The mattress on the pullout couch in the loft was extremely old and thin, and it was falling down below the frame. The biggest problem we had was the Wi-Fi service, which was intermittently working, and when it was, it was very slow. There is only one TV in the house, which is in the living room, which is open to the loft. Streaming videos on a computer / iPad is definitely not possible due to the slow internet. Otherwise, it is very easy to access the house - a wide, paved road all the way up. Having the playground in the community was nice, but it needs to be sprayed for wasps, as there were nests under the slides, and someone got stung while we were there. There are puzzles, games, and books for kids available to use at the house, which was nice. There is also enough supplies to use during your stay (paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, etc.) which many other rentals do not supply, and you don't have to haul your trash to the dump. We had a minor issue checking in - our packet was not in the night time check in box, but after a phone call, someone came right down within 15 mins to get it for us. Overall, it is a nice house, but I would not be back to this one due to the beds and the internet problems.

The property was absolutely gorgeous and the views breathtaking. Very well suited for 2 families with 5 teenagers. The bedrooms were roomy and the overall layout of the house was perfect for our group. Our teenagers were especially complimentary of the time we spent together here and can't wait to come back next year!

This cabin is stunning! It is exactly as described, but what cannot be described is the calming effect it had on all of us. Sadly, we are living in stressful times, and this cabin offered all four of us the quiet we needed. We sat on the porch, soaking in the view, the weather and the serenity. While we visited the local attractions, including a ride to Biltmore, we were delighted to come back to this great house and relax in front of the TV or sit on the porch. We purchased groceries at Ingles, 10-15 min away, and were able to have great suppers at home.. Our only wish was to have more time to just stay all day at the cabin and play cards or work on a puzzle. Maybe next time. . . .

We've stayed here before under a prior owner. It was nice then which is why we rebooked. It is even better now. New owners have made a couple of major upgrades; new gas stove and 1/2 bath downstairs. We noticed and were grateful. We'll be back.

Well appointed cabin, very clean and well maintained. Loved the outdoor gas fire pit on an evening night. Great location for local hiking, great restaurants and r&r. Would recommend for adults and/or family.

This cabinet is everything they said it would be. . If there’s anything negative to say at all is that it is there is not much property al all, it is on the side of a mountain. It has a beautiful deck and view. We had firewood delivered & we relaxed by the fire mostly the whole time very enjoyable.

Easy in and out from the cabin and we loved the garage and loved our hot showers every evening.

We stayed 11 nights and would certainly recommend it. We most impressed with the views and the privacy of the location.

This was my favorite rental cabin of the 10 we have stayed in. The place was always cool, being very wooded and elevated. My teens loved tubing, rafting and ziplining. I loved the hikes. All were about a 40 minute drive, but worth it. I absolutely loved that this cabin had 3 full bathrooms. My girls loved the swing up in their room. It was very clean, and I didn't mind bringing our own blankets due to pandemic. I felt clean and safe and I may even continue to do this practice. Thanks for a wonderful week!

We loved the cabin it was so peaceful and you could here the water running . It was in a secluded wooded area and this cabin was spotless , whoever does their cleaning does a great job. We will be back when we stay in the Maggie Valley area

The space inside the cabin was more than enough for the five of us and the outdoor porch with the setting mountains and trees was gorgeous. This cabin sits inside a gated community with many houses, however due to the immense amount of vegetation and elevation changes we felt like we were the only place there. It felt extremely private. We utilized the kitchen quite a bit during our stay as we made several meals while there. The beds were okay, nothing extremely comfortable but fine. We found the washer and dryer to be very helpful during our stay too. The only disappointing thing was that the starter pack of dishwasher soap and lack of kitchen towels and washcloths as well as only one kitchen trash bag. You’ll want to be sure to bring soap, trash bags, toilet paper and dishwashing detergent if you stay here.
