Great stay! House is perfect. Everything you need. Kitchen is stocked extremely well. Views are spectacular. Hot tub is wonderful. Watched seals and birds and even saw whales. Great hiking nearby, Roberts Creek is adorable, good food in Sechelt and Gibsons. We loved it!

Beach Haven is a gem! View, beach, coastal location and access are the best! Comfort and cleanliness are obviously a priority. The owners are so personable and truly know how to operate the perfect 5 star vrbo. One of our favorite beach cottages and we’ll certainly be returning.

My family had a wonderful time here!! It was our first time on the Sunshine Coast. The view is breathtaking, We saw whales jumping from the lawn and tons of seals and fish. This was great for our 2 year old and dog as well! Janet was wonderful to speak too and always with a quick response. Don’t second guess to book this place is perfect! We would highly recommend!! This is a delightful cottage right on the beach. It has everything that you need, well appointed kitchen, comfy beds, lovely living room and the best view on the Sunshine Coast. The owners were easy to deal and quick to respond to any questions that we had. Would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was clean and organized with a fully stocked kitchen. The views were stunning and it was great walking to the beach and into Roberts Creek. We also appreciated having the hot tub and bbq. Would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay on this gorgeous property. Perfectly situated on the beach. It doesn’t get much better than that. The living room, kitchen and dining room were uncomfortably hot though. You may want to bring a fan. The bedrooms have fans which is helpful. We mostly bbq’d to keep the temperature down. If you plan on working as we had too, just be aware that the wifi and data roaming is not very strong.

Beach Haven was the perfect getaway for our family of 4, and our dog. It has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay, and a few things you didn’t think were necessary until you saw them, like a waffle iron and a panini press! The views of the water are spectacular, rain or shine. It felt secluded, yet still close to shops and cafes. It was definitely hard to leave at the end of the week.

So enjoyed my 5-nights in this beautifully appointed, well organised and wonderfully cared for home-away-from-home. Owners were very attentive and a pleasure to deal with :) Thanks for the perfect retreat!

My wife and I really enjoyed our visit. Watching the water, seals, various bird, and an occasional jumping fish was the perfect place to unplug. We did some short hikes at Gilker and Secret Cove. Both are nice and scenic. We were there in the off-season so nothing was crowded and we lucked out and had great weather. The place was clean and had everything we needed. There is a nice gas grill to use but I don’t think it was listed on the amenities. We look forward to returning.

This was our second time staying here and it was as beautiful as the last time. The house is the perfect size but we spend most of the day outside. The owner is very helpful and responsive. Over all, a lovely stay! I hope to go back next year and the year after that!

Our family had a wonderful time at this vacation rental! Our kids loved playing on the beach, going kayaking and taking little trips to local cideries. We would highly recommend it!

My husband and I had a restorative stay at Beach Haven for 10 days. The property has everything you need and more! The Sunshine Coast is a lovely area to explore, but we found ourselves often thinking, "there's no better view than Beach Haven. Let's just go back there." The hosts were excellent to deal with and the check-in/out process was seamless. Highly recommend.

What a find! My partner and I spent a week in this lovely cottage this November—and we wish we could have stayed longer! We thoroughly enjoyed spending the week reading by the fire, and enjoying the fantastic views over the water through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area. The hot tub outside was a great bonus. During our time there, we saw our first bald eagle in the wild—just while looking out the windows! This was in addition to all of the sea life visible from the living room and kitchen. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could have needed to prepare our meals. Everything in the unit was spotlessly clean. Lastly, Janet was so nice to communicate with. We are greatly looking forward to returning and spending two weeks in this unit next time!

Perfect home away from home with all the amenities one could ever want or need. Especially loved being able to sit in the hot tub and watch seals and birds frolic in the waves in front of the property.

I loved this property. As I drove down the driveway I heard the ocean waves rolling in on the rocks and from that moment on I was a happy camper! Janet was friendly, helpful and always quick to reply. The beach cottage had everything I needed. The little kayak was a special treat especially for my grandchildren. I highly recommend this cottage and hope to come back next summer or maybe before!

A small cottage on the beach, jacuzzi, sandy beach on low tides with small crabs - everything a family needs for a great vacation.

We just enjoyed an amazing week at the Beach Haven. The ocean is just steps from the yard and at low tide a sand beach appears in front of the property. A true west coast experience. While you could spend all day just enjoying the view there are options like swimming and hiking to keep you busy. The cottage was the perfect size for us (couple and small dog). It was clean, comfortable and well equipped for preparing meals. Janet was amazing to deal with and responded quickly to all our correspondence. We highly recommend this property and look forward to a return stay.

Cliff Gilker Park is literally only a 5 minute drive away. The cottage itself suited our needs perfectly. The view of the ocean is wonderful. Out back there is a large lawn area where you can run around with your dog or kids. Everything right down to paper products is supplied, something we certainly appreciated. The hot tub is an added perk. Communication with Janet was easy and she was always available if we had an inquiry. Our thanks to the Adelaars for sharing their amazing beachfront home with us!

A picture IS worth a thousand words and the pictures of this home and location do not lie! We stayed at Beach Haven for 2 weeks in October (just two of us and our dog!). It was the perfect remote getaway from the city where we could work, relax, and experience a much-needed change of scenery during these COVID times. Beach Haven is well-maintained, clean, quiet, and perfectly situated right on the water. I don't know who was more sad to leave...us or our dog, Odi. He was definitely living his best life at Beach Haven. Thanks Janet for opening your home to us!
