Very relaxing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the kids had a great time and the unit was pretty big to accommodate all of us( we had 7 adults and 6 kids that ranged from 3-12yrs). We rented for 4 nights. I wished I would have done a more thorough assessment of all furniture and esthetics before we settled in but we noticed some issues through the last day. Although you could not see any 'visible' dirt, the floors had not been mopped in quite some time and we found dirt/sand, trash under most of the beds and under other furniture. By the end of the first evening, the bottoms of everyone's feet were black from walking around. I won't go into any more detail as to what the other issues were because I did email the management company with pics of most things we did find but there were some other concerns that we noticed when cleaning up and getting ready to leave. Someone did respond but someone from maintenance did not call until the day before we left and he left a message and did not appear to be too interested in coming to fix anything because we were leaving the next morning and I did not catch his VM it was too late. I hope these issues are resolved before any other guests after us, notice. Overall, the unit is very nice, but a thorough walkthrough after every stay to check for cleanliness and any damage by a manager would help cut down a 'pile-up' of issues to be corrected. Who ever reads this review, please check everything thoroughly BEFORE the end of your first day!

Property was exactly as described, very clean and comfortable. We felt very safe at this location. Ocean views were wonderful. Grandson enjoyed the pools, lazy river and water slide.

The living room television was not working. Had to get someone to fix the problem. Problem taken care of rather quickly but previous attempt to deal with cable was poorly dealt witg. Also, y’all skimp on garbage can bags, toilet paper and dishwasher soap. If you would leave a few bags we wouldn’t have had to go buy at store. Toilet paper is poor quality

Great place to stay

Best thing about this property is the absolute beautiful views. Gorgeous balcony and 4 bedrooms overlooking the beach. Best sunrises every morning. Phoenix West was great with the amenities - nice pool, lazy river, beach access, etc. Check in and out was super easy. The place is huge so I get the complaints about the elevators / busy season - but September was a great time to go. At the time of our stay, the photos in the VRBO listing did not match the actual furniture in the condo - but they were of comparable quality. This is a company owned, not individual owned, condo so decorations lacked some charm and character. Kitchen had plenty of plates, silverware, etc. Cooking supplies were somewhat random collection of things that felt “left behind” by others. Fridge was missing 1/2 the shelves which made it difficult to store food. Several minor upkeep issues like that which we passed on to property management folks. Overall - lovely place to stay with even more lovely views and condo amenities.

Unit was decorated great and had all the amenities. wonderful gulf view. Parking for 3rd vehicle was tricky but extra cost. It was very nice to have an additional ice maker in the unit for drinks and coolers.

Very efficient and easy

We had a great vacation! The condo was very nice and spacious. It was very clean. The feature that I enjoyed the most was the corner balcony. You could see the ocean from every bedroom. I would recommend this condo to friends and family.

We had a great time the house was clean and in a great location there was 12 of us and we had plenty of room! Would definitely rent it again!

Despite the leak that ran us out of our first rental we all had a great week. We were thankful for the quick response and help finding us another location to stay.

This condo had incredible views of the ocean from every room! Spacious, clean, kid-friendly. The condo's location is so close to good restaurants, shopping, family friendly activities, and of course... the beach. We will definitely be coming back.

It was good. Just wish I could get my shirt back I left in the closet. I called immediately when I realized I left it. The front desk said they would contact housekeeping about it. But I never heard back they had found it. I know it was in the closet.

Loved this unit! Beautiful views from every room! Enjoyed all the time spent relaxing on the balcony.

Loved the condo but it was far from clean. The floors were filthy, there were dirty dishes and silverware in the cabinets and silverware drawer. No towels in the half bath. The furniture was very nice and meet our expectations. The patio was wonderful and we spent a lot of time there. Our only real complaint was the lhousekeeping.

Our family enjoyed our stay and had plenty of room. The 17th floor was the perfect view of the ocean!

We had a couple of issues (broken bed frame/box spring and light bulbs out on balcony, but the maintenance guy was quick to respond and take care of both problems. Helpful staff. However very crowded beach and pools should be expected at this time of year.

Had a great time

Everything was so easy from the checking in and checking out procedures. The condo is the best place we have stayed in Orange beach. Had beautiful views and pools. Everything is so clean and up to date. The kitchen had everything that one needs for the week of relaxation.

Our family had a great vacation at this condo. The balcony is so spacious on this corner balcony. The check in process was extremely easy. The toaster did not work when we got there and an email was sent. They immediately replied and had a new toaster at the condo quickly. Great response time! Rooms were nice and beds were comfortable. Would stay here again.

The property is fantastic. It had everything we wanted in the kitchen plus an ice maker! Lots of room for sleeping and plenty of bathrooms for our group! Would rent again in a heartbeat. The elevators had some issues but we worked around the challenges.

The only negatives are the pool and lazy river are too small for this size property. The elevators take a long time to become available because of so many people.

We enjoyed the unit and the complex. Issues that should be addressed in the unit: many of the receptacles throughout the unit did not function on the top part of the receptacle both in the bedrooms and living area, one of the lamps in the master bedroom had no switch to turn on the light, the shower light in the master bath does not work, the ice marker in the refrigerator makes very loud noises, the dryer takes at least 2 cycles for a ‘small’ load, one of the main patio door latches does not work, and the satellite goes off frequently. We did not report these issues during our stay since we did not want to have to wait for a repair person. The living room furniture and beds are very comfortable. Most of the issues mentioned did not prevent us from enjoying, they are mentioned for repair for future parties.

Pros: clean, spacious. Kids loved the lazy river, pool & slide, splash pad. All of those areas were clean. Beautiful views from our unit. Gorgeous property right on the beach with beach service on site for chair/umbrella rental. Check in/ out was easy. Cons: elevators were slow, and with 32 floors, people were waiting for a very long time. Especially for check-in/out. The floor of the condo was sandy even on check-in, so would bring some slippers or house shoes (to prevent sandy toes in bed). In a 4 bedroom condo, the Kitchen had 2 pans-a wok and a tiny skillet.

Only thru Prickett Properties could you ever have the beautiful vacation we had. The condo was so beautiful & clean. Prickett Properties went out of their way to make sure we were happy, comfortable & well taken care of. The views , interior & conveniences were amazing. I would never rent from any company in the Phoenix West but them again. Wonderful!
