beaches and redwood forests. Sebastapol is only a 25 minute drive away for grocery shopping. We had an extended family of 11, including 3 teenagers here. Plenty of room for everyone, and the kids loved the game room. We all loved the patio, fire pit, and view! The kitchen is well-stocked with the necessities, including extra nice touches like spices. If you have a lot of people, plan on bringing paper plates or doing dishes often, because there are only enough plates to get through one meal. The important parts of the house were very clean - kitchen, bathrooms, and beds, but the house is showing some rental wear and tear and could use a good deep cleaning. Try the Pinnacle Gulch Trail down to the beach at low tide - well worth it!

We stayed at this property for my father-in-laws birthday. Izah was so helpful allowing us into the unit a bit early in order to surprise the guest of honor with decorations. The home was perfect for a family of 10 and the views were amazing. It was bliss sitting on the back deck in the evenings looking out over the beach. The natural light in the house was amazing and the kitchen had everything we needed to bring in a private chef for the night of our celebration. We had a great time.

This was the second time we rented this property. It is a beautiful location with a very comfortable accommodations. We look forward to staying here again next year.

We notified the property manager via text that there were random ants on the counter and the dishes when we arrived. No reply. I then sent a picture showing tons of ants in the dishwasher and the manager asked if we wanted a cleaner. I replied yes and several hours later someone came out and sprayed. In the meantime we put all food in the refrigerator and kept cleaning up ants. The next day there was a full blown ant attack in the kitchen sink and garbage can. I sent pictures to the manager and no reply. We found the ant spray and used it on the ant trail. There were also random ants in the upstairs bathrooms. The last night one person woke up to find several ants crawling in her bed. I text this to the manager. The only response as we checked out was “sorry for the inconvenience”.
This experience was unfortunate because otherwise the house was homey and there is a lovely view. A note to future guests, this is a very windy location and it is quite loud whistling across the house so check the weather forecast.

The location and size of the property is great. Lovely view of Bodega Bay and the golf course from the house and patio. Patio is very nice. Unfortunately, the house was filthy. The stairway handrails were sticky. The kitchen surfaces and cupboards were sticky. The kitchen floor was really dirty, and the area rugs were filthy. The kitchen and bathrooms have major ant problems. We threw away new, wrapped bagels that were swarmed with ants on the first night. Everything had to be stored in the refrigerator. We had to wash all the dishes, drinking glasses, utensils and pots and pans before use, as well as the coffeemaker. The water dispenser on the fridge was moldy. The bathrooms were not in great shape. It is too bad the place was so dirty, because the layout of the house is great, the appliances are fine, and there are large tv's in every room. The living room furniture is comfortable. Would not stay here again unless the house was deep cleaned and fumigated.

We spent the weekend at this beautiful house with friends and kids. The kids loved the game room, and the grown-ups loved the views, the patio, the hot tub, the gorgeous kitchen, and the atrium dining room. It was quiet and close to the beach. Highly recommend!

House was clean well equipped for a large group. Sunny open concept group areas with patio/hot tub access was enjoyed. Bedrooms are nice. Fire places and loads of TV’s….college kids used the well used game room.
One bedroom needs some light bulbs and has a dip in the mattress.
Mostly quite nice and the sunsets were incredible.

5 stars:- the owner and her communication/help on some issues- location- cooking supplies- size of house- games in the garage2 stars: - cleanliness ... the master bed had a silver dollar sized rock in it indicating the bed sheets hadn't been changed ... the downstairs room near the garage has an ant problem (there was both the smell of ant poison and ants that got into a backpack) ... the floors were sticky- the linens and towels are dated ... for the price I would have expected to see bright, white, bleached sheets and towels with new bed comforters. 3 Stars overall:For the price, I probably wouldn't stay here again unless it was the only property I could find to house the number of people we had. It was a very average lodging with a very helpful, responsive owner.
