Nice place and great location. I realize it's difficult to keep the floors without sand when you're next to the beach, but the floor was rough. Main problem was with the front sliding doors - the sand and the rain poured thru because we were there on a windy day.

Loved this rental! Clean, modern style with nice furniture (the new sofa is AMAZING), lots of outdoor seating, & of course the views are a must see. Convenient on the first floor for our elderly parents. Friendly managers. We'd rent again!

The only complaint I have is that the floors were disgusting! If we walked around barefoot or in our socks, they ended up black not long after. Yuck. Otherwise it was great.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Beachside 1 place. It was only 2 of us but could easily fit 4 to 6 people, the beds were new, the tv's were all smart and in every bedroom, we had the whole patio to ourselves which had different seating areas, there was plenty of kitchen stuff, and parking was easy. Our only complaint was electricity went off during our stay, which we realize was a City issue. Overall a great 5 star vacation home!

The location is amazing! There were a couple things we were disappointed about. The sheets in one of the bedroom were stained. You can tell they were washed and cleaned but stained I recommend just getting new sheets all around. Also me and my husband wanted to watch a movie in the living room and we wanted to use the pull out bed to be comfortable and it had mold on it :(. I understand with being so close to the water it happens but those were the only two things we weren’t happy about.

The unit was in need of maintenance and we did not receive the attention we expected from our issues. 1. They say the windows are washed on Monday but all that means is that someone comes by and squirts the wall of windows with a hose. Then the accordion doors have gaps between them and the water came into the living room upon our arrival. And 1 of the 4 panels of glass had moisture between the double panes so you could hardly see thru it all. The solution we were given for the water in the living room was to use towels to clean it up. I would think that is management's responsibility. Then one of the two toilets was leaking water on the bathroom floor and again we were told to use the towels to wipe it up. They said they couldn't get a plumber until the following day but it was starting to be an issue with wet towels on the ground so we fixed it ourselves. Not good. The only window in one of the bedrooms was completely blocked by a very high headboard which is illegal as there is no escape route in case of a fire. Dangerous! Only 2 of the 4 folding doors retract as there is corrosion from the salt making it very difficult to open. And only after a terrible screeching noise to get them to budge. If it were not for the beautiful patio and view, I would have rated it lower. I would never stay here again.

Loved our stay! The sliding door should be fixed or be replaced as it's incredibly difficult to open and close.

Great indoor/outdoor space. Enjoyed the large patio on boardwalk. Accordion doors provided great ocean views but were tough to open and close.

We loved how open and air this rental was, also was great having the entire patio for this unit. The beds were super comfy, sufficient kitchen and beach stuff. We had a problem with the garage but the Surf Style manager fixed it right away. Thanks for a great stay!

we were constantly harassed and bugged everyday of our trip by the old couple living above, a lot of the amenities didnt work. no cable in the rooms, the sliders wouldn't not open all the way or lock properly. for as much money i don't think I'd rent it again especially if we are gonna be harassed by people who are upset that you guys rent out the houses to weekend people. great location but terrible experience.

Our group of 6 had an absolute lovely stay. Having the ocean front first floor patio all to ourselves was well worth it. So easy to access the beach, fun bbq'ing, & we all enjoyed the San Diego sun on the different seating areas. The house was super clean and had more than what we needed, parking was easy & very convenient with direct access to the house, and the beds looked brand new. We've already booked for the Fall, special thanks to Cassie for a repeat discount :)

We really enjoyed our long Easter weekend on the beach! The patio was the best. We felt like we were sitting on the sand. The unit was actually as described and the Surf Style Team was easy to work with. After parking our F-150 in the garage, we walked everywhere. Can't wait to go back again!

You can’t beat the view at this rental- only a pedestrian walkway between you and the beach. The unit was clean but definitely in need of a facelift. Lots of dings and wear and tear overall. Some of the outdoor cushions we pulled out of the closet were mildewed. The sliding doors need to be replaced. We could only get the living room doors open about 2 feet so didn’t even try in the bedroom. Loved the location but would give the unit itself 3 stars.

Huge patio, great people watching on Ocean Front Walk. 2 bed 2 bath, garage, nicely appointed and furnished. Close proximity to all activities in Mission Bay. Bike, walk, skate to all the cool spots. We will be back.

Very beautiful view, the home beautiful decorated, accommodated me and my grandkids with all Your needs for the beach, markets and restaurants close by, but for takeout only. Thank you for a memorable and a great time

We as colleagues had wonderful time staying in this property. We were able to access everything in the condo. The second floor guests had your children and therefore we were subject to their voices and could hear them running around. We were very respectful of them and yet it would of been nice not to have the action above us.

Hubby, and friends ...relaxing biking riding, corn hole, laughing, playing cards and the Ocean! ! Beautiful! (sliding glass doors are very difficult to manage)

Property would have had all 5 stars, but communication with property management was poor. We reached out the morning of our visit to request early access (2 hours), due to a flight change. There was no answer and we left a voicemail. We never received a call back. Hard to give all 5 stars, considering 'check-in process' and 'communication with prop-management.' The unit itself is wonderful and clean. We will return.

This was my family's second stay in a Surf Style home and it was wonderful! Would definitely stay again.

We loved our location and beach front condo for our 3 week stay. There were several items that needed fixed during our stay and Surf Style was most responsive and accommodating. As we traveled around the area we also noticed that the Surf Style condos were always neat, clean and a pleasure to view.

The home was perfect for 6 and seems a lot bigger once you open the patio doors to the outside. The patio is where we spent most our time, they had comfortable cushions + a shade umbrella, fabulous for people watching. Everything was well maintained, the manager responded almost immediately.

We stayed the week prior to Christmas and it was a perfect place to celebrate our beach family Christmas week. Patio size is great (perfect for little ones) and the location is just far enough from the busier areas that it is peaceful and easy to get to whatever you want without using your car. Garage is great to keep bikes, etc. and they provide a perfect amount of sand toys, chairs, boogie boards, etc. House is decorated wonderfully and all amenities were great and up to date as well. Thanks so much.

The home is amazing! Perfectly situated right on the boardwalk. Updated, clean, modern, & very bright. We enjoyed watching the surf and sunsets, and BBQing on the patio. Once you're there you don't need to use the car anymore, you just want to spend time on the beach or on the couch in front of the boardwalk.

Fantastic location, beautiful views - floors could have been cleaner, needed more toilet paper, front folding doors were difficult to operate - but overall we had a great stay

Amazing view, comfortable furnishings, beds and well appointed.

Five of us, Mother, daughters and 3 year old granddaughter, had a girls 4 night getaway. Accommodations were perfect, location was awesome, and we had million dollar views. This location cannot be beat when traveling with little ones. We will be back next October.
