We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House is exactly as described in the listing...you can't ask for anything more than that. Great value compared to the other rental options in the area. Walk to the beach was easy and South Bethany is a great place for a family. We would definitely rent Sandpiper Pines again.

Super clean, great South Bethany location, very nice neighbors. Good for family, party people head north to Dewey.

We returned after 2 years - this house is a great value and a short walk to the beach.

I am sorry to write a poor review, but with so many high ratings, I think it should be known that this house was very disappointing. Maybe it would work if you are just looking for a place to sleep after a full day at the beach, which you can walk to if you want to cross the highway and lug everything.... but I can't think of any other way of describing it but dingy. The carpet is old and dirty, the light bulbs are all different shades of orange and yellow, the cleaning supplies are super gross, bbq propane tank empty (which the owners also say you can go fill up yourself -- no thanks), the beach chairs rusty and the umbrella didn't even work. Oh it shakes too, which is super comforting. I thought that with the description about this being the family's "loved" beach house that it would be cute and well kept-- but as a renter that is not a member of their family -- it was not a good experience.

We enjoyed our trip to Bethany Beach. The house was in a great location and we could easily walk to the beach. We enjoyed a peaceful getaway. We notified the owner about a broken beach umbrella and the bottom oven not heating properly. The house was clean and the large eat in kitchen worked out great. My only recommendation is to update the beds as they were not comfortable. The bottom bed in bunk room felt to be like a futon pad, not a mattress.

We enjoyed our stay at Sandpiper Pines. The house was nice & the area was quiet. The only one "problem" was the bedrooms have to much light coming in at night. We like a dark room. The queen bed for us bothered our backs we are use to an adjustable bed & "regular" mattress. That bed is a tempurpedic mattress.

"Joans Arc" was super cute and clean on a quiet street walking distance to the beach. Its like staying at your Aunts house at the shore. Furnature is older but in great condition. Family vibe all around. I would certainly stay there again.

The kitchen is well supplied and we were able to make many of our meals "at home" instead of having to eat out. Communication with the property owners was terrific- rapid responses to questions and very friendly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Also, the pictures do not do justice to the comfort and coziness of this home. It is located close to the beach and to several restaurants where the food was awesome! A terrific value and a wonderful stay!

It definitely could use a new refrigerator, dishwasher, and washer. There is one queen size bed, a bunk bed with 2 full size parts and another full size bed. It would have been better to have another queen size bed. We had 2 couples and a double bed is pretty small. The house is well equiped with dishes and cookware.

A cute house just a short bike ride from bethany beach and a 15 minute bike ride from town square. My family and I enjoyed everything about this house from the quiet neighborhood to the countless ammentitites.

The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals to keep things inexpensive. We rented bikes from Fenwick Bikes. The boardwalk is only 1.5 mi away so biking there was popular with the teens. Molly, the property manager was very responsive There were beach chairs in the bin that we were happy to have access to. There is a large stock of DVDs but surprisingly no other games so bring some of your own. Overall, this home is reasonably priced and in a very accessible location to everything the shore has to offer!

We had a wonderful stay! Communication beforehand was excellent, check in was easy, and the property had everything we needed (except what we were told ahead of time to bring). The kids loved the outdoor swing, and it was great to be able to walk to the beach. We appreciated the quieter area too.
