We enjoyed our time at the “B”. Chris was so helpful and attentive. He gave us great recommendations on where to eat and things to do. Parking was easy, it is a very walkable neighborhood. The space had everything you could possibly need and it as extremely clean! We are already planning a return trip to Louisville and the “B” Thank you, Chris!

Chris is on the journey to renovate The B into a 5-star experience. Very clean, spacious, comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. Chris and his boys are delightful host. We will stay again when returning to Louisville.

It was good especially when I got the fan. There were 2 things that were challenging. I didn't know about the construction in the front yard. Getting in and out was more difficult and challenging than I thought it would be. I couldn't have navigated by myself. That was a surprise. I am a fan of good lighting. I would have loved more lamps with warm and cozy lighting. Not a fan of overheads. Everything else was great.

We really wanted to give this place 5* Host - kind, helpful, communicative, friendly - 5* Location - wonderful, quiet local community near great bars and restaurants. Close to downtown but in a lovely area. 5* Apartment - very comfortable, quiet and clean. Comfortable beds and sofas. A few issues with fittings and finishings (e.g. bedroom door looked as though it was being repainted). 4* Entrance and gardens - Overall the accommodation loses a star because the front garden is being remodelled and looked like it was a building site. (And the view over the rear garden from the kitchen was a building site - not great). 2* Chris is a great host. He told us the front garden would be finished during October. If the front garden is completed and the minor issues in the apartment fixed by then he’ll have an even better place and we will return. And we’ll give it a 5* review!

Great weekend getaway to celebrate Father’s Day! The apartment was perfect size for our family of 4 (kids 11&13). Very quiet, historic neighborhood with restaurants, coffee and shops all within walking distance. Chris was very hospitable, had great advise on the local eateries and made sure our stay was comfortable. Will definitely stay again on our next visit to Louisville!

I was traveling for work and looking for a quiet space in a good area. This was a great find! The apartment inside the house is really spacious and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Chris was an excellent communicator and helped me out with a couple questions. The bed was also very comfortable!

I felt that this is a great location for what we needed for my husbands graduation from Boyce college. The house was older, but it was clean. The person that owned it was very attentive and communicated well. If we had to stay in this area, I would stay here again. The neighborhood felt safe and there was plenty of things to do that you could walk to like little shops, etc..

We spent over two weeks in Chris' cozy, comfy property and it felt like home. We loved the neighborhood (super safe, quiet, within walking distance to shops and restaurants, easy access to the highway); we loved the property; but we really loved working with Chris!! He was so courteous, helpful, and available even though he had a busy work schedule while we were there. But, he always made us feel that we were his priority! Would absolutely stay there again!! Thank you, Chris!!

Chris is amazing! Great communication and quick to respond if I had any questions. We booked this place due to a volleyball tournament for my daughter. We stayed 4 nights and it was a great location and quick drive to stores and the KICC! The place was clean, easy to find and within walking distance of a cute little bakery with breakfast and lunch items! We would love to stay here again next year when we return!

Loved the charming property and location close to shops and restaurants, which were walking distance. Neighborhood was safe and convenient to I64. The owner Chris was available but we never had any issues. Would recommend if you’re looking for a small, reasonably-priced place to stay.

We enjoyed the location of this property - it was on a nice street (street parking was easy) and we could walk to coffee, pizza, and various shops and restaurants. Chris was very easy to communicate with and helped us solve a few things at the place. We didn't use the kitchen but it looked to be well stocked. Has a Keurig but bring your own coffee pods.

Me and my two young children were visiting Louisville and surrounding area for the first time,; we were house and school hunting in preparation for a re-location next year. Chris, the owner of the property, was very kind, thorough, and considerate. His instructions for check-in were clear and he made it very easy to have access to him.. The house is in a nice, pretty, quiet, serene, and safe area. It was clean and very comfortable and well supplied with all of the basics. We had zero issues. Safety and quiet are two priorities for me, especially when I am with the kids, and so I am not easily pleased with alot of accommodations. However, I was quite pleased with this one and will definitely stay again. Very reasonably priced as well. Thank you Chris.

Chris is a wonderful host. I Love the old charm of the house and the neighborhood is great for walking. Chris has the house well supplied. It was very clean. Shops and restaurants on Frankfort are good too. So close to so many fun things to do.

Enjoyed our time at this property located in the Crescent Hill area. Lots of restaurants and shops were in easy walking distance. The host was very welcoming and easily reached by phone.

Great place to stay and use as home base when exploring UofL and the Louisville area. Chris was very helpful and accessible, even checking in with us though-out our stay. Lots of room in this dedicated condo that is located inside the main home. Recommend including check-in and Echo control use within description so folks are aware (very efficient and easy to use once understood, however not all are as tech savvy). Such a unique community and the rental is walkable to many restaurants and shopping.

We liked everything about our stay at The B. Great communication with Chris, comfortable accommodations and a great location for our activities in Louisville! We would definitely stay here the next time we’re in town!

Great for a weekend getaway

Was an amazing experience for all of us. It felt like we were home away from home. Chris was available at all times if we needed help with anything. He even checked up on us during our stay and asked about my daughter cheer competition. Since that was the reason we were in Kentucky was for her cheer competition since we are from Michigan. I would def go with Chris again if we were ever to come back down.

Kudos to the host. We traveled from NC through a snow storm to get to our destination. Host kept us updated on weather and was patient with our late arrival. Apartment was very clean and in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Will definitely be back.
