This was a cozy cottage with easy access to all things beach. The communication was great and loved that we had room for our family and our car. Would stay here again.

Our stay at Molly’s Mission Beach cottage was exactly what we were looking for when my husband and I booked our anniversary trip. This cute little cottage is a mere few walking minutes from the beach and the bay. We spent some of our days hanging out at the beach, visiting some of the cute little shops, and eating and drinking our way through the many cute little coffee shops, restaurants and bar & grills within walking distance of the place. The rental is a cozy two bedroom that was just enough room to stop by for a rest in between our walks on the beach and trips around the area or crashing at night. It is cute, clean and beachy!!!! Molly was also wonderful to work with before, during and after our stay. Communication was clear and timely. She even remembered it was our anniversary and left us a sweet basket of goodies to celebrate! We would definitely rent this place or from one of Molly’s other places the next time we are in town!

Great location. Ocean (great for surfing and relaxing), restaurants and stores are all in walking distances. Public transit right in front of door. Very comfortable and cozy place. Bedrooms are a bit small but big enough to spend the night and also enough storage for clothes to hang up and put in drawers. Big kitchen with a 3 chair bar height (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, some K-cup coffee available to start with etc. included). Comfortable size living room with a 3 seating couch. There is a foldable table and chairs if needed. Molly, the host answered all the questions I had in no time. We will definitely stay here again when visiting San Diego.

It’s a perfect stay for a small family. Very close to the beach, restaurants and stores. The host MOLLY , she is a super nice and helpful person, very hands on, she will reply you message very quick. I would recommend her place any time. I hope in the future we will return to her cottage.

The cottage was the perfect place for me. The location couldn't be better. The beach, bay, restaurants, bars, and liquor store are within walking distance. It is close to the action but the cottage is quiet. Molly was easy to communicate with.

Great location! Something different to do everyday. We stayed 5 nights in the end of July and it was perfect. Place was exactly as advertised, great location and had just what needed. Tons of beach toys, chairs, umbrella. Would recommend to any and all!!

The cottage was immaculate, well-equipped, warm and welcoming. All of that and ideally located. Would love to stay again.

Lovely little home near beach and within walking distance is lots of restaurants. Really the perfect spot to enjoy the beach with our grandkids. We only had one small challenge. We arrived late at night and it was quite tough to find the place and the parking spot requires some skill to use. When we walked outside the next morning and saw where we were we were knocked out. Definitely the best location we have ever found in a VRBO.

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was close to everything and the coffee stand at the end of the alley was awesome! The place is small as described, but it worked out fine for us 4 as we spent most of our time at the beach and traveling around. It was a great home base while we were in San Diego!

This place was perfect for our family. We appreciated having the two rooms. Everything was clean and well labeled. Molly was very responsive whenever we had questions and proactive in letting us know everything we needed to know for a good stay. Location is fantastic. It can get loud on Saturday nights (but it’s part of being close to everything) but peaceful and quiet other nights. Walking distance to the bay and beach was amazing!

Mollys cottage is in the best location, steps away from great food, a minute walk to the beach, and close to so many attraction. 10/10 I will definitely stay again!

The cottage was walking distance to everything we needed (coffee, restaurants, the beach) and a short drive to other excursions like the zoo and SeaWorld. We were able to take our kids in the stroller all around mission beach. The only downside with littles is that there is no bath tub.

Great little location with a parking spot off street. Smaller alley but we managed just fine in a mid size suv. Amazing coffee spot right out front off Mission and plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. The section of the beach that’s closest is quite relaxed and has a more mature crowd. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Would stay here again.

Everything we needed was at the cottage, slight hiccup on check in but Molly was fast responding and helped us get it sorted. Cottage is small (as advertised) but worked perfectly for our family. Walking distance to everything you need. Comes with a parking spot which was important to us. I was driving a mini van and had absolutely no problem getting in and out of the parking spot (some reviews mentioned it was hard getting in and out of)

This property was perfect for what we needed! This was our first trip as a family to SD, and it was great. Molly's place was perfect. Everything needed was provided, and went above and beyond to make sure we had some extras for our toddler. The location was great, easy in and out, dedicated parking spot, and having the air conditioning was perfect the week we were there. Highly recommend this location and staying with Molly's properties!

We had a wonderful stay! Easy walking access to beach and bay. Plus centrally located for walking north to Pacific Beach or south to Belmont! Wonderful touch to have Beach chairs and toys to use.

Communication was smooth and the cottage was clean and ready for our family vacation. We had a wonderful time in this prime location for beach, bay, and all that mission beach has to offer! Great spot!

We had a great stay at this beach bungalow! Very small property but a good size for 2 adults and a child/toddler/infant. I wish there was a way to access the front door for convenience but entering through the back door was super simple. Perfect location for immediate access to the bay and the beach. Parking spot is tight but manageable. Kitchen has all the amenities you need, we made many meals here. We would stay here again for sure!!

This was the perfect little cottage for our family of 3. The AC unit is nice because we had to close the windows at night due to noise and my toddler trying to sleep. However, after 10pm it got quiet all 5 nights we were there, including the weekend. You are able to walk to many good restaurants and coffe shops within a few minutes. We’re hoping to return next summer!

We booked kind of last minute and were happy to find something exactly where we wanted. Met some family who were staying nearby and they liked this property better than the one they booked. Everything went so smoothly, we thought about trying to stay another night, but other plans nixed that. Would stay here again no problem.

We rented this cozy place for 4 of us. 2 adults, a 15 yr old and 4 yr old. It is small like the listing said, but location made up for it. Every morning and night we walked to the beach and explored the area. Cottage was exactly like photos. The beds were comfy and had all the options we needed for a week stay. We did hear people outside on the weekend, but nothing wild and crazy. All the neighbors and other tenants were quiet and respectful. The parking was tight (I made my hubby do it!) and previous posts indicated to pull into the handicap and back in. That made it so much easier!! We fit a full size car with no issues. Check in was super easy and host was quick to respond when we had a question. Only think I could recommend would be to add a few plastic plates/cups. I always worry my little will break glass. And to add a key pad to the front of the cottage similar to the back to make it easy to get in either door. Bottom line is that we enjoyed the location and ease with the host that we are looking at rebooking!

Molly's cottage was perfect for my husband, our little guy (~2yrs), and me! We absolutely loved our stay and are already dreaming about staying there again. Molly was a fantastic host! She was always quick to reply and she made sure we had everything we needed for a carefree stay. The cottage is in a prime location, just a short walk to the bay or the beach with delicious and family-friendly restaurants within a few steps too (Olive Cafe & Miss B's Coconut Club). I wondered if the street noise would be too much when we booked the rental, but we found the noise to be minimal and we were all able to sleep soundly. The cottage is tastefully decorated and had great natural lighting. We found it to be spacious for our family of three, with room for our little guy to run around (he loved making laps through the house since the bathroom is shared between the two bedrooms with pass-through doors that allowed him to make a full loop). The main bedroom is a little cramped with the door/bed, but we were grateful for the larger bed in a smaller room. There was space in the main bedroom closet for our luggage. It would have been a nice bonus to have a dresser but the nightstand's pull-out basket drawers worked for us to store our clothes. We were grateful Molly offered a Graco Pack 'n' Play and Ikea high chair. Both items were in great condition (the high chair was brand new). The high chair was a perfect height for the folding table; it was a little low for the kitchen countertop. Also, the parking spot at the house was GREAT! We've stayed in Mission Beach before and had a rough time with parking, but this one was easy to navigate even with an SUV. My husband would just have me spot for him to make sure we didn't nick something. It was extra simple for him to back in when he could use an empty parking spot across the alley for easier navigation (these spots were always open after business hours for extra easy parking). The one bummer to me was that there was not a key to be able to come/go through the front door so we always left through the back door that lead out into the alley. The alley was quiet, though, and we never felt uncomfortable walking in it with our son. I just missed the quaintness of walking the court, but we still got to enjoy part of it on the way to the bay. Overall, we heartily recommend Molly's Cozy Cottage! Thank you for a great stay and giving us the opportunity to form exceptional family memories, Molly!

We really enjoyed our stay in Mission Beach in this cozy little cottage. Everything was clean, well maintained, and as advertised. This spot was close to the beach, the bay, and lots of restaurants and shops. So much to do in walking distance or just a short car ride away. Perfect!

This great little cottage was just the right size for me and my two teen age daughters! It worked as a wonderful home base, with the beach only a block or so away. With so many restaurants to choose from only one or two blocks away, we did not cook, but the kitchen seemed to have enough dishes, pans, and utensils to get the job done. My girls loved the place!

This house is a little small but perfect for the two of us this weekend. It was clean, location is close to the beach, has a parking spot and had everything we needed. We would stay there again.
