We had a wonderful weekend at Michael's home. It was beautiful and had all of the amenities you could ask for! The outdoor space was very special and had something for everyone. A pool, hot tub, fireplace, outdoor kitchen, shaded TV area, you name it and it was there! The most unique part of the stay was the decor from all of Michael's travels. We loved the art and enjoyed looking at all of the different pieces from around the world! We will definitely be back!

Great location. Easy access to everywhere. Very clean. The backyard was fantastic. Plenty of sun and plenty of shade when you need it. Owners were very accessible for any questions you might have.

We stayed here for a week with 4 adults and 1 23-month old toddler and had an absolutely amazing time! The location was the perfect jumping-off point for exploring both Palm Desert and Palm Springs and we found plenty of family-friendly activities to keep us occupied. The highlight of the trip for me, however, was the time we spent in the beautiful backyard. The pool has a heated upper section, which was perfect for the cooler January weather. The cabana was wonderful for when the sun got too warm, and the grill was perfect for making food in the backyard. There's even a heater and a fireplace outside! The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, and just about anything you might need to make meals. I hope to stay here again in the future!

Very nice house! Backyard has a small pool with a hot tub, BBQ area, tiki hut, outdoor fireplace and even an outdoor "TV room". Great communication with the host and it is very close to shops and restaurants in Palm Desert. Would come back for sure!

This property was absolutely perfect for our family of four. We loved everything about the home, especially the backyard which was beautifully landscaped and had a pool, hot tub, tiki bar, fireplace and free standing heater. Michael was a terrific host! We will definitely be returning to this property when we visit Palm Springs again. Thank you for making our visit so comfortable and enjoyable.

This property is your answer. The house and the others in this small community have the charm you hoped you would find in Rancho Mirage! The landscape begins your starts your healing it is so calming. Open the door and you are wrapped in tranquility. There is such on open plan that thanks to the glass doors along the back of this house you are instantly drawn to the wonderful personal retreat that is the backyard. Thanks once again to some great landscaping you have a private resort that includes: SPA, Pool, large cabana, (with TV), fountain, complete outdoor kitchen, Tiki bar, dining area compete with a fireplace with gas logs, ample shaded sitting areas complete with misters and remember this is all outside! In side is a wonderfully equipped kitchen that allows you to be a part of everything indoors and out. The large master bedroom, with glass doors opening to your outside retreat, also has a sitting area plus an office, (is you must stay plugged in). There are two guest rooms and 3 bathrooms. The family room and inside dining area also have those great views of your outside oasis. The large TV is equipped for streaming and DVD player in the family room. The great dining and shopping that Rancho Mirage is known for are just minutes away. If you can’t tell we loved our stay at this property!

Very nice place to just relax, read that book you’ve been meaning to get to, hang out with close friends. Friendly and accommodating hosts.

We loved the backyard with pool and hottub. It was fully fenced and was great for my 3 year old The host is very kind and met all our needs. Would recommend and stay again

We stayed for a week in early November and loved every minute! From the grilling to the hot-tub to making s’mores under the stars, this was a marvelous spot to enjoy a relaxing desert vacation!

The back patio area is even better than the photos show, especially at night with all the lighting. Really enjoyable!

This is house was a perfect getaway for lounging by the pool, sitting under the cabana, soaking in the hot tub and relaxing evenings in. It has everything you will need from, a great kitchen for cooking, a large master suite and room for the teens to spread out and have their own rooms as well, a great living room for movie night, as well as all the outdoor space you will need! We even enjoyed the community pool for laps and more exercise in a full size pool across the street. It was conveniently located by all the shopping you could need from Trader Joes to the Mall and dining in of all types. Overall it was the a fabulous tranquil get away after a hectic stay in LA!

The owner was very attentive and easy to communicate with during the stay. The house is centrally located making it very easy to get around and explore town. We are already checking our calendars to return next year.

This trip to the desert was our first time staying in Rancho Mirage. Usually, we stay in La Quinta and have done so at least on six other occasions. However, we had several families staying at a nearby resort and wanted to be close to them to visit their property each day. The property was clean, and the owner was very proactive with communication. He did come and introduced himself on the first day. The wifi was reliable; the backyard had misters and a cabana that had an industrial overhead fan and a large tv that can swivel as you sit in the pool/tub. There were individual remote-controlled units for the rooms that did not have access to the central AC vents. The neighborhood is quiet and a throwback to mid-century modern homes. You are VERY close to shopping and entertainment. You are about a mile or so walk away from The River entertainment area.I probably would have got more out of the property during the spring or fall. The backyard lends itself to staying outside and enjoying conversation and the surroundings. There were minor things that, for me, are important but not deal breakers. It wasn't easy figuring out the lighting within the home. I prefer not to experiment or read instructions on how to turn on the lights. Also, the master bedroom bed was a mattress on a frame. The photo showed a bed with a headboard, and that was missing. The AC in the central area worked VERY well and fed one of the rooms. However, it was difficult for my daughter, who was staying in the guest room, to cool her room down. And it was too cold to stay in the central area. Again, first-world problems, not a deal-breaker but a good to know. My son stayed in a bedroom that was a converted sala with a pullout. That was nice. However, I could not find blankets for him to use for the bed. Fortunately, I did find sheets and the warm weather helped him maintain the right level of warmth. Overall, this is a lovely property. I did learn that each city has different requirements for the owner and occupant. So, though I did not have anything to worry about, I thought the city rules were a bit much compared to when I stay in La Quinta. Keep in mind that it is beyond the owner's control and has to do with the city of Rancho Mirage.

Mike’s home is the best Vrbo rental home and experience I’ve had. Trust me when I tell you that we did not want to leave. The house is so well-appointed and beautiful- everything you need is at your fingertips. It’s located in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood, surrounded by beautiful gardens of fruit trees and cacti selection alike. The inner home doors open up to an amazing pool/jacuzzi area, where we spent most of our time. Believe me when I say that comfortability was thoughtfully carried out via an outdoor tv and cabaña, grill, tiki bar, and outside misters! Our stay in Rancho Mirage was truly magical and many wonderful memories were made there, from relaxing spa moments to family dinners around the home’s open-plan dining and kitchen area. Ever since we left, it’s all we talk about to our friends and family. We cannot wait to be back!

I couldn’t be happier with this property and the owners! Everything was exactly as listed, and the owners are kind, responsive, and take a great deal of pride in this house. I would stay here again, and have already recommended it to several friends! Additionally, the town is VERY cute. It served all of our needs. It’s an hour outside of Joshua Tree, which is something we had found attractive. If you’re looking for a property in Rancho Mirage, this is the one.

The property was absolutely beautiful inside and out. The property owners Mike and Noreen have designed the space for relaxing year round outdoor living. We spent every evening in the cabana after dinner watching the kids swim. The fruit trees and beautiful flowers were a great backdrop for many pictures. We can’t wait to return to this property for our next vacation to California!!

Great property, great host, great vibe! Mike was very welcoming and we immediately felt at home after arriving. House accommodates all you need to relax and be comfortable. Outdoor area is super peaceful with an amazing grill, tiki bar, fruit trees and you can watch TV from the hot tub. There's also a large sparkling pool just steps away from the front door. Property is in a great neighborhood located minutes away from an awesome shopping area and mall. We left feeling very relaxed and happy!

We needed an escape during shutdown and Michael’s place definitely delivered. The house was perfect for what we needed and the backyard was amazing. We spent our whole trip in the pool. We are looking forward to coming back!

We had a great time at the Hughes house in Rancho Mirage. We'll located, clean, comfortable and with a great backyard to unwind in. Definitely one we could stay at again in the future

The owner was close by, responsive and very easy to work with. Very nice neighborhood, had a good feel to it. The location is very convenient to all of the valley and easy to get in and out of. The house is designed for vacationers with it's free flowing layout and open access from all rooms onto the wonderful, perfect for hanging out, back courtyard. The main bedroom bed mattress was perfect...I'd maybe rent here again just for that...a golf vacation needs a bed that doesn't give you a backache! I would definitely return here.

Beautiful charming home with all the necessary modern facilities. The backyard is the icing on the cake. We hardly felt like leaving the backyard. Hanging out there was the highlight of our vacation. It was beautifully maintained and kids loved being in the pool. Owner was friendly and always available to answer any questions. Overall an amazing experience.

Our group of 6 had a fantastic 4days. We spent most our time by the pool relaxing under the misters. The cabana w/TV was awesome at night and also enjoyed the fire pit outside. We come to this area every year and this was our favorite place thus far! Michael was a very gracious host.

We stated here with our adult children and their spouses. The house was Spacious for our group of 5. It was clean and well equipped. It is also in a very quiet neighborhood. Communication was great and after arrival the owner stopped by to show us some things and answer any questions. The backyard is AMAZING! We spent most of our time there. There is a cabana with a large outdoor tv so we could see our favorite sports while lounging in the hot tub and pool. The outdoor fireplace, tiki bar and outdoor kitchen were absolutely perfect! The grill was super nice and there’s an outdoor refrigerator and prep sink as well. We would definitely stay here again and Highly recommend it to others!!!

We were able to relax for a few days and thoroughly enjoyed our getaway - the property was impeccably clean, even by the high standards of Mom, and the private backyard was wonderful. Great for families ... especially liked the high end BBQ grill! Would definitely return.
