This is such a special place. My mom and I first came to the Lodge 13 years ago and just had to visit again on our recent trip to the greater Bay Area / Sonoma county. The hotel, the staff and the amenities were all just as good as we remember. The views, the fireplace in the room, the balcony... it all adds up to a wonderful experience. Can't wait to go back again and in much less time than another 13 years, I hope!!

The property is on the bay and has scenic views. The room however needs some new flooring instead of old carpeting.

We had a wonderful overnight trip. The staff at the lodge were friendly and extremely helpful with everything. We arrived early and our room was already for us. All of the amenities are very inviting and the pool is clean. Looking forward to going back. One of our favorite places in Bodega.

This has to be the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. The rooms were very clean, the staff exceptionally friendly, the views amazing. The Drakes restaurant was delicious. The pool, hot tub, sauna all amazing ways to relax after the beautiful nature walks. I can't wait to go back.

Absolutely breathtaking. The lodge is incredibly beautiful and the views are so stunning. The staff was top notch, from check in to check out. Rooms were huge. Gym was clean, organized, and filled with great equipment. Steam room, hot tub, and pool were beautiful. Will be back!

Awesome property! Great large room with great view of the Pacific. Bar and restaurant were amazing - fabulous chef - really excellent food and cocktails. We’ll be back for sure!

Enjoyed everything

This is a very nice property to stay at. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and have great views. My wife and I both heard a faint foghorn at a distance late night/early morning but it did not keep us awake. The restaurant is very nice. The fitness center for a lodge is pretty good. They have cardio and cable machines as well as dumbbells, and kettlebells. The lodge staff is excellent.

We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. The hotel facilities, which included a small pool, hot tub, gym, spa and a bocce ball court, overlooking the coast. The quality and tastes of the food was average at best. We enjoyed some “happy hour” snacks and breakfast on-site. Overall, the food was a bit bland and a touch too salty. The view from the restaurants was spectacular nonetheless. Overall, we had a wonderful visit to the area and this facility.

We Upgraded to the 702 cottage and it was well worth it. beautiful space to enjoy wonderful view for the night.
