The home was very cozy. I love the kitchen and the coffee. Everything was neat and well taken care of. I would had cooked a meal, because everything you needed was there. I will be booking again.

We had a great time and this property is very unique!

Our only regret was we wish our stay was longer , our host Suzanna was very easy to get ahold of and responded to any of our requests for restaurant recommendations or questions pertaining to the property. The rental is extremely clean and everything you need is provided . If you want a New Orleans experience , my advice is rent here, eat and drink local on a night or two. Go the short drive to the French Quarter to check out the sites, but embrace the unique local culture. We will be back.

Very attractive, well-appointed, clean property in a very cool neighborhood. Suzanna is an attentive host. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We had a great time in NOLA! Things are a bit quieter at the moment, which was just fine for us. We spent one day fishing which was lovely to see the water and wildlife, but we mostly enjoyed the walkable, safe, and eclectic neighborhood. Suzanna made us feel right at home, and even invited us to a neighborhood block party and outdoor music event. It was cool to meet her friends and neighbors and hear some good tunes while eating jambalaya and sipping wine on the street. Back at the house every detail was anticipated and graciously accommodated. We enjoyed the kitchen and front porch, even watched a little TV for the Saints game. The second half of the game was enjoyed a block down at the bar, at Markeys, which did a great job by socially distancing and contact tracing each party. (Something you don't see everywhere in this country but should.) Lastly, the bed was comfortable and we slept very well. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay!

I was so impressed by my first visit I specifically checked the property for availability for my next visit. I LOVE THIS SPOT! Peaceful, clean, fabulous and spacious. Add to that, a REALLY cool property owner who was considerate beyond expectations. As a frequent visitor of NOLA, this property is now my first request! Thank you!!!!

Suzanna is a super easy to deal with and we were able to check in early too!! It’s a beautiful place and the neighborhood is very nice. Parking is at a premium but we were able to park right in front of the property most of the time. There’s lots to see and do...bring your walking shoes!! Thank you Suzanna for all you did for us to make our stay memorable.

This wasn’t a typical Nola trip for me or for Nola in that i incorprated yoga, major walks, early mornings, early bedtimes. The house was fantastic, calm and light. the sitting porch where the neighbors say hi not once but every time they pass! The neighborhood vibe is so cool with just enough of a mix of old and new. Thank you i want to come back. Is tomorrow too soon?

I enjoyed the location of the property as well as the check in process of being able to unlock the house myself & safe with an alarm system. The location was perfect to be able to walk to coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and for sight seeing all around the bywater.

We've been burned in the past by listings that look stylish but lack the basics, but there was absolutely nothing missing from Suzanna's gorgeous, wonderfully located Bywater apartment, where we stayed for a week. It looks just as it does in the listing, and while compact, has plenty of space for hanging out, especially in the huge kitchen and welcoming front porch. The TV was Roku-equipped and good to go for watching a crucial Game of Thrones episode, the washer and dryer are large enough for long stays, and Suzanna is right next door with help and recommendations if needed--she also left copious written information, brochures, and New Orleans suggestions in the apartment. The Bywater is a great base!

The home was wonderful. Stocked with everything you would need. Suzanna was the best host I’ve ever had. Very hospitable. Also, it’s in Bywater which is a great cool neighborhood with lots of great places to eat near by as well as close to Frenchmen St

My teenage daughter & I absolutely had a fantastic stay with Suzanna. This was our very first time to stay in New Orleans & all of Suzanna’s suggestions were great! Her home is located in the perfect spot! We were able to take a very short walk to Crescent Park & enjoy 4th of July fireworks on the river. Everything we wanted to see & do was so convenient that our most expensive Lyft was $13. Home’s Decor is amazing & kitchen is stocked with everything you’d need to make meals which saved cost for us. Grocery & coffee shops are within walking distance which we loved since we were able to see this beautiful neighborhood. We felt extremely safe and area is quite. We enjoyed every night there with lots of girl talk, watching tv, or sitting out on the porch. It was so sad to leave and wished we could’ve booked a longer stay. We will definitely stay with Suzanna again very soon!

From start to finish, Suzanna's Bywater Beauty was a perfect & welcome contrast to the chaos of Jazz Fest. Was lovely to have a bright, open & comfortable space to call home after being at the Fairgrounds all day and shows at night. Suzanna was a great host & provided wonderful recommendations for food & drink in the Bywater. Speaking of the Bywater - it was my first time staying in that neighborhood and won't be the last, it's full of character and good times. Don't hesitate in booking Suzanna's place - you will love it & probably want to leave (I know I didn't!).

We loved our stay. The host was super accommodating to our schedule, and set up everything before we arrived. All of the decor is beautiful. The ONLY reason im giving it 4 and not 5 stars is because of the local rooster (a neighbors’ rooster??) woke us up EVERY morning at 5am. I so badly wanted to give 5 stars... but that rooster made it SO hard to enjoy every moment.

It was an amazing home, we loved everything about it. The owener was awesome and made our stayed in her house felt like home.

We loved getting to stay here during our Mardi Gras trip. It was the perfect location: we were able to walk or Lyft anywhere and everywhere we wanted to go, but we were able to return home to a quiet, peaceful abode. The home is exactly as immaculate as the photos portray, and we were so glad we booked it! It was super clean and had everything we needed: coffee maker and pods, toiletries, hair dryer, etc. The neighborhood is perfect: There is a little cafe a block over, Paloma Cafe, and it was the perfect place to grab a cup of coffee and breakfast in the morning. We love the Bywater and can't recommend Suzanna's place enough for your stay.

The house was under construction and I was not told that that was the case. Workers were there EVERY morning of my stage BEFORE 8 AM removing paint, climbing on ladders, etc. They were right outside the windows as I was attempting to get out of the shower one of the mornings I was there. The house is absolutely lovely and the owner was kind enough to bring me my drink of choice to the house before my stay, but that's where the good ended. Also, just to note, there is no TV in this house, so if you are used to watching TV at all, don't stay here. There is wireless, but there were no instructions in the house on how to join the network - the owner had to be contacted for that information. This is a beautiful property on the inside, but the neighborhood is at best very transitional - restaurants that were on the corner (very recently) by the house have closed. Honestly, there is just no excuse for construction going on during my stay without advanced warning. I feel that the entire cost of the stay should be refunded to me.

Loved everything about this home! Cute neighbourhood close to transit and the French Quarter. When you sit on the porch, everyone will say hello! Inside, the bed is firm, yet super comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Suzanna was not there when we checked in, but provided all information (and more!) for a smooth stay and was very responsive! Everything exceeded my expectations - I would stay again and again.

Wonderfully remodeled historic shotgun in the Bywater. My wife and I, found this property to be just perfect for our first trip to NOLA. Both restaurants next door were convenient with great food and drinks. Easy Uber from the airport, and into the city for fun. The owner was fantastic with quick responses to all of our questions, and very nice and accommodating when we spoke on the phone. We have used VRBO multiple times per year for the past 5 years, and this was by far the easiest booking! Thanks for everything and allowing us to be your first guests to your new property!
