Our family of 4 returns to stay at this beautiful home every year! It is a gorgeous location and our visit is always a highlight of our summer!

This was a great cabin for our extended family. It was close to beaches, the kitchen was wonderfully equipped and the large deck was great for relaxing on.

This is a beautiful, peaceful, comfortable place that was a great location for a weekend stay for me and my teenage son. It is walking distance to Spencer Spit State Park, and a quick drive away from other hiking spots and from town. The beds were comfy, and the wood-burning stove perfect for a rainy evening. Next time we will bring the whole family!

Three generations from east coast and west coast had a wonderful time together at the cabin. Great location. Beautiful view. Clean and well stocked with everything we needed.

Loved the property! Secluded and quiet with a peek a boo view of ferries going by. Close to Spencer Spit State Park. Fully stocked with spices, games, toys, etc. Spacious deck for morning coffee and afternoon drinks. Will definitely return!

We were delighted to see how easy it was for us to walk down the hill to the beach and on the gravel road to Spencer Spit. We found the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals and grill outdoors every nite. I loved the wood burning stove for the cold mornings and the fact that the home had enough screens to allow us to sleep at nite as it didn't have air-conditioning. Mu children were delighted with the number of toys in the closets and the large yard where we set up the "summer olympics". Rich was a very responsive host and did a great job supplying linen and towels for our entire family.

overall impression was good it could have been more comfortable however, the mattress was hard and lounging in the living room was all but impossible ! We had a few un invited guests in the form of large black carpenter ants too.

Many rentals are not as nice as advertised. This one really is. The house is lovely and the huge deck and yard are wonderful.

Came out for a girl's trip with my mother-in-law and 3 year old daughter. We were delighted as soon as we pulled up to the property. It could certainly house much more people than us three, so it was quite luxurious to have all that space to ourselves. The cabin was completely set up with everything we needed to live comfortably. My daughter was thrilled with the amount of toys, particularly the train tracks. Rich provided good directions which was handy while we drive up the windy mountain road, as well as lists of restaurants and things to do around the island(s). I would definitely come back to this very special place. Thank you Rich for the lovely stay.

Nice cabin in a quiet location but with easy access to Lopez Village and beaches.

Overall impression is excellent. A couple of suggestions: Overabundance of toys in one of the bedroom closets and storage of linens, etc. in the other with no rod made it difficult for guests to place clothing. Housekeeping should check that the guests checking out have done their dishes as we found many hot chocolate caked-on coffee cups on the shelf. Major plus was there are plenty of games to play for all ages AND the lawn was a perfect place to throw the frisbee (provided) and football for our teens. They did not miss their tablets!!! We would return.........

This cabin reminded me of the cabins I used to rent in Northern Minnesota- very warm and cozy. Enough space for everything you need but not so much space that you rattle around. Two nice queen bedrooms downstairs, and a semi-open queen loft upstairs. One BA up, one down. Nice appliances and comfortable main room for board games and watching movies. Weather was uncooperative so we couldn't really test the deck, but it was spacious and the chairs looked comfortable. Owner was responsive and helped us figure out what to sightsee on Lopez. Would absolutely stay here again.

The place was perfect - clean, great view, well-organized, and well-supplied with cooking and games and movies and blankets and everything you'd want for a stay. Nice big place for our family of 4, would work well for two close groups as well, or three in a pinch. Only suggestion would be for a water filter pitcher to handle the well-water system and some sediment in the tap water.

Loved the surroundings, privacy, nearby Horse Drawn farm and the Farmers mkt. will be back to continue to explore the island and its charms. Hoping for better air next time’

This property was perfect for our family, Grandma, Papa, Mom, Dad and kids 6, 4, 2 and 5 months. First, the location is gorgeous with acreage, room to play and no worry of neighbors. The deer visited every day. We could quickly drive to our next adventure. The house was perfect for us. The three older kids were upstairs in the bunk beds and big bed. There is also a cute reading nook. There are two bedrooms downstairs and one had ample room for the pack and play. There is plenty of seating for movie watching and games and eating. We only cooked simple breakfasts and made lunches to take on our hikes. We had take out for dinner.......so not much experience in the kitchen, but it suited our needs perfectly. The owner was very easy to communicate with, and the instructions were very clear. The house was very clean with many supplies, games, toys and movies. There is internet. We hope to stay here again soon!
