Best family vacation ever!

The pictures in the listing are outdated, this house has all new furniture and is much nicer then the photos! It was a pleasant surprise for all of us! We stayed here with our grandparents and they loved that the kitchen, living room and bathroom were right next to each other and didn’t have to go us the stairs unless leaving the house!

My family and I stayed 4 nights at the Sea Gull Haven property, and all in all it wasn’t bad. The house itself was good, but it definitely could use some TLC on minor stuff. Like the electrical cords properly placed instead of strung across the wall like a messy teenager would do. Or the cable antenna being held up by the broken mini blinds. Newer TVs in the bedrooms would have great (nobody watches DVDs anymore). The “fully stocked” kitchen was lacking some basic supplies and utensils (pizza cutter, seran-wrap, etc.), and whoever cleaned it before we showed must have just done a quick once-over as there was hair and sand in both showers. The washer and dryer was nice. Location was great. Overall I’d give it a 7 out of 10. Bit overpriced, as other similar places were nicer and cheaper. At the end of the day I’d stay here again, but only if others weren’t available.

Kiwanda Coastal is wonderful per usual- this house lived up to its expectations - basic (not modern but true Oregon coastie feel) but comfortable with a big great room and stocked kitchen for cooking. The two bedrooms listed as queen bed sizes upstairs are by far NOT queens. Maybe a full- just an fyi. Beds are comfy otherwise. Thanks for a great stay!

This property is a great location. Short walk to great beach. Little walk but very doable to market food. Property could use some updates- but was good overall!

Easy walk to the beach and getting into town on the bike trail was a breeze. We even walked several times to the main Pacific City beach which was nice not to have to drive. Management was very communicative and check in was easy as well. Thank you!

This house needs a lot of upkeep. Im sure the house was cleaned prior to our arrival, but the woodwork is generally dingy and dirty leaving a general feeling of uncleanliness. The window coverings in two of the rooms were broken or in need of repair. The kitchen was recently updated but lacks necessities such as sharp knives, cutting boards(only 1 small one) etc. The internet is barely functional and should not be relied upon to stream anything. The “satellite TV” only has the basic networks and lacks any channels that even the most basic cable package would have (Only channels are ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and CW, along with approximately 10 home shopping channels)The location and the management company are great.

just a few minutes from beach. hot tub nice. for the price a decent property. Mattresses are very uncomfortable. Should replace couch mattress and bunkbeds. clean and well kept. We had a great visit.

I loved the setup, the kitchen was great and the hottub was well used!

The downstairs for the kids and parents, the upstairs for all of us with private bedrooms for grandparents and uncle made a perfect family gathering space. Loved the hot tub after surfing, paddle boarding, sand playing, hiking and sunset watching. The kitchen worked well for several cooks and we could crowd all 8 around the table.

The house was fine for a weekend stay. The beds were budget hotel comfortable and the kitchen pot/pan selection were manageable. The cleaning, however, left a lot to be desired; clumps of hair in the hot tub, thick dust in the window sills and corners, dishes left dirty in the cabinets, trash under the couches, stains on the sheets, and the grill got a good cleaning from us before we could use it.

Great location close to the beach. The hot tub was a hit with my kids. Little disappointed with comfort of the beds. The bed downstairs Felt like sleeping on a rock, but I realize every person is different. Overall great place.

The house was a touch dated but the proximity to beach and bright deck with hot tub made up for it

We enjoyed our stay at the house. It was clean and well organized, and very roomy. We especially enjoyed the deck and the hot tub. Key pick-up and drop-off was easy and convenient. We would rent it again.

We used the hot tub and that was a nice plus. It was a little hard getting up the stairs with all our gear to get to the kitchen and living space. The kids didn't mind. Nice lower area with bedroom and laundry and bath. We enjoyed our stay!

The house was great. Loved the bedrooms and open concept home. It was easy to hang out with the bigger group but nice to have separate rooms to sleep. The hot tub was a blast and the walk to the beach is 3 minutes. Our only cons were the mattresses downstairs were really bad and need to be replaced, the blinds on a few windows were broken and on the floor when we arrived and the living room seating was a bit odd. It would be great to have a bigger couch or another love seat so more people could sit comfortably. All in all, we'd definitely rent this house again!

House was clean, well stocked in the kitchen (except it could use some mixing bowls, so bring those if you are cooking). Has huge selection of games/puzzles/DVD movies plus Roku for movies. We enjoyed the hot tub and found the house had plenty of room for our 5 adults and two teens (could sleep a couple more easily). Teens had their own hang out room on the lower level with the bunk beds while adults had their own rooms, which was nice. Lower level bunk room doesn't have heat, but a space heater we found in the garage kept it cozy. Would recommend this as a good getaway house.

This is a three star house at a five star location, so I am giving it four stars. The location at Pacific Beach is awesome, with easy access to a beautiful beach and short walk to the little downtown area that has a little shopping area and restaurants. The hot tub was nice and made the kids very happy. The home sleeps a ton, with four bedrooms, 2 on each floor and one with a bunk bed plus a sleeper couch. The only dings are this property needs a bit of repair work. Floor upstairs in the kitchen is in disrepair, a blind was down in the Master, and there were several areas that needed a little fix to things like molding.... all that said we had a great time and most of the issues are cosmetic and it is a beach rental so not completely unprecedented. We would come back in a heart beat. No issues when we came in late getting the key, easy to check out, and generally the place was well stocked for cooking and cleaning. This is in a gated community as well which we felt was a bonus.

Loved the location and setup of the property. It was a nice space for two families to share. It needs a serious deep clean. The shower curtains were crusty with mildew. The outside of the tub in the master bath was mildewed. The base boards, doors, and railings were filthy. There were spots on the walls in several places that had stuff on them. The windows were mildewed. The cabinets and drawers were dirty with crumbs. The flooring in the kitchen kept shifting and coming apart as we walked on it. The area rugs were stained with spills. The flooring around the washer and dryer was filthy. There was a musty, mildew smell in the master bedroom by the south wall. The garbage can outside was too small and already full from the previous tenants. The enclosure for the can had additional bags in it and the birds were getting into them. The garbage truck came through and picked up the can and it was already over half full again after cleaning up all the garbage in the enclosure. We appreciated that there was recycle and hauled one load to the office to sort into the bins. The hot tub was a nice addition after we were able to get it up to temperature as it was only 74 degrees when we arrived. The house was well stocked with linens and kitchen utensils. The only way I would stay at this property again was if I saw that it had been thoroughly cleaned and kept up with things replaced that could not be cleaned.

The property was everything promised except when it said "steps to the beach", I thought it meant just a few. We were the third row of houses which was still very close but no view of the beach. The big deck and hot tub were excellent. We still had a fabulous time and our dog was in heaven.

The house was beautiful, but the management could be better. Certainly friendly, but their "late arrival" solution is a little concerning. Not to mention you should assume they're keeping the deposit regardless of how much you clean. Next time I'll probably just leave it a mess so they at least earn their money.

Nice location...but the house needs some updating and a good cleaning. One of the burners on the stove did not work, there is no tea kettle, the hot tub is difficult to adjust. With a little more TLC thus house could be much better!

Our family stayed here at the end of Spring Break. Very cute home with lots of fun things for the kids to do. (games, puzzles, movies & deer watching) The house was a two minute walk to the beach and ten minute walk to the Pelican Pub or grocery store. It's a great house for two families and we wish we would have invited another couple to join us as there was plenty of room. Will definitely stay here again.. c
