We spent every morning drinking our coffee looking at the beautiful emerald coast. The beach is beautiful with access to umbrellas and beach chairs. Convenient to grocery store and great restaurants. Will be back!

The owners were in touch and checked on us to make sure everything was okay. We appreciated the beach chair and umbrella provided. We loved that Pelican Beach had everything in close proximity, including the pools and beachfront. Reserving beach chairs is the way to go because if you don’t, you are stuck in the back of the beach without even being able to hear the ocean. It’s very crowded so if you are looking for a more spacious beach experience, this resort is not it! The condo itself was clean and well kept.

Very nice place and I would come back. Sometimes it was difficult getting an elevator since I stayed on the 17th floor.

The property was perfect! Nice, clean, great location. The suite had an awesome view of the gulf. The resort amenities were nice. The heated pool and jacuzzi was a plus considering the evenings were cooler. We reserved beach chairs and an umbrella for our stay and ordered beach service from the cafe. The elevator was always busy , but not too bad. Everyone was in good spirits and happy to be on vacation. We enjoyed our stay and will be back to make more family memories!

17th floor, gorgeous beach view. Nice unit, conveniently located, parking accessible. Owners very responsive to our communications and grateful of our interactions. Resort let us know we weren't leasing from them. Elevators worked sporadically (2 of 4) and didnt seem an urgency of resort. Had a great time, comfortable surroundings and a gulf view to die for. Would definitely lease from owners again.

Greta place to stay, very clean and easy to get in and out of. Greg and Missy are also great hosts and communicate excellent with guests. Can’t recommend this place enough!

We really enjoyed our stay. The listing is exactly as stated. The only downside was the walls are thin and you could hear babies crying throughout the night but this was not the owners fault . Would stay here again.

This property is located on a beautiful beach and has lots of amenities including: indoor and outdoor pools, kiddie pool, hot tub and a nice beach service restaurant with lots of menu options….and their food tastes great. They have plenty of parking and a nice area to load/unload. They have carts available similar to most Hotels to ease the moving in/out process. When we arrived, our room was clean and ready to enjoy. The balcony has a beautiful oceanfront view which makes you just want to sit out there and take it all in. Overall our experience was very pleasant and enjoyable. This is by far the nicest beach we have ever visited and the clear blue tinted water is just amazing. No need to be concerned about dining out as this area has lots of great restaurants to choose from. We really enjoyed our first trip to Destin, Florida.

Condo was very nicely decorated. My fiance especially loved the elephant next to the TV. Everything felt very homey. View from the balcony was AMAZING!! Beautiful bedroom. Plenty of towels and linens. Enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen. Very close to lots of shopping and lovely restaurants. We would LOVE to stay here again!! Thank you Greg & Missy for your hospitality.

Everything about the condo was as advertised. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. The view was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed the balcony and the short walk to the beach. We did rent beach chairs as recommended. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit chilly to stay out too long, so we didn’t use them as much as we had hoped to. Regardless, we were glad we had them. The only thing we did not love about our time was Destin traffic. And not because there was a lot of traffic (which there was), but because of how traffic flows. The need for u-turns and cutting across traffic was a bit of a challenge and kept us from venturing out as often. But we came for the beach and the gorgeous water, and we were not disappointed!

Overall, the condo location (18th floor ocean front) was fine...however there was construction going on, which was VERY loud. The owners should have never rented the condo during this timeframe. We assumed the construction would be on the ground floor and around the property. Instead, the workers were on every balcony, removing the tile flooring (jack hammers, shop vac, etc). This made the condo vibrate and was so loud that it drowned out the volume of our portable speaker (tried to play music over the noise). From 7am to 5pm for approximately 5 days straight, we could not stay in the condo due to the noise, and the balcony was locked from the outside (the entire stay) so we could not enjoy the balcony either. This means no sleeping in, no watching movies, etc. The owners did offer and refunded us $100 out of the total amount I paid. Honestly, we did expect more than $100 off for the extreme inconveniences suffered, but we did appreciate the gesture. However, the constant noise and zero balcony access due to the construction was not how we wanted to spend our 5th anniversary together. Had I known it would've been that bad, we would've chosen somewhere else to stay. Again, overall, a good condo/location but a terrible experience and stay. We would love to stay again but definitely not during construction with zero access to the balcony which was the only main window of the condo (minus the bedroom which shows you the outside interior of the building (city view). Lastly, the bed was uncomfortable and sank toward the middle of the bed so we didn't sleep consistently throughout our stay. It would have been 5 stars if no construction.

This location is great and the view from the balcony was perfect. Communication with Greg was really good leading up to our stay. With this said, this condo was not clean. I believe this is the COA’s cleaning service. We stayed, a few months ago, in a different condo on the property that we booked through Pelican Beach. It was not clean but was hoping, a VRBO unit would be cleaned by a different cleaning service. It was obvious this is not the case. The floor was covered with sand, long hair in the sink, furniture was dirty. Kitchen table had crumbs on it, coffee table had food on it. I don’t believe the floor had been mopped in months, if ever. The dishwasher was not working properly, dried dish detergent caked on the inside of the dishwasher. A couple minutes of effort and the arm was fixed and the appliance works okay now, The living room furniture is not at all comfortable. The description said this is a recently renovated unit, I don’t believe this to be true. Yes, there is some tile that may be new. There might be some pieces of furniture that is newer. The bed is very comfortable, the dresser is not actually a dresser, so you’ll live out of a suitcase. We actually left a day early. Another evening on the furniture wasn’t what we were looking for. It’s unfortunate, this could be an amazing vacation spot, and if you don’t intend to spend anytime in the condo, you may enjoy the stay.

We had a wonderful stay here! Condo was clean and in a great location. Owners were easy to communicate with and we had everything we needed. View was amazing and very peaceful!! Beach access was super easy and pool and hot tub were nice. There was some painting going on and one pool was closed but it being off season there was adequate space for everyone to use facilities that were available. The updated colors to the building are looking great and it was nice to see a place doing maintenance. Everyone was pleasant and the bed was comfy! Would definitely stay again.

Condo was absolutely gorgeous! We really liked the resort also. Everything was very clean. The pools and beach were very nice. Reasonable food and drink prices at the cafe. The condo owners were very responsive to questions. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful vacation!! From the beginning to end, our experience was amazing. Contact with Greg and Missy was quick and easy and they took care of things so quickly. The location and views cannot be beat! We are headed home now but can't wait to go back.

Very clean condo that was exactly like pictures. Owner was quick to respond when we had questions during the trip. Only downside to resort is if you don't rent their chairs on the beach you have to sit behind all of their chairs and it's 5 rows of 20 chairs. Would definitely rent chairs way ahead next time- which owner recommended, but we forgot to do :) We hope to stay again!

The view is great! The kitchen has what we need to prepare meals. Normal wear & tear for a beach destination. It isn’t far from the Walmart, Dollar Tree, Target, & many restaurants. The owners are great. They are quick to respond & very helpful.
