We had a wonderful time and the house was fantastic. Everything was as stated. House was clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for all 17 of us. We enjoyed the hot tub and 1 night at the fire pit making s’mores. We saw moose close to the house and had deer come through the yard a couple of tomes. Easy drive to West Yellowstone. We give this house a 5 star rating!!

We had a great week at this place. Plenty of room for all of us. Loved looking at the moose and her baby. They visited almost every day we were there. Short drive to Yellowstone. We cooked most days but did enjoy a night out for dinner. It was a short drive and on the lake. It was great food!

This was a very quite area. We had a moose and her baby visit the back yard one evening. It’s about a 30 minute drive to the west gate of Yellowstone.We enjoyed our stay very much.

My family and I really enjoyed ourselves, we were a pretty big group and there was enough space for everyone. The host was very quick to respond with what we needed. I would recommend and come back!

Great place to stay, very spacious, close to so many great places to visit, nice and quiet and entertaining if you just wanted to hang out with family.

We certainly enjoyed our time in Island Park. Very secluded property, which was greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay there again!

Overall spacious cabin with several amenities such as a pool table, wrap around deck, and hot tub. Cabin interior was a little worn, but still nice.

This was a great property for our big family trip. There were twelve of us ranging from 75-1.5yo and everyone had plenty of space to sleep and move around. Bonus was the baby gates that were included!! The property is about 40min from the West entrance of Yellowstone. Monica was quick to respond and helpful. The only thing I wish rental properties provided was use of streaming services (Netflix, Disney…) it’s a nice touch to be able to watch a movie at the end of the night. Great place, thank you for everything!

The distance to Yellowstone wasn't too far. The house fit our needs. There were 17 of us and there was plenty of room. We couldn't find a can opener, but we made due. Seeing both a mama moose and baby and then a bull moose was amazing. Did have a small problem with gnats, but would definitely rent again, it was very nice

This location worked out really well for our family - 10 of us in all and we had plenty of space for all of us. The house is very nice - well done with plenty of things that made us all comfortable. The only heads up I would have for those that book is that anything you may need to go to - groceries, sight-seeing, etc. - are all a good drive. BUT, the remoteness of this location is wonderful to be removed from everything. We even saw a moose in the property across the road! Really enjoyed our stay.

Property was good, true to listing. We enjoyed our stay. Just a few things that could be changed. This cabin can accommodate large groups. As a party of 19, there was only one set of towels for each person. If you used your allotted towel drying off after being in the hot tub, you had to use the same wet towel to dry off after showering. We were constantly washing towels. There was not enough toilet paper provided. We were out with so many people so had to buy more at a quick stop. We were only at the cabin at night and early morning.. This listing came with an additional $295. cleaning fee, however, the instructions said we should remove our bedding and take down to the laundry room. That certainly should be included in the cleaning fee. The cabin is three stories but be aware that those sleeping in the basement will hear every tiny noise from upstairs. Also, the upper bedroom and study with 2 beds do not have window coverings so there’s no sleeping in.

We took our family of 17 to this house. It was just perfect for us. The house had a pool table that the grandchildren loved. They played wiffle ball in the street, had fires in the fire pit, roasted marshmallows! They whittled on the front porch! It was comfortable and well equipped. I would suggest extra blankets to be available for the kids on the couches. We loved it

Love the location. Saw deer, elk, fox, moose. Fished, rode Side by sides and received over an inch of rain and up to three inches of snow memorial day weekend. Love Idaho.

The truly amazing thing about this property is that we had to reschedule suddenly due to a family illness and they really were amazing to work with. They were understanding and let us pick another time that would work. We truly appreciated that! The property though looks much larger in the picture. Our group was big, we had a family celebration with 20 people. There enough beds but there were so many other things wrong. The property says is it good for 20 people but they give you one roll of paper towels, one kitchen wash cloth, one bath hand towel per bath and 2 towel per bedroom not people but beds. That is NOT enough utilities if you are going to allow that many people. Plus the place was decorated in run down Christmas decorations, tree included even though our reservation was for the last weekend of February. It was not cleaned well - the kitchen table was super sticky, there was dust everywhere, and there were dust bunnies in the corners as if they didn’t mop. The walls are all dinged up with paint chipping. They just looked dirty and gross. The beds were not great. One bed was so broken down that the adults rolled to the middle. The water in the fridge didn’t work the whole weekend and the ice maker stopped a day into our trip. And to top it all off, they had no ice melt on the property and the front steps were incredibly icy which resulted in two people falling down the steps. We understand that it is a rental property but when you pay hundreds of dollars a night plus all the other fees and taxes you expect to stay in a much nicer place. Like I said, they were convenient to work with and the location was nice and there was lots of room for the kids to play. I would advise not renting this property for large parties.. It would be a great place for 10 or so people.

Beautiful, cozy, remote winter getaway. Great place to stay if you like to snowmobile. Monica was very responsive to every question we had. Would highly recommend!

Well kept cabin, great location, very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. We had an issue with the internet, and property management and owner were extremely responsive and fixed it ASAP. This location would be great for a large family get together. Lots of bedrooms and space, plenty of bathrooms, and just all around a great location.

This place provided everything that we were looking for a week long stay. It was big enough to host our group but at the same time it was cozy to have good interactions with all the guests. The place is situated in the woods and gives good privacy. At the same time it is accessible easily. The communication with the host was quick and smooth.

The log cabin is beautiful and roomy. It is located in a lovely place in the forest, surrounded by pines and vegetation. We enjoyed the classy campfire pit. It was fun to have several visits by a mother moose and her calf and to watch the hawks soar above the trees. We had a very enjoyable family reunion with 20 family members.

Beautiful cabin settled in a peaceful mountain setting was just what we needed for some adult sibling family time away from our children. The cabin had plenty of space for us to spread out. The wrap around porch was perfect for evening visits and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make our stay perfect. We would definitely use the cabin again.

We did also make two, two hour, trips to Jackson hole as well. We did see the mother and baby moose in the field across the road from the house. The house has plenty of beds as stated but I would suggest maybe some extra towels and washcloths would be nice to have Each guest is given one each for the whole week we were there. When we would leave at 6:30am and sometimes get home around 9/10 o’clock at night it made it hard toj get these washed to be reused after a couple of times using them for showers. There is a washer and dryer which makes it nice but again sometimes it was hard to get the towels and washed cloths washed for reuse. One other thing was the fireplace. I didn’t know a book existed with information on how to start the fireplace and we didn’t call anyone as it wasn’t a big deal because we only had cold weather the first few nights and then it got warm while we were there so didn’t think we needed to place a call when we couldn’t get it lit. Maybe a nice typed up note on how to start it placed in a frame on the mantle or hearth would help with that for future guests. I’m sure we were the only ones who had this problem but it was our fault not seeing it in the book. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay in this very beautiful home and setting.

We spent 6 nights in Island Park last week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was my first VRBO experience and I was quite pleased with the process. Marie was easy to work with and responded quickly to questions. The home was beautiful with plenty of space for our very large group. The hot tub worked perfectly, we did not use the sauna so I cannot speak to that, bedrooms were clean, linen was readily available, and the kitchen was well supplied. I would have liked for the grass near the firepit to be mowed, but that's not an issue just a personal preference. Overall, our stay was fantastic and we appreciate having the opportunity to stay in Marie's beautiful home.

Great place to stay. Close to Yellowstone and very close to Island Park Reservoir. Beautful propriety surrounded by an amazing area.
