What a beautiful 15th floor ocean view. We were so pleased with easy check-in. Excellent communication with the host. If you are planning ahead make sure you call and set up for beach service. We decided night before that we were stopping in Destin before heading to Orlando. We called ahead. Beach chairs still available but we were on the 3rd row which still offered a perfect view. Bar service starts at 11am. Only downfalls are: located on 98 which is super busy just about all times of day but that’s expected from a beach tourist area. Also the bed was very firm which some may like some may not. Overall we loved it!!

Condo was super cozy and clean! Had all the amenities needed! Views were spectacular being on a higher floor! Host communication was top notch! Everything with the condo was perfect!

Location...location...location! Such easy access to the beach. Property was just as advertised with everything you need. Our family really enjoyed our stay. 😀

This was our first time booking at pelican beach and honestly it’s pretty awesome and a little bit of a leg up property wise with security, beach waiters and a bar and lunch and snack options. Two pools. Covered parking. Nice resort! This unit is cute and the renter is very communicative and ontop of things which is appreciated. The bed was pretty firm and the pull out couch is not that comfy either but it was fine for a few nights. This unit is directly off the elevators so do keep that in mind. The bedroom is right there so you’ll hear everything. Overall nice place to stay as a whole. Good price.

Amazing place

The only issue we had was noise. The condo was clean, decorated very cute, kitchen was well equipped and clean, however We could hear foot steps above us, people talking (sometimes yelling)at the elevator, thumping on the walls, or floors in the room next to us. It was the noisiest place we have ever personally stayed at.

We couldn’t be happier with the property and condo that we stayed in for our family vacation in Destin. Amazing view, staff and property. We would recommend to everyone we know

Very clean & well maintained.

When we entered the condo, it smelled fresh and clean. My six-year old daughter LOVED the bunk bed alcove with TVs. The condo is equipped with nice, new looking appliances, including counter top appliances like air fryer, blender, toaster, etc. Host was very helpful and easy to reach. The pools were perfectly heated and we spent many hours swimming despite the fact that it is February! Beach is just steps away!

Upon arrival we were easily able to contact Bob about getting into the room a couple hours early. We loved the 15th floors view of the ocean. The condo was in good shape and had a great Florida vacation feel. My 2 youngest, 4 and 7, loved the double bunks with the TVs. My oldest, 11, loved having the pull out couch to himself. It had everything you could possibly need from dishes, cooking utensils, air fryer, games, beach chairs to umbrellas. The pools were amazing and the beach was perfect. My wife and I love the tiki bar drinks. Overall great family vacation for us 5.

Clean, well-stocked condo right on the water. Beautiful views from the balcony. I was worried about the noise with it being a large building and the unit directly above the pool but it ended up be very quiet. Nice location very convenient to lots of dining and shopping options.

Could not have asked for a better place. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Well stocked and convenient to everything. We will be back!

My sister and I stayed here while vacationing in Destin. The condo and amenities were very nice and we really enjoyed the view from the condo and access to the beach. Also, it was a short drive to the restaurant area and amazing places to eat.

We really enjoyed our beach trip! The condo was exactly as described. The view from the balcony was gorgeous. All of the pools were clean and well kept. The walk to the beach was very short. We had such a great time we stayed a couple extra days. We will definitely come back!

I have stayed at the Pelican a few times but this condo has been the best. It was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils and cookware. The view of the gulf and beach from the balcony is spectacular. The beach is literally a short ride down the elevator and a few steps outside. We used the chair and umbrella rentals while there but the room did have a couple beach chairs. We did not have to reach out to the owners however they were responsive with check in info and upon check out. We are pleased with our stay and will use this property again!

Stay was great, excellent location to a beautiful beach. Beach chairs are at the property as well as an umbrella so no need to rent the expensive ones! Stove was great and they had both style of coffee makers. Communication was excellent. A few normal issues just with “condo” living, some louder folks above us, wear and tear of the condo itself, but a great place to unwind while being out all day.

The resort is amazing and unit has everything you can ask for from views to updated bathrooms. All dishes were nice and air fryer helped out tremendously. Had a slight problem with the cable not working but the host got right back to me and walked me through the issue. Would highly recommend

Bob’s condo was just perfect. You couldn’t have asked for a better view and location. Everything that you needed was all there in the condo. My kids and I really enjoyed our stay. Bob made everything especially checking in with ease. He was very easy to get in touch with and answered any questions I had right away. I would definitely book this condo again in the near future.

Our family had a great time! Everything looked great and the view was amazing! We loved how convenient the location was to everything and how convenient everything was on the property. Seeing the fireworks on the beach was beautiful!!! We would definitely stay here again!

The condo had a terrible smell musty old mildew?! Possibly?

We were so happy with our stay and can’t wait to go back!! Everything was perfect - the unit, the property, the beach! Bob and his wife were fully transparent on the condos work being done and was great about offering options in regards to our stay.

Pros: Cute condo with amazing views. Spacious condo and had lots of kitchen necessities. Owner prompt with responses. Security on property was very visible. Great family vacation spot. Cons: Only negatives were lack of bath towels for family of 5, ocean front pool and hot tub closes at dusk, musty smell in condo, not enough toilet paper in restrooms for longer stays.

Updated clean condo fully equipped with all you need! Owner was great with communicating and would highly recommend. Pull out couch was comfy when needed. We brought our own light comforter . 1503 is right by W/D units across hall which is convenient. Repainting the outer building during break was a minor annoyance only one morning. Rent front row beach chairs and pay the premium! So worth it. Will be back!

Great condo and Bob the owner was excellent with his communication. Condo is very well equipped and perfect views of the gulf. Convenient to everything. We decided to stay an extra night and Bob had us booked within minutes. Great experience and highly recommend

This place was gorgeous and view was great! Loved sitting out on the balcony watching the dolphins! Water was beautiful and kids loved all the pools!

Have rented from this owner 4 years now and have always been pleased with our units and the helpfulness of the owner.

Amazing view!! Amazing communication with owner. Do not hesitate to contact with questions or issues. This building (as well as many others in the area) are being worked on thru spring. This off season may not be the one you want to travel here. But these owners definitely worked with us to make it right. We hope to try again someday as this unit and location were spectacular!!

My wife, 3, 6, and, 8-year old's drove 14 hours from Chicago to enjoy Destin and the awesome Pelican Beach Resort in which this condo is located. The weather can be hit or miss down in Destin in December, but the condo has 4 heated pools and 3 hot tubs to choose from. One of the heated pools is even indoors! Perfect for my small kids, and for those colder days. Now imagine arriving after a long day of travel and seeing ongoing construction, painting, and maintenance around 3/4 of the property. 3 out of 4 pools CLOSED. 2 out of 3 hot tubs CLOSED. Ok well let's make the best of it right? When we headed to the only pool available, we were walked thru a tunnel of scaffolding with wood dust, paint chips, drop cloths, and metal fencing with "do not enter", and "Pool Closed" signs. Sounds of hammering, saws cutting decking, scraping of metal, with the occasional nail gun firing could be heard. The only pool open was warm at times but large. The only hot tub available had a huge sign that read, "CHILDREN 15 years old and younger are PROHIBITED from using this hot tub." We also bought steaks and burgers to cook at the resort on their gas grills that are made available to guests, but those too were off limits due to the scaffolding and floating debris. We specifically chose this location back in October because we knew it had options for our kids if the surf was too rough or temperatures weren't ideal. Bob never mentioned any of this information. 4 messages were sent by Bob on the VRBO app before we arrived and none of this maintenance was ever disclosed. Nothing was mentioned anywhere of the work being done. I messaged Bob when we arrived to express our displeasure and he wasn't even available. Instead, his wife Eta responded stating she felt terrible and refunded us 50% of our room rate. She continued to say that they had no idea this was going on and the condo board only advised them that some activity was scheduled for "sometime in December". Yet when riding in the elevators on the property and hung in the lobby, were detailed schedules of their painting project and boardwalk replacement and the document was outlined with specific dates ranging from September 19, 2022 - May 26, 2023. We would of never of chosen this condo had we known of this scheduled maintenance. I can't help but feel as if this was done intentionally to get some money during an unrentable time. During normal operations this place is awesome. I advise to call the condo first.

Comfortable and had everything we needed.

We went on this trip as our family Christmas present. One day it rained, and we enjoyed playing games in the condo and shopping at the local mall. Other days, the weather was in the low 70’s. It was perfect for my small children to play in the sand on the beach and put their feet in the water. The heated outdoor pool at the condo was awesome and very kid-friendly. In the condo, the bunk beds were perfect for my kids. The master bedroom was able to be made totally dark, which was nice to put a pack n’ play for my baby. View from the room was beautiful, and we even saw dolphins from the balcony. Bob was friendly and communicated well.
