We went in April 2024 for the solar eclipse and skiing. Great location near Jay Peak. The property/house is amazing. I can see there is a lot to do year round in a beautiful section of Vermont. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic stay. Fantastic community. Amazing proximity to the mountain.

Great location that is close to Jay Peak and has quiet streets to walk your dog. Gorgeous exterior with big windows and a beautiful sunrise view through the trees. Hot tub and push-of-a-button fireplace are perfect for the end of the ski day relaxing. Ed was very responsive through the VRBO app. Note that there is the hard-to-vacuum-up, dog hair on the carpet that gets on things in case you are allergic or don’t own a dog! Also, the upstairs queen mattress is not the most comfortable. That said, it was a lot of fun to stay here, will recommend it to others and hope to do it again.

When looking for a place to accommodate my family of four and two friends this house stood out. When relaxing in the hot tub or swinging in the vintage ski lift chair you’ll find the post and beam construction on the outdoor porch just gorgeous. The house was clean, comfortable and a great fit for our crew.

House is nice and in a great location but during our 2 night stay we lost heat and hot water twice. Ed was quick to resolve the first time but then never acknowledged when it went out later that night and into our checkout morning. So if you like a warm house and hot showers, this might not be the place. He also requires you to sign an additional agreement to rent and when asked for refund for loss of heat/hot water, complained about us “misusing” the hot tub by using too much shock treatment.

The house was prefect for our family of 4 plus our lab to host our annual ski week in VT. The location was about a mile from Jay Peak tramside entrance but still far enough away that we could enjoy the peace and tranquility of the snowy wooded landscape. When we were not skiing, our kids and dog loved playing in the snowy woods around the property while we could relax in the hot tub. The gas fireplace made it super easy to enjoy a warm fire at our convenience. We would have given the house a full 5-stars but we discovered a few hiccups with the cleaning service upon arrival (cold coffee left in the pot, grinds still in the maker, left over pizza in the oven, a few ants, and the dryer loaded with damp towels). None of these were show stoppers at all and after we took care of these items the rest of the house was great.

This property is exactly what it says it is. Close enough to the mountain where you can run down and grab lunch and go back. Hot tub on the deck is a fantastic feature after a long day. The Parking is fantastic for snow days plenty of room.
