Separate 1 bedroom suite in Pretty cliff top house and neighborhood with access to locals beach stairway about 4 blocks away. If you are quiet and like quiet, this is a good spot. 5 min drive to downtown.

Quiet and peaceful neighborhood within walking distance to the beach. The location is an easy drive to Shoreline Drive and State Street. Our hosts were very friendly and willing to please. The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Ade was so helpful with recommendations and accommodating our requests. The location was perfect. Walking distance to coffee and bagels and then to the beach. The place was immaculate in a very quiet neighborhood. Couldn't have asked for a better place. Thank you, Ade!

Very nice property, this is a small room and bath attached to the main house. Located about a block above the cliff shoreline, short walks in both directions to fabulous views, beaches. Property manager on site, friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

The property was very clean and quiet. The location is great. If you like to walk or run there’s multiple beach access places around (including right near the property) and I even had a wonderful walk to the downtown area. The owners were very nice and helpful!

This place is beautiful! Great, quiet neighborhood. The room was perfect for us, comfy bed, spacious bathroom with nice shower and a big garden tub. Cute porch to sit out on with your morning coffee. The communication with the owner was fabulous, very quick to text back before and during our stay. A+ all around.

It was a gorgeous room and property very close to an ocean view, with a small ocean view from the bedroom. If you are not quiet yourself, I feel like it might disturb the neighbors and hosts. Also, I was hoping to get some sun on the deck, but this time of year there was very little. It was between two taller homes, so only available during the middle of the day.

This place was beautiful with a view of the ocean, super clean, very quiet, awesome landscaping, super friendly hosts, perfect bed, so comfortable and relaxing overall. I highly recommend this vrbo choice. I plan to return again for a stay here..

Host communication was poor.Host was late in getting us into property. Too many restrictions and rules. I’ve stayed at many VRBO properties for comparison. Place was much smaller than portrayed in pics and listing. Overpriced for overall experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was perfect for us as a couple. It was close to the beach, downtown, and stores/shops. Communication and checkin/out were easy. Next time we're in Santa Barbara we will book again.

The property is in a really nice location close to the beach. The home itself is very nice and the unit we stayed in was a decent size. It had a nice seperate tub and shower. The fridge in the room was nice enough to hold a few drinks. The drawbacks were that the bed itself is very firm/hard with little cushion, pillows are flat and bedding seems a little outdated. This combined with the room feeling very stuffy although we had windows open made for not such great sleep at night. Would had been nice if there was a ceiling fan in the room. But again for the price, it would be hard to find anything. We would be "maybe" to stay here again.

Quiet neighborhood in West Mesa with beautiful front yard garden. Easy access to main beaches and downtown Santa Barbara. Local beach access requires long stairway descent and ascent (245 stairs), but well worth it. Accommodations include nice, clean bedroom, bathroom, and coffee nook, with outdoor seating for two. Truly enjoyed this getaway!.

This was a perfect spot for my husband and I. The room was as comfortable and as advertised and the hosts were lovely. There is beach, nature reserve, restaurants and grocery in easy walkable distance, and there was very little in Santa Barbara that took more than 10 minutes to drive to. The bed mattress is nice quality, but very very firm.

I rented the property for two months while preparing my house for sale. Very small and as indicated, no kitchen. No toaster, mini fridge is for drinks not suitable for food. Microwave was nice, tho hard to use due to location. No paper towels, pot holders, plates, napkins, sharp knife, salt or pepper. Dishes and utensils are washed in the bathroom sink,-- no dish soap or sponge or dish towels. Shower nice and hot, but the knobs are on backwards and no shower mat ( I left one). Toilet paper not supplied after initial 4 rolls?? Verizon cell service very poor in the area. A few days is fun to eat out all meals. Not 57 days.

I loved being able to walk to beach and Douglas Preserve. The neighborhood is very serene with ocean views at every turn. The hosts we’re available and helpful. I appreciated the Cody bed and spacious bathroom.

I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the dialogue with the hosts prior to arriving. They wanted to make sure I was ok with not having a kitchen, since I was staying for a month due to work. All in all the place was exactly as advertised, very clean and quiet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ade and Steve's unit. The location was perfect. We enjoyed the sunsets from the cliffs every day. The house was perfect and Ade made sure we always had everything we needed. They could not have been more welcoming. We are so grateful for our time there and cannot recommend this unit enough!

I stayed with the Wingers for a month while I worked at the local hospital and had such a wonderful stay! It was heavenly and I miss my daily beach walks. This place is quiet and tucked away but right off the ocean and with walking access to great coffee shops, public beaches, and restaurants. Ade and her husband were so nice and accommodating, easy to contact, and made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I will be back next time I'm lucky enough to be in Santa Barbara!

First, the place. An impeccably clean cozy studio with a great bed in a delightful neighborhood near the water. The garden is beautiful. Then, the area - a 5 minute walk from the door past beautiful homes and gardens puts you looking out over the ocean. Down the stairs to the beach or continue to The Douglas Family preserve for a natural setting walk along the buffs above the ocean. A wonderful place for the sunset. Ade and Steve are warm and delightful hosts that added to the overall warm and charming character of this place. There is not a kitchen but a coffee maker and mini frig allowed for snacks and refreshments. There are numerous local restaurants within a 5 min drive or 15 min walk.

At this price, you won't find a better location for a stay in Santa Barbara than this. The Mesa is a terrific area in which to stay. Relatively short walk to the beach, restaurants, parks, and shopping. Quiet residential neighborhood. Hosts who care about the quality of your stay. The ocean is actually visible (and audible at times) from the deck, if only through a gap in the neighbor's houses. The only downside is the lack of kitchen facilities. For an extended stay (which SB city ordinance *requires* as of this writing) you must be very creative in arranging your meals. Otherwise, you'll have to pay to eat out every meal, which will add considerably to the cost of your stay. A small refrigerator in the room helps somewhat.Otherwise, highly recommended. We enjoyed our stay immensely.
